How Do I Put on the Armor of God?

We rely on the Scripture -- read That and you'll know who's speaking the truth.

That only works when the Word and the preaching is factual.
. How can you use scripture when a preacher uses theory as with Rapture teaching .
Jesus only states that He will return in the end . He will come down from Heaven to meet us .
All the Rapture teaching is based on hopes and theory. The hope that we wont have to endure what is to come . Oddly enough Schripture does not agree with those teachings. Infact if anything God uses us to teach others how to survive it , by turning to God

The rapture is Not a man-made theory. It IS part of Scripture. The passage that talks about two in a field -- all of a sudden one is gone and the other remains . And the two in bed -- one is taken and the other left. THAT is the rapture being described. Jesus Christ coming down to earth -- actually standing on the Mt. of Olives -- That is real, also. And That is the second coming.

There are presently Now and have been in the past -- plenty of times of tribulation / martyrdom. Daniel and the den of lions / fiery furnace, etc. God was showing how He was with those people and will continue to be with us Now.
And, yes, we Need to be turning to God.

Sounds like you have some biases Against part of God's Word. The question isn't usually If , but When it will happen.

There will be plenty of 'surviving' in this world After the rapture takes place. The Godly influence will be gone when the believers are gone. No Holy Spirit . That next phase will be the 7 yr tribulation --God's dealing with non-believing Jews.

and after you have told some lies and walk in them, that belt of truth was so loose, your garment trip you up in the fight Your "breastplate of righteous" was not in the right place. [which should had been in Jesus and not yourself] and you received a "blow to the Chest" that stun you in place, that you could not move you feet, for readiness to move out of the way, nor able to move the "Shield of Faith" to extinguish all of "Those Flaming arrows of the evil one. You will learn when you get into the fight. and after you have been knock down, and that Helmet knock off of your head and the "Sword fall out of your Hand" and your feet unstable, and cannot find your shield, and you also have received a wound in your chest! And after "The Angels and The Holy Spirit"pour oil into your wounds and have comforted you! You will know how to put that Armor of GOD on by keeping it on! But some christians who are design for the warfare, have to go through this again, but after the second time. They sleep with the Armour On! And they do not move until GOD says so! And when they move, they do not have to ask GOD how high. They know how high. So in essence if you are truly a "son of God" you will learn! LOL! No one can tell you nothing concerning the movement of God in your life,! You are going to stay close to "The Shepherd"! they can quote "scripture" and say "Thus saith the Lord", "The Lord told me to tell you", "They are wasting their breath"! LOL, I don't care what "Rev. Of the two walking in the field , which one is the Christian or are they both Christian . It is not made clear enough , but preachers around the world are jumping to conclusions without proof that the one leaving is the Christian . .

I am saying , based on Scripture , God doesnt take His people out of the situation . Even in Sodom God waited until it was so bad , not even 5 good people could be found outside of Lots family .

And Lots family were not whisked away to the Heavenly gates , oh no . Sent out into the desert to start all over again .

Let us look at Jesus , He asks us to follow him . To be taken to Calvary , to walk in His footsteps . The Apostles were all killed except John . So you want to be a follower of Christ . Be prepared for an ordeal, there is no special " leave the planet " before the poop hits the fan

The Two Witnesses are filled with the Holy Spirit . How then can you say , " the Godly influence will be gone "

We put on the Armor of God by way of our faith

So long as you keep your focus on God , in all things . Not just Reading Scripture , but by living in the Word .

As an example . , i say the Lords prayer every time i get a cup of coffee . And talk to God when i fill my Semi with fuel .
When i drive down the road , listening to music , i will often hear the Father speak to me . He will ask me , do you love ne more than this song ? And i will say , You know i do . Inwhich i will turn off the music and either relax in His Spirit or just talk with the Father

I would ask -- what else Would it be talking about. Why would one be taken and the other left -- Maybe all those preachers around the world are Right. That it Is the rapture of the Church being taken up and out of here. It Will be happening.

God never spoke to me in that manner . Usually the Father says , ok you fell out of My Grace . Quit moping , get up , you have work to do.

And after finishing the work for that day . The Father often says " come up here " where i go to Him and He removes the stains of darkness that may linger on me .

Then He fill me with His love , and i love Him in return.

I wonder if we can look at scripture and see this, I see when we dont obey God , there is hell to pay. look at what happened in the books of acts to the married couple,,, that as you say so casually fell out of Gods grace,,, they were killed, People have gotten to comfortable about God and no reverence for him and his word.

I can give many many examples of people not obeying GOd and had heavy consquences to pay, not just mopping around, its sin that keeps us out of Gods grace, and repentance with brokeness is the only way to get back in his grace, not some silly mopping around

Well that is true that God does use a heavy hand at least in my case it hasn't have gone quite that way yet . Lol I know that if a person has been given much that much is also expected from them so if for instance if one of the witnesses chooses to turn away from God I'm sure that that Witness it would be really punished .

I was thinking of that after I posted my last piece to be honest with you .
God certainly allows many things to happened to us throughout our lifetime . Even those things we don't think are from God

How do we put on the whole armor of God? By acknowledging and believing wholeheartedly that you are God's child, that HE is yours and you are HIS, that you have already passed from death to life at the time of the regeneration of your soul, and that you have already entered into an eternity with the Lord. You might be persecuted, you might be tried, you might be beaten and tortured for your faith, you might be promised freedom from torture if you renounce your Lord and Savior, you might be beheaded regardless. Don't think this could not happen to you in the west simply because you think that beheading Christians is something that only happens in Africa and the Middle East. It's spreading. Look at the UK school teacher who was beheaded in broad daylight for allegedly mocking Muhammad. Attempts were made in the USA. Those that hate our SAVIOR and LORD are everywhere, and many are just waiting patiently for their orders from their commanding officer, Satan, to attack. And attack they will.

With your mind completely anchored on God, HIS word, and all of the heavenly things that await, there is absolutely no force on earth that can conquer your soul. "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Matthew 10:28.

@Bill -- well -- it 'shows up' in truthfulness, righteousness, sharing the Word of Truth / salvation. In praying for others and in all things. Being able to speak boldly as to the mystery of the Gospel.

All the things necessary to Do those things. The parts of your body being used , the protection needed.

I was busy with my wife earlier today.

The reason i asked if you had seen the armor of God . Simply. We Christian will often jump to conclusions that words like Truth, and Righteousness are example of faith. And they are, but they are more than words in the Love of God.

Just as Jesus is a Trinity . He is the Word of God, Jesus is spiritual , and Jesus became flesh or physical .

It is the same with the Armour of God. A trinity in God. It is the Word, it is spiritual and physical . It is Jesus.

I wear the armor of God all the time. It is who i am called to be , the Sword of God
