The denial of Jesus is the betrayal of our deepest self.
We are in Thessoniki supporting the Christian work.

Most people who reject Christ probably do so for some reason that can be found in the Bible. You might be able to add to them, but here a few.

Ignorance

Moral issues

I try to remember that even to the last breath Salvation is available to all, and that my prayers are that all might come to Him, though I know this will not be the case for many who will turn away, even in the face of so great a Love as Our God has for the world. So, even in the telling in whatever that might be, to those who reject Him, I try to love them just as He loves me.

Scientists rightly teach what science discovers. I would not choose to live in a society where this were not the case. I personally do not feel my faith to be challeged by science and its seeking after scrupulous ojectivity.

Chad I have to ask; have you ever been an atheist? I have been and what drove me to atheism was the church and the attitude "We Know It All". I now believe that science is the study of Creation. I may be wrong, I don't think Jesus ever won the heart of a person via argument. In fact I don't think Jesus ever argued a point. When asked "Are you the king of the jews?" he simply replied, "So you have said". I don't think He ever argues a point. He does not have to, and I do not believe His followers have to. The Pharisees often asked for a sign, for proof. He never performed for them, He never proved Himself. He just acted. Even when John the Baptists disciples inquired if He was the Messiah He replied,"Tell John what you have seen". He never argues a point. I think argument is the world's way, Satan's way in fact. "And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of any tree of the garden?" "And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:for God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as God, knowing good and evil."

I hope you don't mind rawprawn. Saw the post and had to put my two cents in. There's a second part to what Jesus did. Argue no. He presented them the truth, and allowed them to come to whatever conclusion they desired. The truth once presented stands by itself you either accept or you don't. The choice has always been ours to make.

Your discovery that human life is real and that you are alive is a positive first step. But the philosophical question that you are pondering and asking has some major flaws. First every person that is living has some inate knowledge about whether God is real or not. Second I too many year ago was a Christian, and believed in God with my whole heart. But, the majority of Christians who claim that God allows evil for some greater good, is just proof of apathy. Many Christians are guilty of apathy. That God will sort it out has been uttered by many people in the US since I can't remember when. Guess what. He doesn't. The idea that God has a personal relationship with you becauase you praise him, is philosophically wrong.

War, murder, rape, domestic violence adulty. The list is too long. Man fall from grace, and his temptations are in my opinion a constant, and never wavering. The devil wins more battles against Jesus and God than the other way around.

I was a good student, worked hard all my life, saved, gave to charity, cherished my girlfiriends, cared for my family, was pleased with my friends. I went to church. And God's children, you and and everyone made good friends with Satan. I have lost freedoms, family members have stolen, cheated lied in the name of Hollywood corruption, fiancées has slept around on me, cheated me since I was a boy. This phenomena that you talk about, God is nature.

Could we be evolved from monkeys? You bet we could. Because God has not operated within your spirit or anyone else on this planet ever.

Many believers in God say what you say. That we have feelings is proof of God. No question you say. That we a brain is proof of God.

But his children are up to no good. Shame on you for indulging in the pleasure that God gave you. That's satan work. He loves pleasure.

I have been ripped off by more people, women, CEO, corrupted companies, and yes even Christians. Your idea of God is flattering. But not believable. Humans like dogs learn at a young age to steal, cheat and lie. I have a dog that fools me into earning its trust. Its tears the room apart destroying the entire room looking for food.

I feed that dog choice meat and cheese. Get real. George Carlin would have laughed at you, if you said "The beauty of God" God is one mean dude. LOL

What's your point being here? It's obvious you DO believe GOD because you came here offering your opinion in a Christian community to do what, persuade us against believing in Jesus? Nonsense. You said a lot of foolish things, and you will unfortunately reap what you sow. Can the created correct the Creator? Can a man fully comprehend ALL of GOD with his minute understanding and ability?

1. What happened 2014 years ago that the entire globe began it's official calendar?
2. Try denying any and all miracles Christians encounter around the world this day and of past times
3. Try to dispute any 100+ fulfilled biblical prophecies
4. Try to disregard all the scientific artifacts of the original biblical manuscripts
5. Try to explain how of billions of stars, galaxies, planets, comets, asteroids, etc in the vast infinite space, there's this tiny blue dot called Earth and the only thing with life and full of life. Did I mention the Sun is 400x larger than the moon and 400x further away from Earth than the moon, yet both proportionally same size when you look at them in the sky? Did you know if earth moved a single hair off its axis it would annihilate everything on earth? Gain some knowledge, learn.
6. Try to dispute all the many end times signs in the Bible that Jesus mentioned including in the Gospels and book of Revelation. All of these things are happening before our eyes.

Perhaps it helps when we remember that these 'annoying atheists' are lost souls who need the Saviour.

This leads to a very important point: I have read (and I firmly believe) that there are very few true atheists; many of them are wounded theists. They have what they believe to be good reasons to be angry at God and they see professing Atheism as a way to get revenge.
