Who were the sons of Noah, and what happened to them and their descendants? from Got Questions website.

The peoples that came out of the children of Noah after the flood are all peoples that inhabit the known Biblical world of the Old Testament.
There are no details concerning peoples far outside of the known Biblical lands.
As for the mindboggling spurious claim that - "Ham is the father of the Arabians, Canaanites, and Africans, including the Egyptians" - there is no evidence is provided to support such nonsense.
As per usual it is just a claim made by adherents to mediaeval church of Rome doctrines.
Next you will be claiming that Cain married his non-existent sister.

If Shem is the progenitor father for the Semitic peoples, and Abraham is a descendant of Shem, then how can "Ham is the father of the Arabians" be true ??
Given that Ishmael the son of Abraham is the father of the Arabs (originally known as Nabateans).
For even today the Arabs and the Jews acknowledge that they are half-brothers through Ishmael and Isaac.

Genesis 17:20 As for Ishmael, I have heard you; behold, I have blessed him and will make him fruitful and multiply him greatly. He shall father twelve princes, and I will make him into a great nation.

The Bible can defend itself and you've shown you don't know it like you think you do.
Jesus doesn't "declare" everything in the Bible.
The Bible is a historical and religious book/text. Things are 100% legit without Jesus speaking on everything.
I've stated the facts and the obvious. You're the one that's unteachable. There are people who know more than the both of us who do know the answers. Pride is a dangerous thing.

Genesis 9:18-29 "
18 Now the sons of Noah who went out of the ark were Shem, Ham, and Japheth. And Ham was the father of Canaan. 19 These three were the sons of Noah, and from these the whole earth was populated. 20 And Noah began to be a farmer, and he planted a vineyard. 21 Then he drank of the wine and was drunk, and became uncovered in his tent. 22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brothers outside. 23 But Shem and Japheth took a garment, laid it on both their shoulders, and went backward and covered the nakedness of their father. Their faces were turned away, and they did not see their father’s nakedness.

24 So Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done to him. 25 Then he said: “Cursed be Canaan; A servant of servants He shall be to his brethren.” 26 And he said: “Blessed be the LORD, The God of Shem, And may Canaan be his servant. 27 May God enlarge Japheth, And may he dwell in the tents of Shem; And may Canaan be his servant.”

28 And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years. 29 So all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years; and he died.

The Legacy of Noah's Sons

Who were the sons of Noah, and what happened to them and their descendants?

More importantly: "“Shem was the ancestor of all the sons of Eber” (Genesis 10:21), and this is important because the word Eber is the origin of the Hebrew word for “Hebrew.” The word Shem means “name,” which implies that Noah expected this son’s name to become great. He was right—the modern words Semitic and Semite are derived from Shem’s name. The Bible records that Shem had five sons: Elam, Ashur, Arphaxad, Lud, and Aram (Genesis 10:22). Shem lived to be 600 years of age (Genesis 11:10–11) and became the ancestor of the Semitic peoples (Genesis 10:1, 21–31). Abraham, a descendant of Shem, is the first person in the Bible who is referred to as a “Hebrew” (Genesis 14:13).

Japeth - "Noah’s firstborn son, Japheth, is listed as the father of Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras (Genesis 10:2). Their descendants became the people who lived to the north and west of Israel and, after Babel, spoke what today are classified as Indo-European languages.

Ham - Ham, the youngest of Noah’s three sons, had four sons: Cush, Mizraim (Hebrew for “Egypt”), Put, and Canaan (Genesis 10:6; 1 Chronicles 1:8). Egypt was later called the “land of Ham” (Psalm 78:51; 105:23; 106:22). The Hamitic peoples are shown in Genesis 10:6–20 as becoming a godless and worldly power. It was the land of Israel that was assigned to Ham’s son, Canaan, and for centuries it was under the control of the Egyptians. Ham is the father of the Arabians, Canaanites, and Africans, including the Egyptians. Due to Ham’s sin against his father (Genesis 9:20–25), Noah cursed Canaan, saying Canaan would be a servant to Shem (Genesis 9:26). This was fulfilled centuries later when the Israelites entered the land of Canaan and subdued the inhabitants of that land (1 Kings 9:20–21).

How many times are you going to stray off topic and refuse to believe the truth? Your responses SCREAM your emotions have control of you. You simply do not like the answer and are upset b/c you didn't know it or understand

He will be a wild donkey of a man; his hand will be against everyone and everyone's hand against him, and he will live in hostility toward all his brothers.

Yes that pretty well describes the tribalism of the Arabs.

So? As you know most of human history isn't in the Bible. What is in it, is relevant information.
It's not a claim. Your opinion that it is, is just that.
Again, you are on a Christian forum. "Science" isn't favorable to God, the Bible, or Christians b/c it would undo their obsession with it.
No. Many have come to the same conclusion who are not "adherents to medieval church of Rome doctrines." I'm not Catholic so maybe they have their own view of something.
The IQ of the Arabs are mostly lower than average. Jews aren't Christians b/c they don't believe Jesus was divine. I care not what either think.
Regarding Ishmael, besides him being a whiny, butthurt crybaby, God doesn't abandon his children. Even though he was the first born he was born out of sin which negated his status.
You want a specific answer that you placed limits on and if it isn't given then "It's wrong."
I'm no expert in genealogy in any regard and find such research to be dull and boring. I'm not so prideful I think I have all the answers and not having them (by anyone) doesn't negate what the Bible says.
It's quite simple. Ham did simple the start just like the other brothers not necessarily the one who started that culture.
Adam is the father of everyone but is not the "Father of Hebrews, Arabs, etc." You're taking words too literal. Eve is the Mother of all but is not the mother of or creator of future cultures.
When done right, parents teach and instill the values, morals, and ethics (good) down to the next gen and so on.
Islam is another feces garbage dump and another topic.
Why did God bless Ishmael? You human has the answer nor will ever "figure it out". God can answer for you.

As per usual inane nonsensical rambling.
Never answering any questions that challenge you hypothesis.

Ishmael is the father of the Arabs (Semites and half-brothers to the Jews through Abraham)
Yet you claim Ham is the father of the Arabs -
This has nothing to do with science but more to your bad reading of the Bible.

I got told today that God is black and that through many years of people following his path the followers of Christ had to find a way to make Jesus more modern?

God is not black, nor white, nor bronze, nor dark brown, nor with red hair and freckles.
God is a spirit and it is only when God and the angels come to visit this world that they take on human form (always male) for us to interact with them.
Sometimes their appearance can be fearsome and bring dread upon those who witness this more glorious form.
Rev 1:9-17 and Daniel 10:5-6 and Exodus 33:18-23

But God did create directly all the human types that dwell upon the Earth in Genesis 1 - male and female he created them.
Genesis 1:26 Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

Then God rested from all his works for an extended period of time - how long for we do not know.
Afterwards God formed (not created as in Genesis 1) Adam from the dust of the earth and placed him in a garden separate from other human beings.
This is why Cain was able to marry a woman from the land of Nod after the expulsion from Eden.

This also explains that even though the flood (Genesis 6) was worldwide not all humans outside of the central Mesopotamian Bible world were drowned, such as Africans, Asians, indigenous Americans.
God in the Old Testament is very much dealing with a set geographical region of nations and peoples and the story of Adam to Moses and the children of Israel.

Deuteronomy 32:7 Remember the days of old; consider the years of many generations; ask your father, and he will show you, your elders, and they will tell you.
8 When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when he divided mankind, he fixed the borders of the peoples according to the number of the sons of God.
9 But the LORD's portion is his people, Jacob his allotted heritage.
10 “He found him in a desert land, and in the howling waste of the wilderness; he encircled him, he cared for him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.

Wait i'm so sorry for the mix up I meant Jesus. so sorry about that.

Yes I have seen statues of a black Jesus and black Madonna art. Those are cultural references, and I guess they help those Christians who need idols to relate to Jesus.
But they miss the point that God is the Creator and is everywhere.
More importantly such displays of black or white statues completely miss the gospel that God dwells within his disciples by his Holy Spirit.
Sad for God is spirit and not made of wood.

John 4:23 But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him.
4 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.

I got told today that God is black and that through many years of people following his path the followers of Christ had to find a way to make Jesus more modern?
Oh they europeanized the Messiah that's for sure

The title alone will get people's attention.
Unlike Bill, Ted, and Death's meeting with God who like directly at him with no ill effects, can we look upon God in Heaven? Probably but will we see defined facial features? Unlikely.
Now Jesus? Of course.
This brings us to our Parents. Adam and Eve. As they were created they didn't have belly buttons.
As DNA is a VERY powerful thing who knows what they were? What they were isn't important but given the 3 major "races" (hate using that) then a middle skin tone would be the most likely.
Two white parents can NOT produce a black child.
One example are twins from a black or brown parents who had one black and one white child. The white girl looks almost the same except for skin color. Another East Indian couple (brown) had a white child. She looks like a pale Indian to the point where the Indians don't accept her and she doesn't feel she fits in with whites.
There as no such concept back then. Noah = Shem, Ham, Japeth.
Shem - Jews. Arabs. etc.
Ham - Blacks
Japheth - Caucasians. Whites and Asians.

You can put this "God is a woman." nonsense in the trash where it belongs.
Jesus was a Middle Eastern Jew - He was also tanned from constant sun exposure.
Humanity did NOT start in Africa. The three rivers listed in Genesis are NOT in Africa.
Back to DNA. Albinos and mixed races to the point where there is a notable difference are not common.
To stats and facts:
Look at the crime rate in America and the world. Look at who makes up the terrorists groups. Cain was the first murderer but given the Flood his "people" were killed.
Those without God AND those given facts and stats further narrow the line.
Evil uses Race as a great tool to divide humanity. You can thank the Nazi George Soros for funding Burn Loot Murder and has actively stated he will divide America through racial hostility. That is another topic but we cannot be blind to this.
The last church I went to was great for a time. I saw my brothers and sister Christians not: old Christian, fat Christian, Black or white Christian, female or male Christian. They were obvious but NOT a focal point.
Evil uses race to divide humanity? You need to reread that, Evil is a character in the book of Jeremiah, he was a Persian king. The Persians have something of a tendency to stay with other Persians, but at the same time they're Ishmaelites, who split away from the family of Abraham and mixed with various other tribes, not to say races, such as the Philistines, the Medes, the Babylonians and the people of the land of Cannen. I know I'm being pedantic, but there is no evidence that the historical Evil Merrodock, who is chronicled in the Book of Jeremiah, ever went around "using race to divide Humanity". It's usually more an all-Arabic scribal culture around Persia, which is in modern day Iran, and they don't seem to have any problems mixing it up and fitting in with either Chinese or other Asians or with Indians.

Having said that, Iran and Iraq fought a long war against each other for eight years back in the 1970s, and African-Arab or African-Asian relationships are more or less uncommon.

Plus...simply put God is not white or black or any certain ethnicity. God is spirit and is above and beyond such human foolishness

No.
You misunderstand. Not "evil person". EVIL. People who are influenced and EMBRACE it don't want Good to unite. The Race War whatever time, place, and culture has and is being used.
It IS a great tool at dividing people. The Chinese did it for centuries. This goes more than just decades.

Those who walk in the flesh are blinded.. for it's not flesh His children walk in we walk in Spirit

Now I urge you, brethren, keep your eye on those who cause dissensions and hindrances contrary to the teaching which you learned, and turn away from them.

O Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to you, avoiding worldly and empty chatter and the opposing arguments of what is falsely called “knowledge”

But refuse foolish and ignorant speculations, knowing that they produce quarrels.

But avoid worldly and empty chatter, for it will lead to further ungodliness

YH is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

Twistie :broken_heart:

Color is not a race.
There are two races of people,Jew and Gentile. There are many colors in the gentile race.

I’m sorry but you are wrong concerning man’s creation and Adam.
God did not create all others on sixth day and then Adam sometime later.
Genesis 1 tells of the creation of all the earth, including Adam. Chapter 2 just reiterates Adams creation as God and man is the sole theme of the Bible.
Also, just conjecture here,Adam and Eve could have been in the garden hundreds or millions of years and had children before the fall.
Cain was the first born after the fall. The world could have been greatly populated by then.
Also notice Eve was not affected by eating of the tree until Adam did. So not only did he bring curse on Eve but all others that were in the world.
Of course I am speculating, but it makes good sense to me.

Yes people do like to add to scripture.
As for me I prefer what scripture actually teaches - such as Cain went to the land of Nod in the east and married a woman from there.
Not his supposed sister. Scripture teaches us that other people outside the garden of Eden where living.

It says he went to Nod and he and his wife had intercourse and had a child.

Greetings lentz,

Gentile equates to/with Nations.

There is also connection of gentiles and those who were no longer living in Israel, north or south.

Have you ever heard such things?
Changes the 'picture' to some degree.

Not arguing but adding some extra bits for tasting , chewing and perhaps digestion.

Bless you ....><>
