Are most Muslims terrorists?

hey jari, it seems like yet another case of tunnel vision. you see muslims as the only ones with "special requirements"? wow. look around and maybe you'll see a sikh sporting a turban (that's just one thing i could think of from the top of my head). and like you claim to know many 'hateful' muslims, know that there are many peace loving ones out there as well (some of whom i know rather well).there's a big difference between islam and islamic extremism friend, there really is.

Problem is you cant know the different between extreminist and pacifist. The guy who blew him self up in sweden while ago was nice person to everybody.

Many people have been quoting the Quran out of context in an effort to show that Islam promotes violence. A recent op-ed piece by Cal Thomas is a high profile example.
This is pure nonsense. Thomas and others doing this are taking selected passages and reading them completely out of context to support whatever argument they wish to make. I can do the same thing with the Bible.
Here are some choice passages from the KJV Bible which when read in isolation makes the Bible appear to be a primer for evil:
1) In Leviticus 25:44-46, the Lord tells the Israelites it’s OK to own slaves, provided they are strangers or heathens.
2) In Samuel 15:2-3, the Lord orders Saul to kill all the Amalekite men, women and infants.
3) In Exodus 15:3, the Bible tells us the Lord is a man of war.
4) In Numbers 31, the Lord tells Moses to kill all the Midianites, sparing only the virgins.
5) In Deuteronomy 13:6-16, the Lord instructs Israel to kill anyone who worships a different god or who worships the Lord differently.
6) In Mark 7:9, Jesus is critical of the Jews for not killing their disobedient children as prescribed by Old Testament law.
7) In Luke 19:22-27, Jesus orders killed anyone who refuses to be ruled by him.
Context is important, of course, and many of these seeming cruelties disappear when read as such. However, this would not stop a Christian terrorist from interpreting the Bible in a manner necessary to concoct a religious justification for unspeakable horrors, as Pope Urban II did, for example, when he preached the First Crusade in 1095 or as many American preachers did when they used Leviticus to defend slavery.
Political and religious extremists have abused Islamic, Jewish, or Christian scriptures continuously throughout history. Cal Thomas, a man who claims to be Christian, would do well to learn something of his own faith s scriptures and history before accusing Islam s Quran of promoting violence.

just saying.

just saying.

So, because israelites were commanded to take promised land by force we should say exterminist islam is ok too? Or that any religion violence cant be condemned? Because some so called christians also did crusades?
These Christians who did crusades were obviously in err because its clear to us christians that God doesnt want us to use violence but contrary its way of peace, truly.
Anyone reading NT writings should see this.

The old testament wars are for that time only. This can be seen by reading the entire bible. If you read just OT u might just as well become a Jew but if you read the whole bible you should see the wars in OT are truly past and part of being a Jew and not a Christian.
People who did crusades were no christians at all who held other sources of information as valuable rather than Bible only. They were catholics who also had inqusitions where every protestant christian would be executed, only catholic religion was excepted at those times. So yeah there sure are different kinda of christians on this planet, those who held the bible is utmost value and understand that its way of peace and those who gather their doctrines over the years from different sources and dont really know the bible yet call them self christians.
If u look at the catholic church and what it's done over the history you'll see how its beliefs always changed during time from war, to peace.
And today its gladly for peace.
And not every pope aproved every crusade either but it was the heretical people who carried out such missions.

Then if so called christians who didnt base their belief on bible and did crusades had entirely different religion than protestant christians, then we know true christians have always been peaceful.

What about muslims? Do they have alternative authorities changing their belief? I think only secularism and not practicing their religion to fullest makes a peaceful muslim.
Although in islamic country not every muslim is part of the people carrying out punishment to those who break their laws you can read from news how often people are sententec by their court to prison or death just because they were something else contrary to muslim (christian or gay for example).
Also attacks without any courts are carried out even acid attacks to muslim women for forbidding to marry.
While this may actually be illegal in muslim country the women in islam dont have many rights and i have also heard from muslim who seek to become christians because of lack of woman rights. He was man him self though.

Like others have said in this thread i too dont have anything against peaceful living muslims but its their religion that causes many muslims to behave violently according to their beliefs.

Islam is anti-christ!
2Jn 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

1Jn 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

1Jn 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

1Jn 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

1Ti 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

We do not hate people! We hate there sins! we hate the gods many serve?
We love mankind and want to give the truth to All1 We do not want any to go to hell !

We do Not have a religion , we have an eternal relationship with God as Father ,though JESUS CHRIST our LORD! It is One on One forever more!

Religions rule over people and tell them how they must think and live!
We live under the law of LOVE and Faith !
these are the only laws we are bound by! which He writes in our heart [Spirit]

Go Spirit1st.

Perspective is everything, could not agree more Spirit1st.

1Jn 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

They deny the Christ, they deny the messiah. Why? Because the Koran only has the first five books of the Old Testament. Muslims do not have access to the Major and Minor Prophets. Hence they do not have the messianic prophecies, nor the fulfillment of these prophecies.

If you have read the first five books of the Old Testament then you have read a large part of the Koran! So we are not ignorant of the Koran after all.

oh, how the conversation has veered off from where it all began...all i was trying to figure out is if it's right to view all muslims as bad people????

response

If there are five policeman and one of them beats the daylights out of some guy on the street, and the others watch and say nothing or do anything to stop it, does that make all of them crooked cops?

i'd figure it does, since they're right there and have it in them to stop it. your point being?
