Personal Note from Chad:

I read this book years ago. I know people may be skeptical but watch this video carefully with an open mind to God. It's powerful.

On November 23rd, 1998 Bill Wiese experienced something so horrifying it would continue to captivate the world for over a decade. Bill shares his terrifying experience as described in his book, "23 Minutes in Hell." This powerful message will change your life!

It IS powerful and Needs to be watched.

The Only thing I'd change is to let people know that 'right where you are' you can talk to God through Jesus Christ as ask Him to be your Lord and Savior. And Then let someone know what you've already done. Your heart's belief and your confession to God.

And, yes, it Is scary.

I didn’t watch Bill Wiese presentation cause I’m skeptical of flesh man being taken anywhere in the spirit. I know John was taken in the spirit to the first day of the millennium in the book of Revelation, to be shown what was to come. But hey, this was John, and John was one of God’s Elect. That says a whole lot when you understand who the Elect are.

I know dreams can seem very real and one may awake from a very exciting dream and entertain the thought that they actually went somewhere. It’s not likely in my opinion.

@ Beresheet -- at first I was very skeptical, too. But this guy has everything based on Scripture. And that's what I was wondering about -- just how much Scripture he would be using. And he's trying to lead people to Christ.

Rev. 1:9 - 10 tells us where John was -- on Island of Patmos and it was on 'the Lords' Day'. Nothing there about it being " on the 1st day of the millennium ......"

chapter 4: is when John is taken 'up' and he was in the Spirit and shares with 'us' that which he was shown.

As far as who the Elect are -- 'we' have no clue as to who 'they' are. Only God the Father does.

So -- with Bill Wiese -- God chose to use him to share with others the reality Of hell. But he didn't go out immediately to share all that information. I Would have been doubtful as to his authenticity if he'd tried to soft-peddle eternity / the existence Of hell. But this guy was giving a great deal of Scripture to back up everything he was saying. And a person doesn't make up the horrors that he was sharing.

You Do need to watch his presentation. Of course That is your choice.

Churches today don't mention much about the existence Of or the severity Of an eternal hell. Those realities NEED to be presented. Especially the gospel unto Salvation.

We, the believers who read and accept King James as the true word of God read that there is a Hell, there was a gulf between Paradise side and torment side (Hell) in the story about the rich man and the poor man. No crossing was possible
yet conservation was possible. We also found out once you're in Hell there is no second chance. We all have the truth, we all have free choice and given the opportunity to either accept the Lord's Grace and Merch given to us through His death, burial and resurrection or not. Hell is wider now, as the risen Lord took captured Saints from hell and ascended to heaven with them as all believer's Soul's go upon death. We are saved by faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of our Savior Lord Jesus Christ.

@daltonL -- I'd like to add a bit -- I started out with KJV 50 yrs or so ago -- then discovered the NIV -- liked it because it was paragraph and easier reading. Then heard about the NKJV and have gravitated to that -- I now go between NKJ / ESV and the older NIV.

I too was sceptical, but Bill Wiese not only includes scripture to back up everything he says, he uses stacks of it, verse after verse after verse.

Hell should be seen for what it is, what scripture says it is.

But most importantly he was bring lost souls to Christ.

If you are not sure of watching it due to the darkness and suffering of what hell will be like, watch it for the Bible references he quotes, you will never think of hell as a social gathering as some do.

I too started with the KJV, 30 years ago, but also had the NIV Life Application Study Bible, I now tend to use, KJV, NKJV, NIV, CJB, NJB, I do have 27 translations but those 5 are the ones I usually stick to.

There are errors in the NIV, I think I made some notes at one point, maybe I should look for them sometime.

The newest NIV -- I've heard it isn't worth the paper it's printed on. But all of them probably have Some short-comings.

Any time that any literature is translated from one language to another, there Will be some words added or subtracted. No two languages have the same alphabet. And going from Spanish to English -- sentence structure is different. English and Spanish are the only two languages that I'm familiar with. And with English whole Lots more familiar.

And I know there Are problems with the older NIV. I think that when you're familiar with other versions -- familiar with doctrine -- ya don't notice what's been adjusted. Your mine " reads" what you're used to in the NKJ.

Sue, the LORDS DAY IS THE MILLENNIUM. How long is a day with the LORD? II Peter 3:8. But, beloved be not ignorant of this one thing ,that one day is with the LORD as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The millennium is that one thousand year period of time known as the LORDS DAY, and John was taken to the first day of that 1000 year time period.

I may take the time to listen to Bill’s story. Just don’t have much faith in it being a true intervention of God. The human mind when in a non conscience situation can conjure a pretty good story with very little merit. My thought is, if God speaks to a flesh man or takes a flesh man on a trip, it going to be so overwhelming to that man personally that he won’t be wanting to blab to the world, unless God gives that man precise order to do so.

@Beresheet -- all that That verse is saying is that with God time is irrelevant -- to God one day is like a 1,000 and visa versa. God created 'time' for Us.

Well -- it seems that God Has led him To share his story with all who will listen. You're free to Not listen if you don't want to.

And, yes, Bill Wiese is a real man who it would appear Was given a 'vision' to live through.

How do you cut and paste this ?

Putting a long stream of symbols in front of someone isn't catchy.

II Peter is saying way more than time is irrelevant to God. It’s giving you a ratio of time between flesh man and God. You can take that info and apply it to Gods creation. Other words, for every day that God created, a thousand years past for man. So when God created both male and female on the sixth day, He had been recreating the earth for 6000 years.

So much more was said in II Peter than just time is irrelevant to God. Sue you seem to discount Gods word in key places when you shouldn’t. I know you are well read but you shouldn’t discount what you don’t seem to understand. Peter said, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing. He points it by scribing it in the Bible. That’s means it very important to a Christian. . When you down played the importance of the KEY OF DAVID, that floored me. Out of the seven churches Asia spoken of in Rev. ONLY TWO OUT OF THE SEVEN DID CHRIST FIND NO FAULT WITH, the church of Smyrna and the church of Philadelphia that taught the KEY OF DAVID.

@Beresheet -- re: creation 'days' -- then how do you account for the passage in Exodus 20 -- Ten Commandments -- to keep the Sabbath Day holy -- the Sabbath being the 7th 'day'. Is that Also 1,000 years. I Don't think so. How about 7th Day Adventists -- they only worship on one day a week.

And "'the evening and the morning were the 1st through 6th days." God is powerful enough to have done His creating exactly like He said He did.

If anything I can say to you Sue, throw away your NIV. It is now true scripture, at the minimal 14 scriptures are missing that are in the King James, words are changed out kindly be aware that in Revelation 20 the Lord God makes it so not a word shall be changed nor added. I once had all the missing ones omitted and words that are changed totally changing the makeup of the actual scripture, .Love u all n the Lord.King James was giovenso any and all "plowboys" of old m

Let us keep things straight, the writings of Peter, an Apostle for the JEWS, his words are very important, yet let us all remember that all things done and said while Jesus was on Earth were under the LAW! Jesus came to "fulfill the promise to the fathers" among other things. Paul an apostle to the Gentiles . All scripture is important yet we,gentiles are not under Law we are under Grace and Mercy

@daltonL -- actually , isn't everyone under 'grace and mercy' since the cross. The Old Testament was pointing 'us' to the cross because we're not capable of totally obeying all the laws all the time. Salvation was originally for God's chosen people, the Jews -- however, because they as a people did not recognize Jesus as their Promised Messiah so salvation was extended to the rest of us -- Gentiles. So we are now in the time of the Gentiles , but after the Church is raptured up and out of here, God is going to the the Jews another chance to accept Him. He will work with them for 7 yrs.

Jesus came to fulfill the law. He became the Final sacrifice -- the perfect Lamb of God.
