However, you are not in possession of greater information that would have you understand my warning to swap hats.
I've been in Private Message (PM) with this brother, and we have come to a loggerhead on this subject. I could have easily continued the PM with him but felt moved to discontinue the conversation because of something he had shared on another post, which you might be aware of or not. Which you are welcome to research. (Not my place to say.)

Regardless, to use and improperly at that my testimony, is enough to anger me, and why I warned him of what might happen if he continued in this vein.

When it comes to demonic attacks and getting counseling for that, I strongly urge those of you that have experienced these things to talk to people who are predominantly in the ministerial field

Both pastors and Priests work together on such things, and there are lay people or deacons that also do the same.

never try to tackle one of these things by yourself unless the Lord has directly LED you to do that .

demons follow I'll hierarchy type pattern. So the person that you make in charge of the team if you're in a team or if there's just two of you the person that's in charge is the only one that the demon will listen to. If you are working in a team and you acknowledge one person as the leader and then you yourself try to cast The Demon out he will more than likely laugh at you.

Something that is important to remember is that the primary focus of the demon is to separate you from God, even if it's for one second.

If you do choose to get into a team that is involved with removing the darkness from people or places you should always have a psychiatrist on hand because there are natural sicknesses that imitate. Or that the darkness imitates the sickness

And still there are other things that take place that are not sickness nor are they demons themselves but they are people who practice things like Transcendental Meditation and yoga and spiritual out of the body experiences, this is why having a really good gift of discernment is very important to be able to distinguish between all this stuff.

For the scoffers. There isn't much I can do for you. I know it isn't your cup of tea but just because you don't believe in it doesn't mean it doesn't exist

To be clear, His disciples water baptizing others in Jesus's name is not John the Baptist's water baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.

Mark 1:4 John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.

This is how believers in Jesus Christ gets their remission of sins.

You cannot accept non-spiritual atheistic answers from worldly medical people to give a true explanation of real spiritual events.
The above pseudoscience do not explain the dread nor the terror that accompanies this night time paralysis.
These are the same people that scoff at miracles and healings by the power of God; and who also scoff at the acceptance of the spiritual realm of angels, gods and God in the Heavens.
I have experienced the presence of a frightful evil being in my bedroom at night - paralysed by fear unable to even breathe, knowing that some evil being was in the room.
And the coldness that also comes with this.
This has nothing to do with any hoo-haa gobbledegook about sleep paralysis due to wine or some biological cause.
The fact that this spiritual experience of paralysis through fear of an evil presence is worldwide and across all cultures gives credence to a common spiritual experience to all humans.
It is worth noting that the paralysis is brought about by a sense of dread and fear of something evil being in the room.

That does not discount the possibility of an actual demonic attack.

Medical science has a knack for guessing in the realm of the unknown and stating it as if they are definitely sure when there is no way to prove one way or the other.

Since people lose self control and fall backwards while some will testify to being paralyzed and cannot move when they are on the floor in slain in the spirit phenomenon, believing it to be the Holy Spirit falling on saved believers in doing that to them, I know that was not the Holy Spirit. One of the fruits of the Spirit is temperance which is self control and the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets as God is not the author of confusion.

So losing self control or paralysis can be a result of a demonic attack as this was prophesied to occur in these latter days

I believe in demonic attacks. Sleep paralysis is a bizarre thing to go through and many people who go through it will tell you there is no discounting the entity. It is so bizarre because it is like a crossing ground where someone is attacked by an angry spirit and what appears to be an alien ufo attack all at once. It's like a Satanic angel alien with spirits that attack. It's indescribably bizarre and frightening to people who get it chronically.

Medically of course the spiritual side is explained that the whole thing is caused by the disruption of REM sleep. During an episode of sleep paralysis the person is said to break REM and enter deep sleep while they are still semi-awake. This causes the person to wake up, but remain paralyzed. They also go through a vivid waking dream right in front of them, or rather a nightmare (the explanation for the entity).

Drugs and alcohol are known factors of causing sleep paralysis. Obviously from a medical viewpoint the seditives can last into the night and cause the disruption of REM sleep and an onset of a sleep paralysis episode. Also from a spiritual point of view the drugs or alcohol may give an opening for these entities to attack.

I take special note to Revelation 3:3 in these situations. To learn to literally rip yourself out of sleep paralysis and get out of the demons grip and into the waking world. It is quite a struggle and a strength to break out of this sleeper hold. To get out of bed and start praying.

There are some issues that are not being looked at also I'm not saying that sleep paralysis doesn't happen because it does but there are also causes for it that are not natural either.

People who have played around with Ouija boards especially Christians that do so think of it as a fun Pastime sometimes but then they get caught up in the spiritual side of it and are attacked relentlessly and it becomes a big issue.

But there is another factor that is being skipped over at the moment that has to do with people who participate with the dark arts. I've spent a number of years fighting against such people who feel it's okay to do whatever they want whenever they want to do it. And find pleasure in tormenting other people.

In the spiritual work that I've done through the Lord I've had the experiences of working with women who have had issues with guys that are into witchcraft. They themselves will experience some kind of sleep paralysis as you call it but instead it's something else completely and they are unable to fend off a spiritual sexual attack. I know the stuff sounds like sci-fi but it's quite real.

Going back to the gift of discernment in my personal opinion it's probably the most important gift out there.

I also had an experience years ago now with a demon. I was asleep in my bed and this black shapeless mass hovered over me and came lower and lower. I couldn't move it was like I was paralyzed and I remember having a hard time breathing as well. I couldn't do anything but cry out the name of Jesus and the thing lifted off of me and disappeared. I know beyond the shadow of a doubt it was very real and not a dream. It was the scariest thing to ever happen to me.

For a long while I slept with a Bible on my bed after that happened. I moved out that house over 13 years ago and the house itself has been demolished and we have prayed over the land and given it back to God.

I am no longer afraid these days because I know who I am in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My advice to you would be to read the Bible and do like I did just lay it on your bed up by your head when you sleep. Also pray God's hedge of protection around you while you sleep. He never sleeps nor slumbers. God is always there watching over and protecting you.

Fighting against cults, Satanists, and their ilk has been much of my spiritual walk with the Lord.

When they call upon demons, to do their work. The demons do it but not because they want to, they do it because they're forced to.

It's a strange relationship to be honest. Those that are involved with the magic think that the demons are doing it willingly. But they cannot stand humans.
And as soon as there's a slip up, the demon will out and out attack the one that called it in the first place.

Some years ago, a lady I know decided that she was going to go out with a guy that practiced witchcraft. But when he wanted to do some really strange things with her ( involve her with the witchcraft) she refused and tried to leave him.
He cast spells on her and demons would attack her at night while she was trying to sleep. A friend of hers that knew about me, contacted friends of mine. And they contacted me.

I spoke to her briefly on the phone and told her to go to bed that night and not worry about it, that it would be taken care of.

I pray to the Lord and sent angels to her house to protect her. And as it turned out the demons ended up attacking the guy that sent them.

She was never bothered again.

Afterwards I talked to her about the Lord and what was done for her.

Prayer and letting the love of Jesus fill you are the two most important things anyone can do the protect themselves from the darkness

This woman rings all the wrong bells. Why was she going out with a stranger in the first place? Was there fornication involved. Was she planning to marry him? From the information here I am inclined to side with the male. He is the one who deserves to be saved, not this woman.

She sounds like a Delilah, who betrayed Samson. "Tell me the secret of your power Samson." Then she cries, "The Philistines are coming, the Philistines are coming." Then she tells the Philistines his secrets, she accuses him of being a witch so that they burn his eyes out and damn him to grinding a millstone.

In the end Samson gets his revenge though. By if he ever decides himself to call upon the Lord, then he will reverse the whole situation in one final burst of power.

2 That thou mayest regard discretion, and that thy lips may keep knowledge.

3 For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil:

4 But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword.

5 Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell.

6 Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them.

7 Hear me now therefore, O ye children, and depart not from the words of my mouth.

8 Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house:

9 Lest thou give thine honour unto others, and thy years unto the cruel:

10 Lest strangers be filled with thy wealth; and thy labours be in the house of a stranger;

11 And thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed,

12 And say, How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof;

13 And have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me!

14 I was almost in all evil in the midst of the congregation and assembly.

15 Drink waters out of thine own cistern, and running waters out of thine own well.

16 Let thy fountains be dispersed abroad, and rivers of waters in the streets.

17 Let them be only thine own, and not strangers' with thee.

18 Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth.

19 Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love.

20 And why wilt thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger?

21 For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord, and he pondereth all his goings.

22 His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins.

23 He shall die without instruction; and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray.

Proverbs 7:1-27

7 My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee.

2 Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye.

3 Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart.

4 Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman:

5 That they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words.

6 For at the window of my house I looked through my casement,

7 And beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding,

8 Passing through the street near her corner; and he went the way to her house,

9 In the twilight, in the evening, in the black and dark night:

10 And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart.

11 (She is loud and stubborn; her feet abide not in her house:

12 Now is she without, now in the streets, and lieth in wait at every corner.)

13 So she caught him, and kissed him, and with an impudent face said unto him,

14 I have peace offerings with me; this day have I payed my vows.

15 Therefore came I forth to meet thee, diligently to seek thy face, and I have found thee.

16 I have decked my bed with coverings of tapestry, with carved works, with fine linen of Egypt.

17 I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.

18 Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning: let us solace ourselves with loves.

19 For the goodman is not at home, he is gone a long journey:

20 He hath taken a bag of money with him, and will come home at the day appointed.

21 With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him.

22 He goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks;

23 Till a dart strike through his liver; as a bird hasteth to the snare, and knoweth not that it is for his life.

24 Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth.

25 Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths.

26 For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her.

27 Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.
