Hearing God Speak to You, the difficulty of it.

First you quote john 6:51 and then decide what it means to you. Ergo, your own guess, or what someone else has guessed for you. It is not the consumption of flesh in the way of cannibalism that most protestants rightly cannot see God doing or promoting such a thing. It is uncorrupted flesh that can be consumed in the Eucharist. Miraculously transformed by a person of faith who believes it to be so. The bread does not change appearance, and it does not need to be a priest who does it, as it simply needs a man of faith who believes it to be so. God give grace to those christians who can only associate it with cannibalism, but do the bread and wine as a symbol only. I am not catholic, but this is one thing they are right on. And people, protestant christians, want to hate catholics because and other things they dont want to see the truth of. I dont know about all things catholic and which are true or not, but I know this is true.

Yes the Catholic practice of the Eucharist is cannibalism.

Not because of this answer, but of all the answers that I have noted you have made that I have seen, I truly cant see you as a man of faith. You are all cyclical logic (man's type) that comes down to your belief that the age of miracles is over, You basically believe in some powered down Jesus and powered down Holy Spirit. You will one day regret this belief when you bow before the King of Kings.

Okay you two settle down, if you want to come down on the Catholic so be it since I'm the only one here that claims to be Catholic anyways.

There's a lot of truth that it said in both of your writings, the hidden things about Jesus and the Old Testament that I've talked about in the past such as the fact that God spoke to Moses on the mountain and he put his words on the two stone tablets. The two stone tablets are the witnesses of the truth and the truth was written on the tombstone tablets which is the Word of God. The word of God meaning Jesus. So Jesus is the word of God revealed to us in the Ten Commandments

It's also written in the New Testament that Jesus was The Rock that followed the Israelites around in the desert for 40 years the rock that had water flowing from it. So we know that there's a lot of symbolism in the Old Testament and in both cases it represents Jesus. Just like the Mana from heaven represents Jesus.

In the same way that the Mana and the water that came from God was given to the Israelites, now Jesus reveals to us that the bread and the wine which is offered to the Lord and blessed becomes the body and blood of Jesus in the manner of the water and the man on. And as bread and everyone else here knows not everyone can handle the teaching to it's fullest extent. This is why I've tried to tell you that God has Grace for those who are Christian but cannot handle the fullest extent of that teaching there is still Grace. Paul talks about this Grace when he says that for those that know the law they will be judged by the law and for those who do not know the law they will be judged by the law written in their heart.

So you see what is most important is love, because God is love and love is God. And if you love your brothers and sisters then God is within you and if you love your enemies God is within you and if you love just for the sake of loving God is still within you. Cuz the true heart that has love in it also has the treasure, and the treasure is Jesus.

I hope you understand what I'm trying to tell you

Cool Jesus is a cannibal. I guess you never read the scripture that Jesus stated if you do not eat my body nor drink my blood you will not have life within you

Don't worry about Lentz he will eventually make it to heaven it's then that we can laugh about these conversations

The age of miracles ARE over.
I now have faith that Jesus is who he says he is ,and is able to save.
But it IS by faith and faith alone.
Let’s say the age of miracles aren’t over. What miracle do you want him to perform for you?
I bow before Christ always. I see no need in waiting.

You see this is the problem right here, you're dictating to God what the ages. You're telling God that the age of Miracles are over.

I remember years ago when I had a spiritual encounter with God. At the time I was studying to be a priest in the Seminary, and when I started telling my experience to the students in the Seminary I had a number of priests come up to me and asked me to tell them my experience. Their reaction was the same as yours, that God doesn't do this stuff anymore.

My response to their statements was, "why not, God is God he can do what he wants"

So i say the same to you Lentz , why not, God is God and he can do what he wants. Who are we to tell God what he can and cannot do?

There is nowhere in the scripture that says that the time of the Miracles are over. In fact if you ask me we're just ramping up for miracles to be abundant in our lives.
Don't you recall all the Miracles that took place during the time of Jesus. He would say to people your faith has healed you or your faith has saved you go and sin no more. And yet the Miracles were abundant. And even after Jesus left the Miracles were abundant with the apostles, and who's to sit there and tell God it's over it's over God because I'm telling you it's over how ridiculous is that

Once again you’re taking scripture out of context
I'm not taking scripture out of contents, you yourself said that Jesus is a cannibal. He's the one that said you have to eat his body and drink his blood. And if you recall most of the disciples said the teaching was too much, and they couldn't deal with it and left

If the age of miracles is over, does that mean the hope of resurrection (the ultimate miracle) is also over?

Hey,

I read this and must let you know that the miracles of God never stopped, and that Jesus is returning. It's up to you whether you believe others' testimonies which are direct witness of God The Holy Spirit, God The Son--Jesus The Christ, and God The Father, but many of us have seen God move, and in many ways.

What might be common to you may be miracles for others, and not that alone either. I have seen God move many times, and it's always undeniably God.

I cannot tell you the kind of pain that God has been leading me through. Words cannot express the deep internal pain within that only God can heal. I assure you once more that God's miracles are far from being over. I'll begin with this understanding: i'm breathing. I've been dead twice, yet I am here and now communicating with you. That is not all, either. This forum actually has a record of some instances where I was suffering so deeply that I had to put it somewhere. It is a record of my suffering without God's presence. It's very different now. Many people have left testimonies of God's grace and mercy in their lives on this forum to encourage us all.

Do you remember how John The Baptist said 'I must decrease, but He must increase'?

John prepared the way for Jesus, so that His people were ready to recieve Him. He was a light who testified of Him who was to come, and before Jesus came, there was John to whom many went and learned from, but he was humble and faithful, and he knew that God's people could not depend on him for but a moment, and he was increased as the forerunner for Jesus Christ for but a moment, and he decrease when Jesus came.

His ministry prepared the people that came to him to recieve Jesus Christ, and he knew that nobody could continue to seek him for answers and teachings, and that is why he was important as the forerunner, and when Jesus came he became less important, and Jesus became more important. His ministry was fulfilled and now God's people were seeking Jesus Christ for God The Father and not him. John became less important and God's people stopped going to him.

Would you believe it?

Some time later into the ministry of Jesus Christ, Jesus is washing His disciples' feet! He's washing their feet. He, the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, and the only way to the Father, the only truth and the only life, is washing His disciples' feet.

Would you wash my feet? You may need to get on your knees to wash my feet. Will you do it?

My pain became so terrible that I was completely beyond human aid, and then Jesus showed up and called me out of darkness and into His light. Psalm 18:16

The scriptures are not about who is right or who is wrong. It's a love letter from our Heavenly Father to us, and He reveals to us exactly who He is, His nature, and His character.. and His eternal love for us.

He is the only One who fills that space in our hearts.

It's easy to write people off and esteem ourselves as being right within ourselves, but God's nature and character is agape love, unconditional. In the transition from the old to the new there is a moment where we are so sure we're right, and then we learn from God that we're wrong.

If I say I bow to Christ, but then I come forth into the religious battleground (which is ignorant of Jesus) and I spend my time dismantling others and engage myself in arguments of what is or what is not, and this behavior is consistent, then I can be sure that I am still 'in transition' and I need more time with my school master, because I am a disciple, but if I graduate school, will I then go back to that school later on to argue with the teachers, or will I accept that the teachers also have a teacher?

God gives us space and provision and time and His Word and His Spirit and His Son,

Should we not extend the same grace and mercy to our beloved brothers and sisters (ALL human beings), and be an example of what God would have us to represent for Him, or should we lay traps and throw nets and weave webs to catch others to take account of the errors in their words?

The 'Sword of the Spirit' was not meant to be swung at others so liberally. If a soul is killed because the one who weilds the sword does not know how to use it or even to understand what it is for, how is that different from killing a person in the world?

God's Word was not given to us to swing at others. It was given to us to separate our own selves from our own sins, so that we could enter into God's Presence.

I dont need Him to perform any miracles for me, I am content with the life I have with Him at my side. And I dont have to have miracles to believe in Him. Do you know that some christians in the first century were being badly persecuted to the point of banishment or death from the authorities from where they lived, so like David, they hid in a cave not far from the city they came from, and God put a deep sleep on them and they woke hundreds of years later, came out to the city that had been transformed into a city that believes in God and Christ. That was hundreds of years later. It was documented, look it up. I have had miracles happen in my life and the lives of many around me. People dont document miracles anymore because of people like you who would scoff at them.

I don’t read lengthy replies.
What ever you think on subject of miracles is fine by me

Babes need signs and wonders.
Also it could be that people today look at blessings as miracles. That’s fine.
Again I have to ask though, what miracle do you want performed.
How many times should God heal you? You’re going to die from something.

How many times should I forgive you before it kills me?

But if God teaches me patience through you, should I not respond with humility?

For I was once filled with invisible pride, and God pulled me out.

God changed my heart. That is a miracle. He pulled me out of a living hell. That is a miracle. He revealed His nature to me. That is a miracle. He uprooted darkness in my heart that I was not even aware of. That is a miracle.

I am going to die someday. That is sure. But, God said this:

(KJV) of the Bible, Matthew 6:34 says, "Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof".

If I go and ignore these words of Jesus Christ our Lord, which came from His Father, and if I go and do the opposite towards others, am I really bowing to Christ my Lord?

But God pulled me out of hell. More than a miracle: with His own hand, He drew me out of deep waters.

Hallelujah ☺️

If "miracles" have passed away then so has "faith" passed away because that is how they happened.
