Are most Muslims terrorists?

"No one's pain is deeper or deserve more sympathy than another. We all go through pain and trails. Sensitivity should not get into the way of correction. If someone is acting like a mule rebuke must take it's course. My sensitivity would only prevent me from speaking the truth in fear not to upset the person."

I'm sorry, but that's not true at all, some people go through a lot more than others, and to deny it, is to deny how God uses trouble to sustain us. It's not the same thing when you get bullied for how you look, and be killed for how you look. These are 2 different things. It's not the same when you break up with your boyfriend, and lose a child. There are deeper pains all over the universe, and there are very less fortunate people than others. We must be considerate and compassionate of others and their trials.

"No one's pain is deeper or deserve more sympathy than another.''
A boy touched on his privates and a boy who was physically raped both experienced a traumatic episode. Should I listen to the cries of one over the other no, should I say one pain is deeper than the other no. As humans we all interpret pain based on many factors, our environment, family and how the situation was handled. Now a pedophile who himself/herself was raped as a child, must receive the same correction and rebuke to the pedophiles who weren't victimized. A person who is or was a victim must be corrected.

No one's pain is deeper or deserve more sympathy than another. We all go through pain and trails.

Meaning my pain is not better or deserve more attention than your pain. No matter how little it may be perceived. Recently a girl shot her father with an arrow in his chest because he took her phone and grounded her. Many kids are punished and have things taken from them and did not try to kill their parents, but in her own eyes and in her own pain, it was enough to make her send her father to the hospital.

Sensitivity should not get into the way of correction.
Should the police be sensitive to the fact that her dad hurt her feelings before she shot him and let her go freely ?
She is wrong for what she did, but at that time her pain and emotions is real and strong to her. May seem meaningless to us.

If someone is acting like a mule rebuke must take it's course.
Hopefully she gets some jail time.

My sensitivity would only prevent me from speaking the truth in fear not to upset the person."

If I know someone who was a rape victim and they are doing something wrong, I'm not going to restrain myself to make her feel better. And it all goes back to no one's pain is deeper or deserve more sympathy than another. Pain is how I perceive it not the definition written in a book. A 73 yr old man shot 5 people dead and wounded 1 this month in Arizona because they were involved in his 2008 divorce. I know people who got divorce and didn't kill their ex or lawyer. Pain is personal so therefore can not be seen or judged with the natural eye and measured by levels.

property of God said...It's not the same thing when you get bullied for how you look, and be killed for how you look.

The person who is dead feels nothing, but it's the families who suffer.
The person who is bullied feels the pain, and in most cases kill themselves leaving their family to suffer.
Two different situations but the pain for each individual can only be measured by them not the on lookers.

Property of God said...We must be considerate and compassionate of others and their trials

That sums up the meaning of No one's pain is deeper or deserve more sympathy than another...

I think there's some misinterpretation on what " No one's pain is deeper or deserve more sympathy means, but your last line reveals it's true intent.

..........................................................................................................................................................................

I guess it's sort of like during the cold war so many Americans expressed hatred for the Russians---Which is mis-directed as they should hate the Communism and not the people victimized by it----The same here as previously stated---It is the Koran we should loath and try to deliver as many innocent souls from it's effects as possible-----------But also you have to be a bit sensitive to those who have been victimized by Islam whether it be terrorist or radical religionists , (just made up a word)---Of course the Islams are going to be held a bit in suspicion, for example it you are an airline pilot and you see 15 Muslims on board your going to get a chill and be praying for safety because of the world wide terror they have accomplished---To the sweet sweet---nice nice crowd I would say, be as gentle as a dove and AS WISE AS A SERPENT.

Happy

But also you have to be a bit sensitive to those who have been victimized by Islam whether it be terrorist or radical religionists , (just made up a word)

No one's pain is deeper or deserve more sympathy than another. We all go through pain and trails. Sensitivity should not get into the way of correction. If someone is acting like a mule rebuke must take it's course. My sensitivity would only prevent me from speaking the truth in fear not to upset the person.

Of course the Islams are going to be held a bit in suspicion, for example it you are an airline pilot and you see 15 Muslims on board your going to get a chill and be praying for safety

I'm guessing you meant muslim when you said '' islams''. Any person or airline pilot that feels that way is a fool and obviously do not have a relationship with God.

Psalm 56:11 In God I trust; I shall not be afraid.
What can man do to me
?

I would suggest therapy for such a person who live in fear, such thought patterns is unhealthy, and would lead them to do unthinkable things. I can share 2 exmples of what people with such thought patterns are capable of .

A black Muslim teenager said he was beaten on Election Night by four white men furious that Barack Obama was elected the nation's next President. Ali Kamara, 17, was walking home when four white men leaped from a gold car and started kicking him and smashing him with a baseball bat at about 10 p.m. near his Staten Island home.

Case 2.

Clearwater, Florida - There's new information about 35-year-old Gerald Prebe, a Clearwater father, who is accused of slamming his pickup truck into a longtime city of Clearwater worker.
Investigators say Prebe told them "he intended to kill" Terry Butler, who is African-American, because he thought he was a terrorist.
53-year-old Butler, had to have emergency surgery for a fractured neck and internal bleeding.

A true child of God and disciple would know walking in fear shows a lack of faith.

Psalm 27:1
The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?

Matthew 10:28
And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

(NKJV)

because of the world wide terror they have accomplished-

We have seen civilizations and nations move on to a higher level of understanding and acceptance of their history and past. Imagine if the people of Central America, South America, Caribbean, Africa, Australia would panic when they see a cruise ship filled with Europeans. In their minds they were about to be invaded enslaved and colonized. The cruise ship industry would fail and these countries would lose money attainable from tourism. That fear have no existence in their minds else we'd hear stories of ships being attacked before it can reach the shore. This, in no way implies they forgot the past and hold no ill thoughts, but it shows an understanding and acceptance have taken place. They do not hold those who exist today responsible for the past. Nor do they run and hide their families at the sight of anyone of european descent, because they fear they'll be shipped off as slaves.

If we are to live in fear based on stereotypes, we'd end up hermits. For our neighbors and family members might fit the description of serial killer, pedophile etc. We would lock ourselves indoors to be safe.

It's unhealthy and it limits us from sharing the gospel. If we walked around discriminating people that are different we are not exercising love. Jesus died while we sinners, despite the filth in our hearts he did it. He didn't show favoritism or discrimination. Instead he loved us not by word but by action, so it's only fit that we in return show strangers what that kind of love look like. When we stop using stereotypes as a measure on how we treat different people then and only then would the world have respect for Christians. I didn't say like, for we are to be hated.

John 13:33-35
New King James Version (NKJV)
33 Little children, I shall be with you a little while longer. You will seek Me; and as I said to the Jews, ‘Where I am going, you cannot come,’ so now I say to you. 34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Romans 12:9-21
Behave Like a Christian

9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. 10 Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; 11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; 12 rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; 13 distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.
14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. 16 Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.
17 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. 18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. 19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,”[a] says the Lord. 20 Therefore

“ If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
If he is thirsty, give him a drink;
For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.”

21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good
.

I'm not perfect but I try to live by these verses, that I see as commands. I'm not interested in prosperity of blessings, what is for me will be. Being faithful and obedient to God is more important.

20 Therefore

hahaha, thank you for taking the track you did later in the post. my opinions, they're jerks (read violent people) all over, and there's good everywhere too. think yin-yang my friend.

I'm not worry

Islam has many violence problems and even many Muslims know that like Gamal El Bana, He's a Muslim teacher who is trying to tell the Muslims that Verses of persecuting us was deleted by verses which made us lovable to them like the one about the monks, but the great majority of Muslims don;t think that
They think they must persecute us because the verses about persecution deleted the verses of love.

Since November 2010, until now with an exception of Feb 2011 (The revolution date) they burn, explode, or turn down a Church, but last month they burnt two Churches and the army troops were there and did nothing.

Yesterday, we renewed one of them and started to pray, many Muslims came and surrounded the Church to protect it from their brothers !!!! who came and clashed with them trying to burn both the Church and the prayers along!

They were too much and we had to end the praying soon.

let alone kidnapping, raping our daughters to force them to accept Islam, or they will be scandled (A non virgin don't get marry in our underdeveloped society)

Last girl named (Jacklin) was returned by Muslims!!! who heard her screams after she was held for days by a known Sheik in Alexandria named Yaser El Bourhamy and they saved her, but it was too late, any way she's safe and told us about the Sheik and his gang,

But the army do nothing at all, and the police is attacked daily by the Islamists and their gangs,

Last friday a Coptic reporter were in a demonstration trying to report it, they knew she's Christian because the channel name and she wasn't wearing Islamic castum, one of the demonstrators, shouted a Jew, A Jew,

people gathered injured her cast seriously and tryed to rape her, the people who saved her were Muslims, and a Muslim officer still in the hospital until now !!

Aymen El Zawahry, rules El Kada now, and threatened our Church in Egypt and already he and Bin Laden exploded one in December 2010 here in Egypt and another one in Iraq,

His brother Ryad is a moderate Muslim dentist, in Roxy-Cairo.

But how can you guarantee how a Muslim will interpert Koran ?

Koran has no Chronical serials, I mean it does not tell accurate history and doesn't care, so who knows which verse canceled which verse

It's an Islamic science called (الناسخ و المنسوخ) El Nasek and Masouk which means the eraser and the erased, and it's the most important in Koran in my opinion, it's simply tries to answer the question, which verse erased which verse.

Tajikstan (An Islamic country) withdrew it's students from El Azhar (The largest Islamic university) in december 2010 because they said Muslims in Egypt are so extrimists, and threten the peace in their country, and they are right

it's how a Muslim sees his Koran, so when they say they want to teach Christians about the good and peace in Islam so we don't misunderstand them, I laugh and say, teach each other first, we (especially in middle east) know what is Islam, now you are the one who should decide what is Islam, is it the Islam of Aymen in El Kada, or the Islam off his brother Ryad

and with whole respect I don't believe in Mohamed prophet in either cases, and I'll not ever believe he's a prophet from God because he's not and because I'm Christian, and I will live and die as a Christian for ever.

Yet, my sisters and brothers let me tell you the good of bad interpertion of Koran and persecution

1) We feel the love of Jesus sooooooo much all time, not just his love but his warm teachings and his pure care for us, I can tell you how the sheeps of King David felt when he saved them from the lion and the bear, It's awesome to have a father like him, I don't complain, Thanks to my father.

2) We keep praying, I knew a friend who lived in sin for long and now he's not any more, he simply said, we are getting martyred daily, and he must get ready for departure, me too keep praying, confessing, communing, and serving as much as I can to ready, we know death is near like a snake.

3) Doing Chrity, preparing to answer all questions we might be asked by Muslims, in the bus,
in the metro, in the street, when I visit a client, in demonstration, any where and by any Muslim.

4) Learning to love, we were learnt to love them, even if some of them wanted to hate us, we must love, give and love whatever happened.

5) No denominations differences, Protestants love the Catholic and they love us, the Orthodox, The Catholic Pope threatened the Government to stop attcking us (They attacked us and turned down a Church in November 2010 and killed and injured many prayers)
The protestants print the Arabic Bible for all of us for free, because Egyptians (including me) are poor, very poor actually, and many of them were arrested for printing Christian books, then the Orthodox pope interfered and reached an agreement with the government to let them publish the books with one condition writing on them (For Christians use only), and they set the prisoners free too, you see persecution made us love each other soooooo much and help each other so strong, believe me, I love this unity in here.

6) Many other beautiful things we learnt from this hard experiments.

Don't be afraid of bad people, wheather Muslims or not, Just remember always that God is everywhere and he can make the stone hearts so soft, and he revenges from those who hates us,

You know what he did to Osama bin Laden, he threw him in the bottom of the sea, like he did to pharaoh, because he killed scores of us in Iraq and Egypt, and admitted it proudly, He couldn't fight the armed Americans, so he attacked us !!

Now where is he my dear sisters and brothers?
With the pharoh of Egypt who attacked his people 5000 years ago?

I love to say the Church will always be here, and her enemies will go to hell, not because the sheep, no sheep is strong, but because the shepherd is mighty strong.

Thanks for your response, Ramy can you quote or site the sources for the stories above.

Don't be afraid of bad people, wheather Muslims or not, Just remember always that God is everywhere and he can make the stone hearts so soft, and he revenges from those who hates us,

That is the key, us not living in fear and also us not condemning others. God have the power to make hard stones soft is so true.

There's only 2 types of people good and bad, we should not show favoritism based on race, nationality, orientation or religious belief. The original post is not about glamorizing or glorifying Islam but us trying to see people the way God does. Not the outer appearance but the heart.

1 Samuel 16:7
King James Version (KJV)
7But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

We can not judge a whole nation or religious group by the few we have met or stories we have heard. We can not see the heart so it's impossible for any Christian to put themselves above God and say muslims are evil, wicked or violent, unless they have met every muslim man, woman and child on the face of this earth, and can testify as a witness all those things to be true.

I'm not in the business of telling people stuff to feel good inside, it's not my job. All I can do is speak the word, it's not my words it's in the bible. The bible gives us guidelines on how to treat people we perceive as our enemies. Do we follow his commands ? Romans 12:9-11 Or does an eye for an eye overrides Vengeance is mine.

Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord. On the contrary: "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head." Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good (Romans 12:17-21).

Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing (1 Peter 3:9).

Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates his brother is still in the darkness. Whoever loves his brother lives in the light, and there is nothing in him to make him stumble (1 John 2:9-10).

We have to come to a level where we want to be disciples of God and not political puppets, being toss around and fed stuff that speak against the bible. Using our tongues to divide each other under worldly caste systems. We should not wear labels like democrat, republican, conservative etc, thats your vote leave it as that. I hate hearing Christians call themselves by these political brands. Yes we live in the world but its system is not of God, it's not about the weak say I am strong, but the rich say how much more can we make these people weak.

Let your words, opinions and judgement be based on the bible. Let the fruits of his spirit be at work not the flesh. I may find 1million good things to say about muslims and the quick response would be to state 1.1 million bad things muslims have done to override the good, to refuse the thought that muslim and good can not go together.

It's not trying to force anyone to be friends with people of a different nationality and religion, but to ask everyone to check their hearts, to examine it and ask God if their feelings towards muslims are Godly, inspired by his Holy Spirit or of the world.

Galations 5
19Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

21Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

24And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

25If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

My message is love, not to be right or wrong. If I'm found to be wrong I'll admit I'm wrong. I don't respond to anyone here based on emotions. I never read responses right away but when I'm ready to speak ( might be a day or 2). You see when you become emotional attached to a conversation pride steps in, and it does not matter what anyone one says you're going to feel attacked. Today reading everyone's responses I can understand where they are coming , stay true to my message without attacking anyone. And that's what I encourage. If you enjoy this conversation but sense a little aggravation step away until his Holy Spirt leads you to speak. It's the best way to keep peace. Not only on this topic but every forum post. Never take anything written here personal, when you do you get defensive and the conversation gets ugly. It's about God his word and what he wants from us.

Please don't think I'm ignoring the conversations.
I encourage responses, just remember to pray before you submit.

Hi Rizen, of course I agree with you, that Muslims are humans and many of them are good, please notice what I said that who helped us in most cases were Muslims,

about the quotes are not allowed for me because I need to make more posts about 49, yet,

I think you can search on you tube on the key words (Imbaba Church)
to some videos for the last month attacks

and for Jacklin you can search using this Arabic words on youtube عودة جاكلين
it means Jacklin return

Also the news of the attacks by Bin Ladin on Iraq and Egypt Churches is known and you can try Google for them, believe me I'm not allowed to post any links. ours were last Christmas and he killed 23 instantaly.

yet, you or I or anyone can not condemn all Muslims for that, but I must admit that many Muslims in Egypt and Middle East are extrimists, and they use criminal methods.

I love Muslims, and everyone, because it's a sin no to love, Jesus gave a direct order to love our enemies,
and I hope you understand that I only said why there is extrimists while there is normal Muslms, It's wrong to say a religion followers are bad, but like any community there is bad and good people, I hope the good Muslims win.

and in eaither cases I don't admit Mohamed is prophet, and Muslims don't admit that Jesus is the God, but we the Christians are ordered with no doubt to love everyone including Muslims.

Ramy, are you talking about posting scripture quotes or are you talking about posting links to websites? Big difference. All members can post scripture citations, but posting links to websites requires the fifty post minimum and administrative permission.

Are most Muslims terrorists? - ChristianAnswers.Net

With so many terrorist acts committed by people calling themselves Muslims during the last 30 years, it is understandable that many non-Muslims might be confused. Are most Muslims terrorists, or terrorists in training?

Our friends at Frontiers have a great deal of experience with Muslims. They are a Bible-believing, international Christian group that has worked for many years with huge numbers of Muslims worldwide. From their abundant experience, they report: "The only good Muslims are most Muslims… The overwhelming majority of Muslims are peace-loving, hospitable people." (See "Why should Christians love Muslims?" and "How can I as a Christian woman befriend Muslim women?" for more information.) Most other Westerners who have taken the time to get to know Muslim men and women agree with these statements.

Terry Madison, U.S. President of Open Doors, a Christian ministry that also deals with thousands of Muslims, says Christians should not think of all Arabs as terrorists. "Most of them are decidedly not terrorists; they are victimized as we are by the actions of a radical few. Imagine what it must be like for Arab Americans today. They bear suspicions and anger, frustrations and hatred of many of our fellow American citizens. If we create an enemy image of the Arabs and the followers of Islam, it is impossible for us to love them. If we hate them, it will be impossible for us to be motivated to share the Gospel with them." [September 12, 2001, Mission Network News]

Muslim extremists make up only a fraction of the Muslim world, yet they receive most of the attention because of the terror they cause. Would it be fair to equate Christianity with such “Christian” marrings as the Branch Davidians of Waco, Texas (David Koresh) or Jim Jones of The People's Temple?

Are you aware that Muslim people often mistake Madonna, MTV, and Hollywood films as being “Christian” just because they come from America, a Christian nation? Most Christians are horrified when they learn of such misconceptions, and likewise it is similarly unjust to label all or most Muslims as extremists or terrorists. Our Muslim neighbors are often just as horrified at such atrocious acts of violence as we are, yet they are the brunt of threats and attacks after each incident of terrorism floods the media.

Rather than strike out at Muslims in anger, Christians must be held to the higher standard, Christ's standard, of loving them. And by your love they may see Christ reflected in you and come to a personal encounter with Jesus. Although unreported by the media, there is evidence that God is moving mightily among Muslims and drawing them to Himself. Perhaps God has called you to be His messenger of peace in such a time as this.

Thanks Rizen1 good post!

Further question.

When a muslim replies using "sura x:y", what does "sura" mean?

Are there different versions of the Koran?

I don't think anyone answered your question, so I will go ahead.
They are quoting from their Quran. It is like when Christians say,
Romans 1:2.
Sura is a chapter in the Quran.

I meant links to websites, and I see that I have to work more to be an effective member, I will try as much as I can to participate more.

I love being among you, and I will work harder, thank you so much Spiritled for answering, God bless you.

Most are Not doing evil to others! But they are careful how they deal with those who refuse islam!
but if we belong to a group? We must be counted part of it! the evil that group does? Makes Us just as guilty as those doing it!
We all must be careful of the groups we join up with ?
islam has no Savior or Hope or eternal life! Jesus Christ is the Only one who gave His life for our sins!
He came to free Us of all Bondage and give Us Eternal life! He wants Us living in freedom , Love and Faith ! religions control people ! Whoever starts them , is who the people who serve it Follow!
We Hear our LORD JESUS and Follow Only HIM !

We do Not have a Religion to follow! We have a One on One relationship forever More! It is Between a Father [God] though Jesus Christ and a Child!

Are all muslims terrorists? Well if they follow the Quran they are. Allah excepts muslims to fight against and kill all infidels.

Muslims are only people who bring their hatred and "special requirements" to europe and other countries where they move.
Another thing is that while many claim to be peaceful no one knows how much they can support terrorism with their money while living in non-muslim country and making a good living.

No one really knows but i know lot of hateful muslims and i know they are too suffering by their religion.

I hope people open their eyes before its too late so that future generations can live in peace without fear of religious violence and opposition in our countries.

Its enough bad what kinda punishments islam has in stock for those living in muslim countries who break their laws.

hey jari, it seems like yet another case of tunnel vision. you see muslims as the only ones with "special requirements"? wow. look around and maybe you'll see a sikh sporting a turban (that's just one thing i could think of from the top of my head). and like you claim to know many 'hateful' muslims, know that there are many peace loving ones out there as well (some of whom i know rather well).there's a big difference between islam and islamic extremism friend, there really is.
