I am open-minded enough to change if I see compelling evidence. But the evidence given so far has crumbled when I have checked it out. All the major players have a history of association with right wing, alt-right or white nationalist groups, not antifa.

I'm not arguing that antifa was not there, I'm saying that there is no evidence that antifa had a role in storming the Capitol.

I don't think it is completely beyond some of the left-wing groups to stir up trouble by impersonating another -- but it does seem unlikely, and I'd like to see some substantial evidence before I believe it.

May I ask @Cactus Kitten, what level of evidence would you need to see to change your mind about what happened on Jan 6?

No, evidence thus far hasn't crumbled to scrutiny, lets be clear. There is a huuuuuuge difference between proof ANTIFA wasn't there, being there is none that exists, compared to the evidence that exists in spades as pertains to one who would rather goad the issue as the antagonist.

To your last question, my answer: My friend who we call "stone" because he's 6'4" solid muscle and serves in the NG when he's not also a volunteer firefighter, was there on January 6th and beyond. He along with his mates slept on the floor of their appointed "barracks" because the Congress were expecting more problems beyond 1/6. To change my mind about the truth of ANTIFA's presence? Would require Stone and his mates having lied to us about ANTIFA's activity. Being he and his mates were on the front line when they arrived.
This is why those who prefer to ignore ANTIFA being in the Capitol on January 6th shall forever and always be wrong.

What a lot of people don't realize about ANTIFA is that they are neither left or right agitators. They can be found at almost any protest gathering, be it left or right, and will attempt to fit right in while promoting violence. They are Anarchists.

The issue with ANTIFA, is sadly that there is no consensus on the left & right for condemning their actions. Though it is more likely condemned by the right, since they have a tendency to be more for law and order. Though (again), the actions on January 6th, seem to show differently. However, in general this is not the case. At least for the moment. Fraud during the election has moved many to wonder if another option should be looked to, especially since very little election fraud investigations are ongoing, and this has many people angry. Though (again ) there are cases out there in a few states are have yet to be resolved. Let's hope something is done, because come the next election in 2 years, don't be surprised if you have the National Guard, and/or Military out in force. Democrats dislike the military, but have no problem using them, and since they're in power, you can be assured they'll use them!

That last problem, I lay at the feed of the Democrats, because they are the ones that are not seeking accountability. Probably because they won the election. Maybe, if the shoe were on the other foot, the Republicans might react the same. (shrug)

Amen! We are indeed citizens of heaven. However, while in this life and world where Satan is lord, we have to contend with what pertains to impacting our lives directly via, leadership and law makers.

JB is the unlawful commander and thief now. There's no getting out from under that. What I think many are doing now is contemplating what happened during the election that JB himself promised was to be rigged, and the refusal of those with authority to overturn the illegal election. Our votes were stolen! A man not qualified to run on the Democratic ticket was let to. Which maybe should have given us our first clue before Biden admitted it himself, that this election was rigged.

Now, maybe the question should be why? Why did SCOTUS' chief justice argue to the point of screaming to the top of his lungs and heard screaming behind closed doors of the SCOTUS chamber, did he refuse to hear Trump's case about voter fraud and election corruption? Why did Mike Pence, the president of the Senate, refuse to exercise his the rights afforded him in that office under the Constitution? And reject the illegal ballots from key states?

Why?

And after we ponder that maybe consider, where will we be at the end of four years? When an illegal election turnout insured the enemy part of this country, the Democrats, were let to obtain majority in our Congress and occupy our White House.

And why, for all the blustering from the right in Congress has not a single member invoked Article I, Section 6, Clause 1 of the Constitution? And against Nancy Pelosi, Mad Maxine Waters, Chuck Schumer, and all RINO's and Democrats who openly commit to sedition, breach of the peace, and treason?

Why?
