Everyone wants a quoted scripture of "where you got it from"; it comes right out of the red, white and black.
I don't quote these exact scriptures for a reason; in hopes that one will seek Him out; because in doing so one will find Him and more on their quest of truth to prove me wrong. Amen.
What scriptures did Jesus quote? He wrote the new testament with the Word of His Father's mouth; speaking in parables and in Spirit and in truth. Amen.

We can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth. Amen. There is nothing hidden that shall not be revealed. He said, What I have given you in darkness, speak ye in light. What ye hear in your ear, preach from the rooftops. Amen

I love you ALL; but my Lord loved you first.

It would how ever make it a whole lot more simple if you did write out the complete scripture and not quote bits and pieces and run then all together. I believe that this is the reason for some of the confussion.

The body of the message is still very true. How it reads to one , it doesnt read the same to all. For we are at different levels in our faith; we are many different parts in the same Body. So I pray the body of the message isnt lost, because of a difference of opinion that could have avoided by simply the correct word phrases. Amen.

Hey, you know, I just want to let you know that I think you have some good input to offer here on talkjesus. I think we would all benefit if you shared more and was more active in posting. but i have this one bit of advice... many times when you post something, you write in old english and use the word "amen" after nearly every other sentence, and you compare yourself to the suffering servant (Jesus) every time someone disagrees with you. If you would just write your thoughts down to us in a normal, everyday, modern american english without all the fluffy, king james, 'hyper-spiritual' style.. then i think we would all be much more receptive to the thoughts you share with us. as you said about your original post in this thread, i am sure that the message you were trying to convey is a good one that you got from the Lord and if you communicated it in a way that is familiar to a modern evangelical then i am sure you would be not only doing yourself and us all a big favor, but you might be able to better share what God has shared with you.

praise God, for rightly dividing the Word of truth. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, for reproof, correction...
He is in me, I am in Him, we go unto the Father. We are not separate from each other, but have been made one. And, any who has been made one with Him, in Him, by Him, for Him, has also been made one in each other; by Him, for Him. For there is one Body, one Spirit and one Baptism that fitly joins us together. Yes, He has a baptism to be baptized with... it is a supernatural, spiritual baptism, and most have not received it. When one does, you have a testimony to tell, a supernatural testimony. You understand the meaning of... my life is not my own, it belongs to God.

Stop and consider for a moment just what "real" life is. According to men it is what they are able to perceive with the 5 natural senses perhaps adding what they believe they can conclude using their brain power. Rag4acrown, as I see it, in her manner of speaking here, is coming closer to "real" life as God sees it. Jesus said:

"I am the way, the truth, and the life..." John 14:6

That is real LIFE... in other words: Jesus is real Life.

If we use too much of man's ways to define our purpose and not enough of God's Way, how "real" are we? To God would we not be dead?

the most spiritual people i know, the most anointed preachers on the planet, do not speak in old english and what appears to be pretense. i said "hyper spiritual" not because the style is actually hyper spiritual, of course there is no such thing as too spiritual, what i meant was a false pretense of a self-deceived notion of spirituality.. a false front of 'biblical' language (using old english and the word "amen" in the third person at the end of every sentence) in order to make ones words seem more inspired than they really are. quoting the bible doesnt need to be, shouldnt be, some attempt to make a posture of loftiness, but to express God in a relatable manner. i dont know who is going to be receptive to old english in this day and age.

all that being said, i do not want to attack rag4acrown. as i said, i think she has a lot of great input here and i really look forward to seeing her post more often. i am not accusing her of being fake or trying to appear holier than thou, i honestly think she is just a bit misguided about how she is communicating and her sense of being victimized.

i myself am very guilty of doing these things in the past, talking in old english on the internet in order to sound biblical (because thats how i thought Christians were supposed to talk) and considered myself "persecuted for righteousness sake" when nothing of the sort was happening. (self-pity) so maybe i am projecting a bit. but the point i was trying to make was that i would like to see rag4acrown post in more common language because i feel she has some great stuff to share and i hate to see her be rejected because of her style of communicating puts people off and obfuscates her intended message.

People are born blind! But, somewhere along the way are "eyes to see" obtained by some. Just what does it take to enable a person to see?

"Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.
And their eyes were opened;.." Matt 9:29-30

So you are basically the second coming of Jesus, right?

I think the Lord is really doing some great work in your life. I really do. I am sure that you are experiencing some profound spiritual blessings. I can tell by the things you write.

I am just trying to help you to
1) express yourself in a way that Christians will receive, and
2) have a more honest assessment of your place in the body of Christ.

you are but one of hundreds of thousands of people who have been given a special anointing - if indeed you have a special anointing. there is no need to write in old english, Jesus did not talk in old english, no one in the bible talked in old english, the king james bible was written in a language that was completely unknown to the people of the bible. you can, you should, just write and speak in your everyday american dialect. do not say the things that americans say, or think about the things americans thnik about, or do the things that americans do - but speak their language (your language). as Paul said, "to the gentiles become a gentile". you will not only have greater success in evangelizing for the Lord, you will not only be more welcomed into the Christian community, but you will start to know the Word of God better as you begin to understand it in your own language.

No, I am not Him; I am sent forth by Him to tell you of His return. He is coming back with vengeance and wrath. Are you ready? Do you know Him? personally, intimating have a heart to heart relationship with Him?
I encourage you to do so. Seek Him; it is an eternal life; not carnal but spiritual. He has a baptism to be baptized with. Man can not perform this baptism; it is spiritual, it is eternal, it is supernatural. Seek Him. Revolve your life, your very being around Him, He will revolve around your life and become your very being. It isnt about you or me or the guy next door. It is all about Him.
God showed me our heart when we are flesh born. It is as stone, like a dark lump of coal. When we seek Him and began renewing our mind by washing of water by the Word, He ignites that dark lump and it begans to glow. He gives us a heart of flesh. A candle has been lit. We continue seeking Him and Holy Ghost begins to minister the Word of truth to our Spirit. The Spirit craves for more and eventually God makes His ministers a flaming fire.
Now, this is as close to modern day language I can give you. If you still dont understand, it isnt because of style used, but because God has not opened the eye of your heart.

How one talks or speaks is none of our concern. There are many different types of people in this world in which, speak, think and act as different from you or me as any one else. Also I have a scripture for you.
1John 4:17...I am writing the last part out for this is what I wanted to share with you.
Because as He is, so are we in this world.

Perhaps her style is different and if ther Lord needs it to be changed He will do it. Pray and ask God to help you discern what she is saying but an encouraging rebuke ? Love Brother that is what we are commanded to do. ; )

People tend to take the rebuke and judging part way overboard these days as well. It is better to walk in Love and rebuke the devil our enemy then going around rebuking brothers and sisters over all the small stuff that does not even matter.
A believer is better off walking in Love and Forgiveness and letting all the other stuff go by the way side other wise it begins as little bitty pieces of aught and unforgiveness and such and begins to filter out the flow of love and forgiveness and in returns blocks your faith from producing the results you need.
Thats what I am saying :thumbsup:

As we all need to keep in constant developing in Love and Forgiveness. Here is something I like to do. Before you go online or into a store etc. Stopand pray and tell God that you forgive every one in the store or in the forum and that you love them because you know that He is not holding anything against them and that he loves them. Release that power of forgivness and love.
It might sound silly but it helps .

Personally I think the old English is fun and I started out with the King James so all my memory verses are in old English.
When I was a kid I thought God talked that way.

Because as He is, so are we in this world.

I guess some are surprised when they meet anyone who speaks as though they believe it.
Also in John ch 17 the one whom God sent sent the apostles and anyone who hears and believes his word.
So that makes us the one whom God sent.
