Brother I do not know you according to the flesh, but I do you after the Spirit. The body of Christ is never separated from each other as God's Glory which was given to us by Jesus which causes us to be one, not only with God but with each other. I can sense your heart from right here while sitting in front of my computer. The Apostle said that, "he was not with them in the flesh, but he was with them in the Spirit watching and beholding their steadfastness and order".When that was written Curtis, there was no impersonal internet where people can produce a false witness, and persona's made up for the sake of manipulating others into thinking kindly of them. Who we are... our fruits.... are what we say, and what we do. Online, we only see the carefully crafted words that may or may not reflect our repertoire in real life, and in no way show how our lives are lived in action and deed. I always prefer a face to face with people when communicating, but it is what it is with the internet, and we must do the best we can, and utilize the truth we know from scripture to live our lives and write and speak our words as if Christ is right there with us (because He is).

I have heard a number of people over the years refer to doing church on the Internet via a forum or similar format. I don't think this is the least bit feasible, there is about 1/100th of the accountability and people can put on quite a show. There is too much that is lacking. The web has given those who deal in deception so much more fertile ground to spread their falsehood.
That being said, we can surely be the church on the Internet, I think, it's just different. I'll take something subpar over nothing any day of the week, my heart yearns for much more than what the Internet can ever provide.
Blessings,
Travis
Thanks for the reply! This can be true for some but like everything else there is always the flip side.
Shut ins and those who do not have a good safe church in their area can and do pull up ministries and can live stream or watch video message and download materials. The spirit of God can move just as strong through a service via the net as He can in a nailed down building.
She removed my correction to her commentsShe simply misread the bible. I don't think there is a diabolical intent there.
She removed my correction to her comments
I posted at youtube
i did not accuse her, but just posted the true scripture with the parts she misread in bold.
She removed the comment!
I considered if it was a genuine mistake
But i did feel it was on purpose, she was reading directly the text and yet read twice
They Shall not understand and they shall not see.
Instead of the correct
they shall understand and they shall see.
This would be impossible to do as a mistake, without correcting oneself, after the first shall not;
But to say again shall not?
Then smile in the way she did and
Exclaim about the truth of the words of the bible?
Sadly it has to be on purpose,
For i posted that she had read it wrong along with the correct scripture
And she deleted my comment.
And deleted scipture after being corrected with it.
This is a very graphic example of what dark forces are actually out there using human men and women
Organised and many.
Romans 16:17-18 ¶ Now I beseech you brethren, mark them diligently which cause division and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned, and avoid them. For they that are such, serve not the Lord Jesus Christ but their own bellies, and with fair speech and flattering deceive the hearts of the simple.
The scriptures are full of examples of false teachers being called out and rebuked, and Gods people being warned against listening to them.
You say there is a lot of false information and lies on the Internet about people. Well, let's get a little more specific perhaps? Like a name? Who was being falsely accused that you found out it was a bunch of lies? Dealing in generalities doesn't seem to be helpful in establishing anything here.
Blessings,
Travis
If the Lord tells you through the Holy Spirit to warn a brother or sister, and you dont do it, or you will be held accountable. But if the Lord says nothing to me about someone then indeed its best to keep silent.
Where does the Word say that?
Using a topical concordance, read everything there is about the tongue, and then you can tell me the answer to your own question.
Ahh, I thought you meant the second part of my statement, to keep silent at times. As to the first, you can read B.A.C.'s response if you wish, and I do not doubt there is more, plus the Holy Spirit taught me to in a specific case I had. Plus bashing people and telling them the truth are two different things, sometimes people use the truth to hurt others purposely with no care for the listener, that also is wrong, but if done because you truly care about someone, then it is truly good even if you get a bad reputation for it.Ok I've gone from Genesis to Revelation and looked into every usage of the word 'Tongue' Now where does the bible say to 'bash' one who teaches falsehoods?
