Can a Christian person have demons?

Now, once again, may I ask who is The “ God” The Prince of This World describe by The New Testament Covenant writings?
The Roman Emperor. (The god of this age.) That's obvious to anybody who thinks about it.

You seem to be conflating two different appellations, though, and that typically leads to confusion.

Thanks,
Rhema

(hence the demon possessed can walk up walls, ..),

You've been watching too many movies again.

It should be Nephilim. Just a tidbit that came to mind. Not all giants are the result of angelic/human sex. Clear the water...see better.

Job 1:6; Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them.
Job 1:7; The LORD said to Satan, "From where do you come?" Then Satan answered the LORD and said, "From roaming about on the earth and walking around on it."

Is Satan a "man of God" (believer) or is he an angel?

Satan the father of lies is also called the "Legion" (many false gods as false apostles false teachers )The spirit of lies is never called a son of God That lying spirit (he or she the strange woman ) is called the son of perdition. The one spirit of lies that works in false prophets, false apostles . . . fallen mankind

Sons of God in the case of Job . Job daily without ceasing seeking after God in prayer . The golden bowl the prayers of the saints .And the spirit of lies the accuser of the brethren accusing the whole body day and night before God he came to accuse .

God chose Job out of all the sinners of the world saved by grace as saints i in order to show the faithfulness of the living word of God that caused the father of lies to flee.

No giants .

No maximum height requirement . God's Grace works in little babies as well as taller mankind . All sizes matter.

Like a older comical song ."Short people ain't got no business to live. Short people have just as much business to live by faith as does the NBA

HOW ?? Me ?? I use my ears. Like anyone else.

So you hear an audible voice telling you things, and this is the Holy Spirit?

(Maybe it's your wife putting the fear of God into you ... :p ;) :joy:  ... humor, baby... deal with it.)

Back to serious things. Truly, you just said you hear the Holy Spirit as an audible voice in the same manner as you listen to birds and music. That's okay with me, I'm just trying to make sure I understand what you mean.

What ways ??

If that bird craps on your head, is that a sign from God? If a certain piece of music starts playing, would that be a sign from God?

Or do you roll the dice by randomly sticking your finger somewhere in the Bible and reading the verse? (I've known people to do this.)

So to be clear, the phrase "different ways" is meaningless.

I'm sitting at my keyboard typing, ... duh... but I don't expect my keyboard to start typing out secret messages from God all on its own.

(Ohhh... you meant that to sound profound... It wasn't.)

My apologies. Perhaps I should clarify. I have visited nearly 500 churches in my lifetime, and have engaged with hundreds of (likely more than a thousand) Christians in personal conversation, and have found that most embrace a kind of very nebulous fuzzy superstition about many things - especially about how God leads them. It's okay to admit that you have no idea how to explain what you mean.

Are you sure you're a Christian? You really do not seem to know God very well....The Holy Spirit can speak in an audible voice that the physical ears can hear...
but He spirit, I am spirit therefore He will, I think, most often speak to us in spirit and you hear is with spirit ears....
Your so called humor was not.....My wife is not the subject of jokes....Unlike some, she IS a lady....leave her out of our conversations. "humor" was nothing but a low caliber jab....
Yes When He speaks I listen, I hear, and truly I do not care if its with my spirit ears or meat ears....Its HIM that's important. I'm really haveing trouble believing you know Him at all......Go harrass someone else with your unbelieving nonsense

16 And suppose the ear says, “I am not an eye. So I don’t belong to the body.” By saying this, it cannot stop being part of the body. 17 If the whole body were an eye, how could it hear? If the whole body were an ear, how could it smell? - 1 Corinthians 12:16,17

Not all Neph'il are giants...But ALL Neph'il are from fallen angels and human women Even the ones of today

Animal genes have at times been tossed into the mix. Those aren't aliens people are seeing. Some have physical bodies. Look at the genetic stuff that's going on nowadays. As in the days of Noah...

Dinosaurs may have been a product of evil angels. I've researched the field for years. There is evidence that dinosaurs existed with humans. I don't believe that the earth is billions of years old. I don't have all the answers, though it's not what I was taught in school.
They found dinosaur blood and dna. Cloning dinosaurs is not impossible. I've heard angels referred to as super-scientists. All this stuff is years in my past. I only think of it anymore as it will come up on forums. I believe the Lord showed me a bunch of stuff to give me a better understanding of things. He seems to have done that with a lot of people.
As always, discernment is a prerequisite.

The gospel according to Garee, once again.

In any case, no matter how tall they were, the fact remains. God told people to kill them.

Some grew to heights of 450 feet tall...Some had wings There were several types of giants and yes....God told people to kill them....They were abominations never intended to exist...just like the modern giants are not supposed to exist.

Just a short reply Sir because I've wiped out my resources for the day....I've already given you one scripture for a Christian having a demon..."Work out your own salvation (deliverance) with fear and trembling..

Oh...so exactly how does working out your own salvation (deliverance) mean any kind of answer to what I posted? It doesn't...

Second point....Nobody is saying that a Christian can be possessed by demons...THAT is impossible....

First, I was answering the OP's question. Second, I said a Christian cannot be demon possessed...are you lumping possession and having an unclean spirit into one thing? Because if you are, you are incorrect.

The "daughter of Abraham' was an unsaved Jew who believed Gods Word...She was a covenant woman and God honored her faith by honoring covenant....Healing was her covenant right just as it is ours

Wrong. Under the Old Covenant, a person "of God" was saved as saved goes under that covenant. You are again lumping two different era's into one, and in doing so, you are wrong. There was a difference between a Jew who walked with God, and those who did not...after all, what do you think Paradise (Abraham's Bosom) was populated by before it was taken away?

..

Again, this was before people had the Holy Spirit.

John 16:7; "But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.

The Holy Spirit couldn't come until Jesus ascended back to heaven.

John 7:39; But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

No one (except John the Baptist) was baptized in the Holy Spirit before Acts 2.

I fully understand all of that...but you appear to be making the same mistake that Admon made...and NOT listening to what I said. I made a very clear differentiation between demon possession and "having a demon," the two are NOT the same thing.
