Greetings all,
I see a little confusion and a touch too much lack of gentle patience with one another, as well as forgetfulness regarding both who we are and our position, not only amongst each other as fellow members only but also as pertaining to those who were once called and suffered and by God's kindness to us a long time after, provided us with words, albeit in a foreign tongue, that we now dispute and consider ourselves esteemed above that which we really are in the fullness of the revelation of God and Christ and the mystery that has already been bestowed upon those who believe, not through any greatness of their own but surely because of His great loving kindness cHesed toward men, for His glory and praise, due only to Him.
None of us can claim truthfuly at all, to be equal to those whom the Lord chose for the establishing of the Church, neither can we claim to be as those who were prophets prior to the birth of Christ and His subsequent death and resurrection. He has given each severally as He will, but that is for the building up of each other, letting each esteem another/others more highly than ourselves, remembering the grace bestowed upon us as unworthy sinners, for whom Christ died; our gifts received being something begun before us, pre-ordained; considering ourselves as unprofitable servants, if indeed we are willing to wash the dirt off each others feet before serving the food for all to eat, provided by Him for His Body, whom we are all invited to become, by grace through faith.
Let us not devour one another.
I hear the need for questioning the concerns, of one suggesting to be 'on par' with the Apostles and Prophets.
I also understand that we are not lacking according to what God has given.
Too often we remain feeble and hide under tables, where we should be turning the world upside down, seeing many come to Christ and His Life.
For those who are bolder, do we really hold up His light or a light upon the Way, or do we shine a spotlight upon ourselves... a question we must all consider as we consider our ways... and do we really meet up to the fullness in all areas or simply allow distant modern technology to appear before men what we might not actually be; a bravado that nobody can really know the truth of.
One thing is certain, we shall know them by their fruits, both the accusers and the accused... but always remember to hold judgement first upon ourselves in all honestly and zeal, that we might be of good conscience before the Lord at His coming.
Post in Peace
Jesus is the Lord
Bless you ....><>
