Hearing God Speak to You, the difficulty of it.

Miracles come in many shapes and forms indeed.

Those who can not hear the "voice" of God and never read the Bible because they are not listening for His voice and refuse to read the Bible, can be forced to read it by living the life of God in their presence.

2Co 3:2 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:
2Co 3:3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

Proclaiming the Gospel can be done without speaking a word out of your mouth by living the Gospel out in front of others.
All men are reading the Gospel because of the light inside you.

I admit, that Lentz is a tough cookie. If only the Christians as a whole were as tough as he is.

For all the ( cough cough) heartwarming conversation that goes on between he and I, I can still admire him.

Faith is definitely a struggle, it's much like the struggle of life. When everything is easy the faith seems easy too, but when things are tough, or you're in a spiritual desert, as it's referred to, our faith gets tough too.

I know what Lentz is trying to say. That he doesn't need the Miracles or the signs and wonders to prove to himself who God is. Nor do I, but it's always nice when something does come up, sometimes God allows things to happen just a reminder in a simple way that he loves us

Would you mind explaining a little more of what you're trying to say, I was trying to follow you but I couldn't seem to get it

Before I gave my heart to the Lord, I worked at a company that worked in wood products. I met a couple of guys there who never spoke two words to me. They would come to work and on their break, and at lunch times would read the Bible. They were always joyful and were the best workers I had ever seen.

They never preached the Gospel to me, I was constantly "reading the Gospel by the way lived at work". I have had other people witness to me but these two guys I remember the most. In my heart, I can still see them, and that was over 45 years ago!

That had a huge impact on me in choosing to follow Jesus. The Bible describes this in scripture.

2Co 3:2 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:

Sometimes it is better to let Christ in you to influence other people around you without saying a word because they are reading your life.

That is really good. The Holy Spirit was working in you through the guys and thier experience. The Holy Spirit always draws us to Jesus

It’s easy to tell when I’m speaking to Pentecostals
I never really bother to look at my brothers and sister in the Lord, as in classifications. They are all just my brothers and sisters in the Lord.

There is another scripture that speaks to "wives" on how their husbands can be won over who are not believers.

1Pe 3:1 Wives, likewise, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives,
1Pe 3:2 when they observe your chaste conduct accompanied by fear.

I don’t doubt their your brother and sister

The Holy Spirit does talk to some. Others have dreams. I've heard testimony from veterans of the Holy Spirit speaking to them, just once, but He spoke. Miracles do happen, Look up WW1 miracles and you'll find many miracles, Angels stopped an invading army. Alot of churches met every day of the week to pray for England.

I think my favorite words that people use one Miracles take place, it just so happened.

The volcano that erupted in Hawaii within the last couple years, it just so happened that the Christian churches were never touched by the lava flow even though they were in the path of the lava. Whereas places like Jehovah Witnesses building and many others did get decimated by the lava.

There is always so many crazy stories. Like a person that happens to be at the right place at the right time to rescue someone, and the person when asked says they don't know why they came that way they just felt they needed to. There's all sorts of things

The Texas Rangers baseball team, the only one that didn't accept the woke agenda, won the World Series. Sometimes the Miracles are simple and I'm sure you can make all sorts of excuses for miracles if you want to

Greetings
And yet John the Baptist showed up doing something never seen before, baptising with water.
And again the Pharasees testify while scoffing, What new doctrine is this?

Back to the original OP.
When God speaks, the Spirit within knows it's Him.

The age of miracles ARE over.
I now have faith that Jesus is who he says he is ,and is able to save.
But it IS by faith and faith alone.
Let’s say the age of miracles aren’t over. What miracle do you want him to perform for you?
I bow before Christ always. I see no need in waiting.
The reasons you have never seen a miracle or supernatural happening in your own life is because you don't believe God is capable of such.
God is the same, yesterday today and forever.
He hasn't changed.
I've had many miracles, supernatural happenings in my life, but I won't bother to tell you, because you don't believe they still happen.
They do happen, if one believes.

Far out man

Far out man
For years, my mom and dad used to do these Musical shows at convalescent homes or homes for the elderly back in the '60s. My dad used to sing in the Opera and my mom was a music teacher back in the 30s and 40s. And they had a love for music especially the light operas. Songs like naughty Marietta, Rosemarie and Babes in Toyland and a number of others. I think many may still remember Oklahoma the musical. So my parents would get together with friends of theirs I remember this one lady that used to play Ragtime music on the piano, I kid you not that the piano used to jump when she played it. But I can't explain to you how many times that there were so many miracles that took place. My dad gave everything up to the Lord, he never accepted any money or any recognition for it for that matter. People used to want to write up articles about my dad and his group but he would never let them do it unless they were going to praise God about it.

My mom had this marimba, it's an instrument that would remind you of a xylophone made out of wood. And it can't get wet. We would lug that thing around with us to every single show, then this means taking it all apart every single time and putting it all back together at the residence. My mom would play that thing she did a beautiful job it was beautiful music. But one thing in particular of marimba cannot get wet.

I remember plenty of times that it was pouring rain outside and my dad would say the Lord, you know that we can't get the marimba wet and you know that we offer all this up to you Lord could you stop it from raining. Every single time that we were about to go out the door with the marimba it would stop raining. And I mean it was like a torrent of rain coming down and it would just like be a water faucet shutting off. And as soon as the last piece of the marimba would go into the car the rain would start up again. And it would be that way all the way over to the residence and when we would go to open up the car to take the marimba out it would stop raining again like just like on and off switch. As soon as we got inside the building would start pouring again. I can't even explain to you how many times I've seen this. So if you don't think that God performs miracles I got news for you there are Miracles and they happen all the time. You just have to learn how to see them

Far out man

It would be one thing if you were new to this, but the pattern I have seen is that you are predictably hostile, and often provocative but not for good measure. Even calling the people here lunatics, fakes, ignorant liberals.

Where is your love? Your compassion, your mercy? How about your humility? Have you forgotten to build others up? Yet you mock the people that have your back covered and then rave on about your beliefs to the denial of all others.

What do you get out of your conversation with lunatics? Careful now, you might learn how to love.

Check yourself. You're spitting on the people that actually give a damn about you.
