It's not a waste of time. All characteristics are important in us.
God is a spirit but he is a male spirit. As our Creator He presents as such and can make a physical body if He wishes.
Look around. People gravitate towards people who are like them in ways but especially in appearance.
Generally, whites with whites, blacks with blacks, and so on. There's no mass intermingling of all cultures.
You can't ignore any physical aspect.
