I honestly do not know if you did or did not.

I did however post some Scripture that we can all do well to keep in mind if others do say anything that might otherwise ruffle our feathers, as well as the portion you did not quote in your kind reply to me.

So why repeat the unfounded accusations of others? I’m not being “unkind” for asking for proof of the false accusations that have been brought against me. I am just asking for proof.

I don't think i was repeating anything specifically, although i can see how that may be read.
I was basically laying things out on the table and giving a general encouragement that we don't devour one another at the same time, enough caution for any who might look and consider honestly and see if there was/is any thing that they might need to take before the Lord before continuing in any wrong direction, if that is what they decided, about themselves.

As i suggested to you, did you read any other bits of what i wrote and the Scripture portions i put up?

It can get rather tedious reading through bad interaction on a forum which is here for fellowship in God's love, so i stick my head on the line sometimes and try to still the troubled waters before they get out of control... and also to try to help each and everyone remember that TalkJesus is about fellowship AND some very basic things for living the Life online or offline.

Sure, I read the bits you put up, and had no issue with them. The issue I had, and have had, is with those who bear false witness against me.

I believe I have a right to ask them to prove their false accusations, else others come along and repeat them.

And I’m not here to argue either, I’m here to edify. Peace

I start reviewing a new thread, and what do I find? Members who I can only assume are professing believers in Christ Jesus, Yeshua HaMashiach, picking at each other like little children who know no better on how to behave in public. Anyone with children will know what I'm talking about, and anyone reading this thread from the beginning can see the truth of the comparison.

The thread title: Every good gift comes from God

Rather than speaking of how Great and Wonderous our God has been to us, with examples of praise, what does one find? Ridicule, Animosity...need I go on? Is there one Word of Praise of our Heavenly Father?

Is it so hard for us to look over previous slights, or failings in others that we cannot focus for a moment with words of praise for all to read about our God?

You shame yourselves, me too, and is why I compare your behavior to children, because I have read the writings you all have posted elsewhere, I would have thought surely, they will rise above petty differences and join together in sharing uplifting Words about how Great our God is and how much Good He has done for them!!!!

I feel moved to give this thread a face lift. So, the following suggestion that I leave up to you to decide.

How about I delete everything but the thread opening including this post and see if we can post a good gift God has given us? Maybe, how He has moved in our lives that was totally unexpected for which you are grateful for!

I await your responses to my suggestion.

I took my time to read everything you were referring to.

I have found over the years that many people, including those who call themselves Christians, act strangely when I have told them of my conversion experience. When I tell them of the anointing of the Holy Spirit, how I felt when I was illuminated by the glory of God; so much so that I had to go look in a mirror to see if I could see the glow. Or how my body felt like it was weightless, like I was floating on air, or on a cloud. Or the great feeling of God’s love, joy, comfort, and peace that came upon me at that same time. And even more amazing, how the words of God came pouring into me like a clear mountain stream of Living waters flowing down from on High. And with those words came also an understanding into the written words of God.

But I have found that when you tell people what God has done for you, and the gifts He has given you; somehow they think you are either crazy, or that you are just boasting on yourself. But to me, not to tell people from where I received all these, is not to give God all the praise, honor, and glory. After all, not giving God the credit is what got Moses in trouble with God.

This thread is not about me, nor about Moses, but it is knowing where your salvation comes from. It is about knowing that the grace of God is a gift, the faith to believe is a gift, the imputed righteousness of God is a gift, and all the many gifts of the Holy Spirit are also gifts from God. So there is no room for boasting on our part.

It is written “A man can receive nothing except it be given to him from Heaven.”

And it is also written that “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of Lights.”

So don’t worry if people think you are crazy, or if they think you are being boastful for saying you have received the free gifts from on High. Let them know where those gifts come from, and give the gift Giver all the praise, honor, and glory due His Holy name.
