Israel today

He tells us to prefer to be with our Family in the LORD .
And He tells us if we bless Israel we will be blessed . If we curse Israel we will be cursed.

He also tells us not to fellowship with the unsaved.

But we are to love the unsaved and help them when they allow it .

Gen_12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Eph_5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

1Jn_1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
1Jn_1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Rom_12:10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another

;
1Ti_5:21 I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.
Meaning we Do not count ant in His body better or more than others. But we do honor those in power. God a great believer in obeying those in power. Just as we are to honor the police or judges or so on. It not the person , it what they are Doing ? There job we honor.

2Co_6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Isreal is very important to our LORD

Rev_21:12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
Rev_21:14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

listen I get not get upset when others disagree . We can only live in the light we have ? Just because some know a few things more or less means nothing . God LOVES us all equally .

Israel is true Christianity not a race.
If one points to Christians not being Gods people then who are they ? nothing at all and Jesus must be false to one who says such filth.
If Christianity stands alone from the foundations of Israel it is not Christianity at all.

Jesus came only to Israel . Then they rejected there messiah . Of course many were born again . and all the disciples were Jews at the beginning.

But He going to turn back to them and use them to give the gospel as at the beginning. We are grafted in as Jews . Not as gentiles.

My point is we should not hate the nation of Israel but love them and help them when we can ?

God protecting them . we see in the bible many nations have and will try to wipe them off the map. It such a little nation .Yet has won there battles and have made it from all over the world to be returned back to it place.

How could such a great miracle take place ? Unless GOD was watching over THEM ?

We are joined to them as one . They are Not joined to us. satan has tried to turn the world against Israel and wipe them out since it beginning. he has not be able too and he never will.

The Land of Canaan, renamed Israel by the Lord, was given by God to Abraham and his descendants as an everlasting possession.

Key #2: The gift of this Land to Abraham and his descendants was based on an unconditional covenant from God Himself.

Key #3: The Land was given to Abraham and his descendants as part of God's redemptive blessing to the world.

In Genesis 12:1-3, we read, "The Lord has said to Abram, 'Leave your country, your people and your father's household and go to the land I will show you. I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you and whoever curses you I will curse; and all the peoples on earth will be blessed through you."

The true church is made up of gentiles and flesh Jews. But all grafted in as JEWS.

We are the ones who were from the wild olive trees. They are the natural branches.

Rom_11:17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
Rom_11:24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?

I want you too have GOD blessing in Your life and household. Maybe i did not need to write this post? but just in case I did .

I love you and pray the LORD has mercy on you and me and all here who love our creator and savior and Lord JESUS CHRIST

Rom 11:1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

Rom 11:11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.

Rom 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
Rom 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
Rom 11:27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
Rom 11:28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.

Remember, of all the jews jesus was looking for it was the ones 'of Israel' he was looking for ? not just the Jews remember, as he came at a time when the Spirit of the nation was at a low point not it's hight. so most people of the calling were not of the ranking of being Gods servants ( Israel) ? as that is what the name Israel implies, does it not ?
The people were being lead down the garden path, by you know who ? men working in satan. not of the God of Israel at all, you understand this.
The people being lead astray just like we have today who are just full of it worshiping idols looking up to political correctness etc.
A people like this will never attain anything in God and have no hope of salvation at all and never ever will and never have at all. so why would a Christian look to fools for anything at all. espicialy ones that reject Christ ! that has to be a work of Satan for sure.
Some one must not understand who Jesus Christ is at all, if you were to go down this path and it would be like one persucuting Jesus over again.
It makes everything is in vane in Christ. as the Bible says it's like a dog going back to it's vomit. there is noting their and it is totaly void of the Spirit.

Jesus came though the People of Israel of the tribe of JUDAH. Those He picked to rule in HIS Kingdom were all of the tribes of Israel. We serve the King of Israel
We do not follow Israel . We Follow our LORD JESUS only.

But the bible clear either all or many of the people of Israel will be saved ? It does not matter how bad they appear . He going to open there eyes one day soon.

He made promises to there forefathers HE going to keep .
They are not like other nations.

Rom_9:27 Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved:

Jer_23:6 In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
Rom_9:6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
Rom_11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

Personally I will never turn against Israel as a nation. I count them to be special in GOD EYES .

Our nation has and I believe we are seeing the results of it ?

The promises to Israel have been fulfilled. They were fulfilled in Christ. Will a remnant be saved absolutely. Should we support Israel, yes. But if Israel turns to evil we should condemn them. Do they need Christ, yes. They need him now not sometime in the future. Today is the day for salvation. The future might be too late. Is the nation of Israel important in a spiritual sense, no. It's the individuals that are important.

Zec_14:16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
Zec_14:17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.

This reveals Israel is very important to the LORD . as He rules out of it and blesses Israel above all nations on earth.

they will repent and wept for not knowing that it was there messiah they killed .

Zec_12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

We know this has not taken place yet ,

Zec_14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
Zec_14:8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.

Isreal will be there if there was no nation left on earth ? Israel will stand.

John 19:36 For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken.
37 And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced.

They all have been fulfilled. The Zechariah passages have been fulfilled, although not how you would think. Both have been fulfilled by Christ when he first came to earth. John chapters 4 & 7. Eph 2:14, Gal chapter 4, Col 2:15-17.

Heb_2:8 Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.

We must disagree. revelation is not finished for sure.

You think , Time is no more now?

Rev 10:6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:

You think HIS wrath has already come ? And the judgment day has already passed?

Rev 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

Those faithful have already stood before Him and got there rewards ?

Revelations is future Not past .

It does start again in chapter 12 and reveals the birth of our LORD JESUS .
But then it goes on revealing the false prophet and the anti-christ and the 1000 years of peace where our LORD takes over the earth as LORD .

And lots more .The new heavens and earth . Our city New Jerusalem . I would have to copy the whole book to put it all in .

You're right Revelation isn't finished, but most of it is. Jesus Christ has yet to physically return. He did come in judgment against those who pierced him in 70 AD. The city of Jerusalem is the bride of Christ, not a actual city. The new heavens and new earth is still in the future.

Nope they did not wept yet as a nation . And No New Jerusalem is a true City . He went to prepare for those Born again.

I saw it Once and that where we co when we leave these weak dying bodies.

Heb_12:22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

That is the place He went to prepare for us . It a real place.

Rev_21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Our nation has and I believe we are seeing the results of it ?

You said it ! we serve the King of Israel ?
The King of Israel is Jesus Christ and we are called Christians who are his ? thats Jews or anyone who serves him.
You can not serve two masters.
The Jews are not Israel at all they just call the nation Israel. and that's all it is. as the orthodox Jews will inform you in fact as they are the true Jews the others are just some ragtag mob of socialist etc etc they don't even serve the OT it's that sad.
You say it does not matter how bad they are ? God does not support anything as such at all, remember he wiped out the filth in the flood.
Jesus is the king of Israel don't you get it ? all must follow in him and that's it, end of story.
Some so called christians of today are just idolising a race and that's all. it's a madness of filth as like that of Hitler just shear madness.

The Future Glory of Israel

Isaiah 60

(((2nd coming of Jesus)))

1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

(((Kingdom of Jesus)))

3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
4 Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side.

5 Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.
6 The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall shew forth the praises of the LORD.
7 All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory.

8 Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?
9 Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee.

10 And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.
11 Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.
12 For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted.
13 The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious.
14 The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee; The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

15 Whereas thou has been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.
16 Thou shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

17 For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron: I will also make thy officers peace, and thine exactors righteousness.
18 Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.

19 The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.
20 Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.
21 Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.
22 A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.

I guess we will have to disagree. I said before, it would not be as you think it should be. Read the passages concerning the city in Revelation. Even your passage you give tells you that the city of Jerusalem is not a literally city. Gal 4:24-31.

(((God is not done with Israel the nation)))

I would disagree with your first interpretation. It is his first coming. The second part I would partly agree with you. It is his kingdom, but his kingdom has been here and has been growing since Christ's ascension. It started out as small as a mustard seed and is still growing bigger and bigger. How big is it now, I don't know, a sapling, maybe, a mighty oak, probably not, but it's here.

God is finished with the "Nation of Israel" as you put it. But he is not finished with the world yet and that includes the nation of Israel.

Bambi,

God is talking to the nation of Israel who he smote and who he will bless. Can't you see it?

Isaiah 60:10
10 And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.

I see no "Plan B". When Christ came to earth prophecies said what he would do and that he would be rejected by his own. He initiated the kingdom. John the Baptist and Christ both preached that the kingdom of God was "at hand". That means it came then, it hasn't been delayed. It isn't completely here but we are in the kingdom. It's not something that you can see either, it's inside of you.

Isa 60:18. Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.

Eph 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

1 Thess 5:8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.

There are somethings in scripture that sound like you should take them literally, but when you compare scripture with scripture, Old Testament with New. Sometimes you should view it not literally in a physical sense but in a spiritual sense. Some say you should use New Testament to interpret Old, but that's not always the case. Sometimes you use Old to interpret New. You just have to have the discernment to know when. I was brought up like you believing in a future kingdom, but just because the preacher teaches things, doesn't make him right 100% of the time. We need to study for ourselves. God in his sovereignty guides us to the truth. Seek God for answers, pray about wanting to know the truth.

Pray for me and everyone on this website that God will show us the truth. I maybe wrong in my interpretation you maybe wrong in your interpretation. Don't be prideful in thinking because you have years behind you that you know more than someone who still has years in front of them. I can't be prideful either. I keep seeking answers to these eschatology questions and I keep finding myself going back to Preterist and Post-Mil. I don't agree with everything but I do think it's more right than Pre-Mil and Futurist's view.

Bambi,
This describes the kingdom age. People will live their full life span. We are not living in the kingdom. If you will not believe scripture you will believe what ever you want.

Isaiah 65:17-25
17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
20There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.
21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
23 They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.
24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.

20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed. I do believe we are in the kingdom. Christ and John the Baptist preached it. "The kingdom of God is at hand". This means soon not some time in the far distant future. There are many other scriptures that back this up.

Col 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
1 Thess 2:12 That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.
Heb 12:28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
Rev 1:9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Bambi,

Hebrews 13:13-16
13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
14 For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.
15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

We are part of Jesus heavenly kingdom which is yet to come. Dose that make sense?

Luke 17:20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

We are part of Jesus' kingdom which is here and becoming larger and larger the more people come to know Christ. Does this make sense?
