There is one spirit of error Legion and one Spirit of God, Christ.
We show him by not trusting Christ .
Yoked with Christ our daily suffering of hell is made lighter with a future hope beyond one's last breath .
We pray give us this day our daily bread to strengthen these bodies of death suffering the pangs of hell .
Satan who has no power of his own . . he was not created but as a lying spirit pretended to be the creator as if he was created .
He as Lucifer was to protect the glory of our unseen God not usurp it.
He has no will of his own other than murder all flesh, he hates mankind a creation he loves to create false pride.

He doesn't have to. We TELL HIM WHAT THEY ARE every time we open our mouths. All he has to do is "listen" to our conversation, to find out where our "Buttons" are.
He is the father of lies everytime we open our mouths and lie he is behind it .John 6:44 a murder from the beginning putting his lying words in the mouth of a cain just as he did with the serpent before his legs were cut off.
He tells the lies. . some believe him and pass it on as a oral tradition .

As you can see from the passage in Job that I quoted in reply#26, and by the verse from Jude quoted above, the devil is a spiritual being, also called the Prince of the power of the air (Ephesians 2:2). He is a being of rank and distinction in the spiritual sphere, and if the Archangel Michael would not accuse him, but left that to God to do, then I think we can see that he is a being of power and authority. Jude 1:8 condemns those who, 'speak evil of dignities', referring to spiritual beings, it is worth reading.
The Lord Jesus Christ has been raised far above all power, might and dominion, and every name that is named, and we in Him: so we have nothing to fear where Satan is concerned.

I would agree, many from my experience are still waiting for a sign they seek after. The of the revealing of man of sin (mankind ) (2 Thessalonians 2:3 ).
Some are assuming one man, Hitler or Pope. etc And not the spirit of lies the antichrist through many (antichrists) men plural . . .again another teaching authority other that as it is written in the book of prophecy the Bible
The father of lie has been revealed, the falling away came during the three day and night promised demonstration Many Jews that were hoping thier flesh could profit had believed the lie of the spirit of lies the antichrist .(Satan)
When the veil was rent from the top to the bottom by the hand of God .There was no Jewish King of kings sitting in the Holy of Holy . Satan could no longer deceive all the nations of the world God is a Man.
God used Peter as one of the many many antichrists to show how the deceiver works . Satan the one spirit of the many antichrists (another teaching authority) other than the writen word of God. He worked in Peter giving him words to rebuke God the Lord .
Peter was forgiven his blasphemy against the Son of man, Jesus. Blasphemy against the Father, Holy Spirit not seen . . .cannot be forgiven .
The Son of man Jesus had no power of his own as a prophet sent with prophecy The father gave Jesus words to rebuke the father of lies Saying in effect "get behind me not seen , walk by faith." Not Peter who has no power of his own as the temporal dying things seen

Expanding on post #5, in 2 Corinthians, we learn that Satan can blind the mind, thus he certainly knows something about how the mind works:
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not (4:4)
The word "dignities" is doxa, meaning "honor, praise, worship, good opinion and judgement." It has nothing to do with spiritual beings, but is speaking of "filthy dreamers" who trash all things good.

If one really just ponder with YH about His creations they would see satan been around man for a long long long time.. he know what man is attracted to.....entertainment....look at the sixties shows n look at the peep then look at the 70 the 80 the 90s the peep act just like the shows.. looked at tv lately? See how the peep act??.. I go n watch certain videos just so I can see how much darkness is here...
I stay vigilant I'm not able to get to the streets right now.. this is my Be still and know I am YH how I see got much time and many many reasons to just sit n ponder with Him all through the days and night.. He is a very Loving Father ill give ya that.. but anywho.. ya satan know what man likes cause he studies man.. he wants to get as many as YHs children as he can.. he is blind he can't see that he can't win this war..

Lucifer was created with perfect logic and absolute free will. Don't worry about what Satan's thought processes and motives were, you're not nearly as pristine as he was when God made him.

I see what you are saying,but the question arises,….what is to keep it from happening again,over and over? If what you say is true,and I can’t prove it’s not, there are legions of other angels in heaven who might want to go astray

Only way that could happen would be if I spoke out loud I was going to willfully sin against God to someone. That won’t happen.
