Thats not what I said. And this is really going nowhere so.....No it doesn't. Being a sinner doesn't necessitate that one doesn't believe.

I never said I believed he was in the same mindset as Peter and Satan Samson. I believe that Satan knew that Jesus was about to make a sacrifice for the sins of the lost and he didn't want it to happen. Knowing that this was the hardest trial that Jesus was ever going to face, I believe he was giving it his last shot while Jesus was at his lowest ebb. And he was using Peter to do it, Jesus knew this, even though Peter didn't, and he spoke straight to Satan. Well that's my take on it. Bless you mate.Or was he in the same state of mind as Peter or Satan as you believe? There is an obvious change in his attitude
towards his destination.
I said Peter OR Satan as you believe, not Peter and Satan.I never said I believed he was in the same mindset as Peter and Satan Samson. Hi Butch, before I met Jesus, I was neither a believer or an unbeliever, I didn't think about it. When I met Jesus he convinced me, because everything he said corresponded with what had always been in my heart, but society deemed it weakness, leaving me an outcast. It's society that is in unbelief. No it doesn't. Being a sinner doesn't necessitate that one doesn't believe.
You don't have to get aeriated Samson, I believe Jesus said if you can take this burden from me, but not my will but yours. (that is a paraphrase) He was about to get whipped to the bone and stuck on a cross, I should imagine he would be somewhat reticent. but he was obedient to the last. bless you.I said Peter OR Satan as you believe, not Peter and Satan.
Jesus was praying for the removal of his own cross in the garden which is what he had rebuked Peter for hrs earlier. I was addressing the fact that he Jesus
had what appears to be a change of mind between these two conversations as recorded, and why.
Sorry....thought it was pretty simple , confessed or not confessed....no trap....maybe this will work better do you sin?Your name is Born Again . Why dont you allow the Holy Spirit to move in you.
I dont have to ask these questions , because the Holy Spirit already moves in me . I know when those here are trying to trap me into saying things. Do you understand that . Mr Trapper . Lol
Yes I am a sinner. But I confess my sins to the Lord almost daily and through the blood of the Lamb Jesus I am washed of my sinsSorry....thought it was pretty simple , confessed or not confessed....no trap....maybe this will work better do you sin?
Everyone sins , you may not think of it as sin, but sins take place whenever you set something between God and yourself.Sorry....thought it was pretty simple , confessed or not confessed....no trap....maybe this will work better do you sin?
I didnt say you loose your salvation . What i did say was if you strive to be Holy , focus on God .@Bill -- you Almost make it sound like a 'good work' to 'make sure God is Always first'.
So -- first thing in the morning Do take time to read His Word and say "Good morning" to God. But don't be afraid of loosing your salvation if you Don't.
Did i say we practice sin. There is a difference . Between failing , and practicing sin.yet no believer practices sin,,,,and we must understand the difference or we will be lead astray by false teachers
There is a difference between medicine you need and following your cravings@Bill -- my husband was a coffee drinker -- lots of coffee -- so when he wanted a cup he got one -- at church they had coffee in the kitchen -- everyone enjoyed their cup of coffee -- it's not a sin to get a cup of coffee.
So -- instead of saying No to the cup of coffee -- just get the cup and read your Bible as you're enjoying your coffee.
And, yes, there are those who Need that coffee To wake them up -- so Let them get that cup of coffee.
Is a diabetic supposed to be Sure to read that Bible Before taking the insulin needed? Putting God 1st ? Or using common sense and getting the insulin to control their blood sugar.
Did i say we practice sin. There is a difference

You compare apples and pumkins
Hi Sue,Your comment about 'following your cravings' is what bothers me. How about people who simply love coffee -- they've grown up with coffee 1st thing in the morning. They Like the aroma Of coffee. When I think of a 'craving' I 'see' a person hooked on drugs -- their body Craving for their next fix.
With my husband, during his Air Force years -- he drank a lot of coffee. Lots of Long working hours. Then they were doing 3-month TDY's some were in and out of Viet Nam -- that's when the coffee drinking really went up. His nerves were giving him problems. He was up to around 3 pots per day all by himself. He tried to cut back to just a few -- his body went into caffeine withdrawl. Aching legs and head aches. So -- he had to have 4 cups a day at least. Maybe 5 or 6 to stop the legs and head. He did try to work with his body. cutting back as much as possible with the coffee.
I tend to be that way with chocolate. Between that and protein. I do NOT skip meals -- I eat at particular times. But --do Not take my chocolate away.
There's a saying that 'some people are so heavenly minded they are no earthly good'.
You tend to see 'sin' around every corner. And God Does lead us to people to help in some way at times. But there Are those who feel that if they're not out actively doing 'something' spiritual, they are some how not being 'spiritual' enough.
Maybe a lack of security of their salvation?!
