This is the interesting part beloved @Shae .

Jesus calls us to be born again, to hate ourselves, to hate our sin nature so that He can change us.

If we "Love ourselves" we will not turn to Jesus. If we hate ourselves or are not comfortable with ourselves then we will turn to God.

Since I see you are not comfortable in a females body, and you literally hate who you are, turn to Jesus. You are on the right path.
Step one is hating yourself (your sin nature), you are almost there, but step two is turning to Jesus.

You are so close, praying that you turn to Jesus, which means deny ourselves.

I heard that Jesus said, "Deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow me"

but we(the world) pervert the gospel and say

"Affirm yourself, lay down your cross, and Jesus will follow you".

Instead of Denying ourselves people are affriming themselves (I love who I am).
Instead of taking up their cross, suffering, withholding from the pleasure of lust, we lay down our cross and do what feels good,
and Instead of following Jesus where Jesus leads, we chart our own paths and pray for Jesus to follow us and bless what we want to do.


I think that is the way of the world, and it has infiltrated the church, I pray for the younger generation, they have so much hope,
yet it is difficult because they have so much pressures and temptations and the government and society are teaching them the ways of the world.

Imagine growing up in a land where same sex marriage is the law of the land. Alternative life-styles are common on TV shows and cartoons.
And churches are even preaching it is ok. I didn't grow up (as a child -90s-90s) in such a world, but this is the world that @Shae is growing up in.

Continue to keep @Shae in prayer.
 
This is a third but interesting part to add.

So are we aware that according to the Jesus, His own words, there is no marriage in heaven?

Jesus said when asked about marriage in heaven, He said " At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven. " -Matthew 22:30.


So do we realize beloved @Shae, that this one that you love so much, when you get to heaven, even if you marry here, she will not be your wife in heaven, are you aware of that?

So what does that tell us, if we won't be married in heaven, it tells us that in heaven it will all be about our connection to God. A connection that we will share corporately or jointly, or communally,
We the church are the body of Christ, all of us make one spiritual body with Jesus as the husband. In Heaven it will be about Jesus connection to all of us. All of us will be one spiritually
in heaven. Well this is how Jesus prayed it.

" I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one—
I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me."
John 17:22-23

So the oneness that God has for a man and woman on earth is symbolic of the oneness of Jesus and the body of Christ in heaven. So find love in Jesus because in heaven
your marriage here will not be recognized in heaven, according to Jesus, not me.
 
The message paraphrase puts Matthew 22:30 ( "At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven. " )

This way, it reads:

"At the resurrection we’re beyond marriage. As with the angels, all our ecstasies and intimacies then will be with God."

So if eternity for the Christian will be focused on being intimate with God and not with a partner (for you this girl), don't invest your all into this girl and put God to the side, because in heaven you
WILL NOT be married to her, according to Jesus.
 
We all have God's word and choose to either obey or rebel. Shae is choosing to rebel. She needs to be willing to follow God's Word and then her other relationships will be good.

omg just let me live and I'm sorry that you grew up in a time that consists of old people and same sex marriage was finally legalized in 2015 because people get to love who they want and be happy unlike some old conservative grumpy people in the 90's :/ and I'm sorry that my church loves me for who I am and who I date and kiss and hug. I'm sorry that it's not your problem to deal with. just let me live my damn life.
 
God's Word says that there will be total darkness there and knashing of teeth. And you'll be wanting to be out but won't be able to

You stated, you can't give her up because it has been 10 months.
My understanding is that you believe that you have invested too much time (10 months of your life) and you don't want to turn back.

So am I to believe that if you were not 10 months in, and this was only day 10, that you would have a change of heart and give her up, because
it hasn't been so long in your mind (10 months).

If the time doesn't matter, why the mention of 10 months?

Far from perfect, my dear.

I've made many mistakes

I've stolen music online (illegal downloads)
I've looked at inappropriate pictures online
I've cheated on school work before
I've left work early before it was time
I've driven above the speed limit,

I've done many things wrong, but I repent and turn to Jesus.

I wouldn't have given her up if it was 10 days either I love her alot and she knows that her parents are super supportive of us and happy for us and I'm happy too and 10 months is a long time and I've never been in a relationship that has lasted that long and I am so glad I found the one for me
