Worshiping eternal God by faith not seen .not the son of man the temporal seen. Jesus our brother in the lord .

Mathew 28:9 9 And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.

He did not set his approval on those who worshipped what the eyes see his flesh which he declared profits for zero .

In another case when one bowed down in worship he called our brother in Christ Jesus the good master . Knowing no man can serve two .

Mark 10:16-18 King James Version And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.

Our brother in the Lord Jesus dared not to stand in the place called the abomination is desolation .Human form in the place of our unseen eternal Holy Father

Only God unseen is good . Its his seal of approval we seek no aproval from the Son .And it was good the testimony that God spoke again and again till the last day altogether it was "very good"

Is Yeshua not God?
Not worthy to receive our highest eulogy, as I have shown you in the scripture references?
The RESURRECTED Messiah not worthy, as God, to receive our deepest gratitude for what He has done and still is doing?

The answer to this question largely hinges on Jesus’ identity. If Jesus is regarded as deity in the same sense as His Father, then we should worship Jesus. If the New Testament documents identify Jesus with Yahweh, then we should worship Jesus. If He is merely a prophet of God, the worship of Jesus would not be appropriate. Given the Bible’s insistence that worship is to be directed to God alone, any God-fearing individual will need a satisfactory answer to this all-important question.

The apostle Paul called Jesus “our great God and Savior” (Titus 2:13) and points out that, prior to His incarnation, Jesus existed in the “form of God” (Philippians 2:5–8). God the Father says regarding Jesus, “Your throne, O God will last forever and ever” (Hebrews 1:8). The apostle John says that “in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word [Jesus] was God” (John 1:1). Other passages identify Jesus as the Creator and Sustainer of the universe (John 1:3; Colossians 1:16–17; Hebrews 1:2). Jesus receives worship several times in the Gospels (Matthew 2:11; 28:9, 17; Luke 24:52; John 9:38; 20:28). Jesus is never said to reject such adoration. Rather, He accepts such worship as well placed. So, does the Bible portray Jesus as fully deity? The answer is certainly “yes.”

With that being said, Christians need to recognize that the Bible also teaches the deity of the Father (John 6:27; Romans 1:7; 1 Peter 1:2) as well as the Holy Spirit (Acts 5:3–4; 1 Corinthians 3:16). And yet the Scriptures teach that there is only one God (Deuteronomy 6:4; 1 Corinthians 8:4). How can this be? The Christian church has historically taught that the Bible is clearly portraying God as one Being who exists in three Persons. This doctrine is known as the Trinity. Dr. James White, author of The Forgotten Trinity, has provided what we believe to be a helpful definition of the Trinity. Here it is: “Within the one Being that is God, there exists eternally three coequal and coeternal persons, namely, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.” We contend that this is the clear teaching of Scripture and should be affirmed by any biblically faithful Christian.

These biblical distinctions go a long way in providing the proper balance in Christian worship. We must not overemphasize our adoration for any one Person in the Godhead at the expense of another. The Bible teaches that, while the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit perform unique functions and have different roles, all three Persons of the Godhead are equal in power and majesty.

In summary, the Bible teaches that Jesus of Nazareth is nothing less than God the Son, the second Person of the Triune God (Trinity). In view of this, He is due our full worship and devotion. To fail to worship Jesus Christ would be sinful.https://www.gotquestions.org/worship-Jesus.html#:~:text=The%20answer%20to,would%20be%20sinful.

The Son of Man Jesus is not God

I don't think the bible uses the term "God the Son" he calls born again humans as Christian's "sons of God". defining God to the word "Father "

I think he's asking the question where is Jesus is asking specifically to have people pray to him directly not where it's third person. Because all the quotations that you have shown are all third person

Very clear.
A. The Word in Eternity and Time (1:1-5)
1:1 In the beginning was the Word. He did not have a beginning Himself, but existed from all eternity. As far as the human mind can go back, the Lord Jesus was there. He never was created. He had no beginning. (A genealogy would be out of place in this Gospel of the Son of God.) The Word was with God. He had a separate and distinct personality. He was not just an idea, a thought, or some vague kind of example, but a real Person who lived with God. The Word was God. He not only dwelt with God, but He Himself was God.
The Bible teaches that there is one God and that there are three Persons in the Godhead—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. All three of these Persons are God. In this verse, two of the Persons of the Godhead are mentioned—God the Father and God the Son. It is the first of many clear statements in this Gospel that Jesus Christ is God. It is not enough to say that He is “a god,” that He is godlike, or that He is divine. The Bible teaches that He is God.
1:2 Verse 2 would appear to be a mere repetition of what has been said, but actually it is not. This verse teaches that Christ's personality and deity were without beginning. He did not become a person for the first time as the Babe of Bethlehem. Nor did He somehow become a god after His resurrection, as some teach today. He is God from all eternity.

1:3 All things were made through Him. He Himself was not a created being; rather He was the Creator of all things. This includes mankind, the animals, the heavenly planets, the angels —all things visible and invisible. Without Him nothing was made that was made. There can be no possible exception. If a thing was made, He made it. As Creator, He is, of course, superior to anything He has created. All three Persons of the Godhead were involved in the work of creation: “God created the heavens and the earth” (Gen_1:1). “The Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters” (Gen_1:2). “All things were created through Him (Christ) and for Him” (Col_1:16 b).

Very clear.

Yeshua received worship that rightfully belongs to Him on earth, more so, in Heaven.

There are seven wonderful titles of our Lord Jesus Christ in this opening chapter of the Gospel. He is called (1) the Word (vv. 1, 14); (2) the Light (vv. 5, 7); (3) the Lamb of God (vv. 29, 36); (4) the Son of God (vv. 34, 49); (5) the Christ (Messiah) (v. 41); (6) the King of Israel (v. 49); and (7) the Son of Man (v. 51). The first four titles, each of which is mentioned at least twice, seem to be universal in application. The last three titles, each of which is mentioned only once, had their first application to Israel, God's ancient people.

Shalom

Yeah I just used the Gospel of John chapter 1 with some response to another person and it dawned on me that that's perfect as a response to why we should be praying to Jesus.

I wasn't disagreeing with you but I did Overlook the one birthday you had posted which was the Gospel of John chapter 1.

I was just on my way to look for your comment so I could tell you that too LOL

I know who Joshua is and you'll have to forgive me I'm using voice to text so it's not spelled right. But you're preaching to the choir I'm in agreement with you

I have to admit you don't hear that too often in a Christian chat forum, that Jesus is not God.

...which brings this scripture to mind...
1Jn 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
1Jn 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
1Jn 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

VII. THE NEED TO DISCERN BETWEEN TRUTH AND ERROR (4:1-6)
4:1 Having mentioned the Holy Spirit, John is reminded that there are other spirits abroad in the world today, and that the children of God need to be warned against them. Thus he cautions the believer not to trust every spirit. The word spirit here probably refers primarily to teachers but not exclusively so. Just because a man speaks about the Bible, God, and Jesus does not mean that he is a true child of God. We are to test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. These are people who profess to accept Christianity, but teach another gospel altogether.
4:2 John gives the actual tests by which these men are to be proven. The great test of a teacher is, “What do you think of Christ?” Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God. It is not so much the confession of the historical fact, namely that Jesus was born into the world in a human body, but rather it is the confession of a living Person, Jesus Christ come in the flesh. It is the confession that acknowledges Jesus as the Christ Incarnate. And confessing Him means bowing to Him as Lord of one's life. Now if you ever hear a person presenting the Lord Jesus as the true Christ of God, you will know that he is speaking by the Spirit of God. The Spirit of God calls on men to acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord and to commit their lives to Him. The Holy Spirit always glorifies Jesus.
4:3 And every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. This is how you can detect the false teachers. They do not confess the Jesus who was described in the previous verse. This is the spirit of the Antichrist, which has been prophesied and which is now already in the world. There are many today who are willing to say acceptable things about Jesus, but they will not confess Him as God Incarnate. They will say that Christ is “divine,” but not that He is God.
4:4 Humble believers are able to overcome these false teachers because they have the Holy Spirit within them, and this enables them to detect error and to refuse to listen to it.
4:5 The false teachers are of the world and therefore, the source of all that they speak is the world. The world is the spring of all that they teach, and therefore the world hears them. This reminds us that the approval of the world is not a test as to the truthfulness of one's teachings. If a man simply wants to be popular, all he needs to do is to speak as the world speaks, but if he is to be faithful to God, then he must face the disapproval of the world.
4:6 In verse 6, John speaks as representing the apostles. He says, “We are of God. He who knows God hears us.” This means that all who are really born of God will accept the teaching of the apostles found in the NT. On the other hand, those who are not of God refuse the testimony of the NT, or they seek to add to or adulterate it.

The Lord's peace be with you

My friend discernment is one of the things that I have been talking about almost as long as I've been on this website.

I don't know if it's just sad or a little bit scary and how much people do not use discernment. One of the biggest problems with people that do not bother using discernment is that when they do use it they will not understand what's being given to them. At least for myself when it comes to the gifts of the Spirit it's something that takes practice, it's like hearing the voice of the Lord when he speaks to me and learning to recognize the difference between an angel or God the Father when they talk. I know that there are some people that hear the voices externally but for myself I hear everything internally in my heart.

I suppose in many ways I could talk forever on the many different gifts of the Holy Spirit the problem is is that even if I did talk about all the crazy stuff most people here they won't even believe it and they will not use the gifts of the holy spirit or discernment to find out whether or not they are for real.

Just something simple like out of the body experiences fighting in spirit against the darkness now there's a lot of people here that have never even heard of it let alone done it and because they have not heard of it or experienced anything like it automatically they say oh it's of the double. And I tell them okay use your gift to discernment. You say that you've been baptized in the spirit so let's use it use that gift to discernment and then you'll know the truth.

There are so many variations of discernment it's insane honestly. There are discernment of not only spirits but dreams you can read the scripture and use discernment reading the scripture to have a better understanding of what is being said in the scripture. There is discernment of people at a distance people that are close by over the phone texting I mean holy cow there's so much discernment.

People will always sit there and tell you how much we read the Bible or we follow the Bible in the answer I usually give is no you don't. And it's pretty obvious because one of the things that Paul tells us is the plant fan your face into a flame into a torch into a big fire for all the world to see.

But very few are taking the time to exercise those gifts of faith in regards to the gifts of the Holy Spirit. I hear it all the time well I'm waiting for the Lord to move in me I'm like you know what the Lord is moving in you all the time every single day all the time and you don't even know it. Because you're so closed to the gifts of the Spirit even though you say you have them I was baptized in the Lord and I got the gifts of the Spirit I'm like okay use them use the gifts don't ever stop using the gifts use the gifts
