China - The World - Corona virus

A couple of corrections from my post above due to predictive text, I think I should stick to the laptop and avoid using the mobile phone...

I agree with a lot of what you say but what I put above was.

Message should have read....

The reason for adding the above was to take away any thoughts of finger pointing at China only, although none was intentional from the beginning. All of these countries have given reason for concern in recent years, the first six for sure and Iran even in the last week.

I stand by my prayer that all wickedness in all governments, including our own, be exposed. As a government, what ever party, or as an individual in what ever party.

May the light of Christ shine bright in the world.

Churchill's words were were important and true, 'evil prevails when good men do nothing'. Pray, pray, pray, that the evil and wickedness be revealed, according to the will of God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, in Jesus Name, Amen.

Shalom

I agree with much of what Enxu says, China does get a bad press. In years gone by presidents, prime ministers and world leaders would give a very lip service lecture to China's president on human rights before signing a trade deal but over the last 5 years that's been dispensed with. But the issue of human rights whilst overlooked by western governments is one that we should not allow to fade into our subconscious. Our brothers and sisters in China are suffering in ways that should shock us. One reported example In China, they’re closing churches, jailing pastors – and even rewriting scripture

So please can we drop the jingoistic anti this government or that government cries that are stoked up by nationalist politicians on all sides keen to rabble-rouse to bolster their electoral base by promoting suspicion, mistrust, antipathy and a drawbridge mentality? We as Christians (light of the world) shouldn't get drawn into this but instead rise above it and give credit for the good things that China has achieved but at the same time be a thorn in the side regarding issues that that government would prefer to be kept swept under the carpet. Right at the top is the awful treatment of our poor dear brothers and sisters but there are others such as their contribution towards global warming, the environment and the extinction of wildlife species. All of these are likely to cancel the massive achievements of China, how they have transformed their economy from subsistence to a global superpower and in so doing made a massive contribution towards world trade. The work they've done in Africa, a continent largely ignored by the west with the exception of the UK who just exploited it for hundreds of years starting with the slave trade.

Not wanting to stray too far off topic, the west needs to look east at how they have dealt with Corona virus and learn lessons. Had a fraction of the money that western governments spent on the economic consequences of lockdown been instead spent on testing, tracing and isolating those with the virus, Covid would be overcome, businesses and jobs saved. Instead Easter Sunday, no church, we are in lockdown.

Hi Andy, So you want us to drop the jingoistic anti this government or that government, except, it seems, the UK, who you accuse of exploitation and starting the slave trade. No mention of the US who slaughtered their indigenous population to steal their land, and were the country that exploited the slave trade the most, and had a war, because the south was unwilling to give their slaves up. It was the British through Wilberforce, who brought the slave trade to an end. Every nation can look back on actions and decisions they would rather forget, but to point the finger at one nation over and above another, when not acknowledging your own is, I believe the word is, hypocrisy. Not to mention the billions of pounds that the UK has ploughed into Africa over the years through foreign aid and the many millions the population have given through, save the children, live aid, Band aid, water aid and many others. The fact that most charity donations end up in the bank accounts of the despots that rule these needy countries in Africa, cannot be laid at the door of the UK who have done their best to help. bless you

Well Andyindauk, If people stumble on this site and see the disagreement and vitriol here. They may be forgiven in thinking that the light has gone out.

Hi Trevor, according to Google there's currently 195 countries in the world and I'm pretty sure that every one of them has dirty washing that they'd prefer wasn't laundered in public, including the USA.

I highlighted the UK in the context of a comparison of the respective contributions towards the development of the continent of Africa. I give credit that China has achieved more for Africa in the last 30 years than the UK did in over 300 years. The projects you referenced are testimony to the failure of the west's endeavours to improve the lot of the millions of Africans left in abject poverty, literally starving to death, including many of our brothers and sisters.

I take issue with you on the value of these projects, which all do a wonderful work of compassion. Yes, some funds fall into the hands of criminal dictators but all work very hard to try and avoid that.

Anyway, there are several African countries that have transformed over the last 30 years, countries like Tanzania, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Kenya and others. China has played a major role in their development. I'm under no illusion that China's some sort of altruistic paradise of goodwill. No, China's ploughed resources into that continent wanting to further its own interests and ambitions. What I am saying though is repeating that China has made a larger positive improvement in the last 30 years than European empires did in the previous 300, including UK, France, Portugal and Belgium.

Overall the point I was making is that China like all countries has positive and negative and therefore we shouldn't seek to demonize rather exhort its leaders and politicians to treat our brothers and sisters as good citizens and respect their human rights. If we resort to the former, that will perpetuate the view of Chinese leaders that Christians are an enemy of the state and that will make their situation even worse.

If you're interested in this field have a look at the work a charity called China Aid ChinaAid: Walking with the persecuted faithful and please pray for their work.

Hi Andyindauk, I am under no illusions regarding the shenanigans of world politics, we are never told the truth, whether Coronavirus, military intentions, or even the truth of treatment of the populous. Because of this, I have nothing to do with these things. I tend, these days, to take care of matters that I know the truth of, local matters like hungry people and other needs. Scripture tells me that God chose to put these people in power and I believe that he is orchestrating events to bring about prophesy, I, being a mere mortal who could never fathom the mind of God, would never presume his ways. I am called to pray for those in power. I believe, to thwart any wiles of the enemy that wish to try to stop God's will from being enacted. many, I am sure, will disagree with me. That is their prerogative, but I am a servant of the King and until he moves me to do things differently I shall continue to obey him as I believe he would have me do. bless you mate and I pray your walk will be fruitful.

Greetings @Andyindauk

I would really caution against guessing from whence the antichrist and false prophet might arise and allow that to colour our views and dealings with any particular country.

I've heard preachers put forward and passionately preach on other likely sources of the beginnings of the end of the world including the Catholic church and the EU. For that reason I still voted remain :p

One thing's for sure, even second coming experts aren't aware of dozens of Bible passages that unbeknown to us are actually prophetic in the same way that Jesus revealed prophecies to the experts of His day. For example, giving Jesus vinegar to drink,
They also gave me gall for my food, And for my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink. Psalms 69:21 NKJV
Who at the time would have thought that was a prophecy? I do know that when it's closer the unfolding events will be unmistakable.

We as Christians need to focus more on the here and now and concentrate on being that light of the world.

Andy, I didn't make any comment whence the antichrist and false prophet might arise, I did however generalise on the final battle suggesting Russia, Rosh as the bear from the north and China from the east.

Allow me to share my thoughts regarding these latter days, based on what Jesus said.

Matthew 24:4-8 (NIV2011)
4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you.
5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many.
6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.
7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.

Mark 13:5-8 (NIV2011)
5 Jesus said to them: “Watch out that no one deceives you.
6 Many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am he,’ and will deceive many.
7 When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.
8 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains.

Verse 8 is one of the most important verses for the period we are looking at, end times as we know are the last 2000 tears, latter days are towards the end of the period.

Jesus uses a wonderful description here, he quotes many things that will happen towards the end, but also says the end is yet to come.

A pregnancy as we know is around nine months, the nine month period any woman knows, any nurse or doctor knows, is divided into three periods, each of approximately three months. Now the nine months and the three almost equal periods are not important time wise, but the three stages of a pregnancy used by our Lord is very important. As we know the first three months of a pregnancy little is seen, the second three months a lot more is seen, and the final three months continues from the second until the birth pains, or birth pangs. When the birth pangs start it is near the end but the end is still to come.

I believe that the pregnancy stage started, was conceived on 14 May 1948 when Israel became a state again. The initial period of the pregnancy is the little shows, it wasn't until the late 1950's early 1960's that things really started to change, free speech, free sex, flower power, anything goes, including clothing getting shorter and shorter, tighter and tighter. There have always been wars, but then started rumours of wars, increase in earth quakes and pestilences, famines and earthquakes which statistically have become more frequent and more severe.

We saw the Berlin wall come down, we have seen China grow, in 1967 there was the 6 day war, Israel was surrounded on all sides, their military and military availability was a fraction of those that surrounded them but miraculously they won.

As the period of pregnancy ran from the second part to the third we have seen massive changes, all confirmed by scripture, there will be a hardening of hearts, children will be disobedient to their parents, man will go with man and woman with women, there will be a form of Godliness without its attributes. People will be lovers of themselves not a lover of the one true God.

There is so much more as the period, described as a pregnancy continued.

Romans 1:26-32 (NIV2011)
26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones.
27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.
28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done.
29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips,
30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents;
31 they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy.
32 Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.

2 Timothy 3:1-7 (NIV2011)
1 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.
2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,
3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good,
4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—
5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.
6 They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires,
7 always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.

But as Jesus said...

We are without doubt in the final stages of the pregnancy, time is running out, the birth pangs are active, all the items relating to the birth pangs are visible now.

We don't have to listen to preachers claiming this or that, it is all in scripture.

As for Europe, I am aware you are referring to the statements regarding the second Roman Empire, whether this is right or wrong is debatable, it does reflect such by their way of controlling and governing. As for myself I vote 'out', and looking how they still try everything they can to control the UK, I still feel we are better out of the European union. But that is another topic I think.

Regarding your final comment Andy, We as Christians need to focus more on the here and now and concentrate on being that light of the world. I agree with your comment, but also know scripture, all scripture, as been given so we know God's will, this includes the past that reflects the future, this means now, but it also means the fulfilment of prophesies in these latter days, birth pang days, close to the end days, definitely we are into the latter days of the pregnancy Jesus used to describe these times.

We are to keep our eyes on Jesus, we are to keep our lamps trimmed and filled with oil and be ready at all times for His Return in Glory. We are to love one another as He loves us, we are to work to bring others to Jesus, the pandemic, increase pestilence, gives us opportunities, people are frightened, many frightened for their life, many die without coming to know Jesus. The harvest is ripe brother but the workers are few.

Shalom

showing your age, young fellow, with that sort of terminology!
When I was young Br Bear, because of my antisocial life style, I didn't think I would get past forty, then I got to fifty, by then Jesus had found me and I gave my life to him, now I'm eighteen months off eighty and hoping I at least make the next eighteen months. I have other terminology's from my past I wouldn't dream of using but that's another story. Bless you bro.

We are about to be subjected to a medical tyranny. It's the nwo agenda. We will only have to suffer it for a short time. The Rothschilds can not win. Satan told them he will defeat Jesus in the coming battle. THEY BELIEVED THE DEVIL. That is there undoing! HE IS COMING BACK AND SOON. And thank god for that.... we cannot govern ourselves as we thought we could... we need god.. we need Christ. Just before the lockdown god sent me some horrible visions... And terrible feelings .. they subsidised for only a week or so... then the lockdown happened. Jesus will be back with us soon after he has kicked satans butt. And he will. Praise to the lord. We all gonna have to suffer in the mean time. STAY STRONG MY BROTHERS ANS SISTERS! WE GONNA BE JUST FINE JESUS LOVES US ALL AND HES GONNA LOOK AFTER US ALL. STAY STRONG MY BROTHERS xxx
