But they do. In the OT Bible if children wanted to live long they obeyed their parents. Their parents were allowed to take them out for disobedience.
Ex20:12 “Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you. Do some research in the background to this Commandment one of the Ten given to Moses by God. Who kills their children today for disobedience? And this Commandment that Jesus broke and the Pharisee went berserk. Because it was one of Ten moral Commandments given by God

" This is the main Commandment Jesus is often found breaking in the Gospels and the reason the religious Jews felt Jesus must die. Cut your grass on the SABBATH or even lift your finger to press a push-button on a lift to go to the ground floor and you are in serious trouble. I saw it in Jerusalem where every hotel has special sabbath lifts for the pious Jew that stop on every floor automatically on Saturdays.
