Personally I believe it would be good to read Deuteronomy immediately prior to entering the book of Revelation, as the song of Moses was sung by Moses, at God's instruction, prior to entry into the land. It summarizes the whole of the history of the nation, called by God to be His own possession in the land promised: and the book of Revelation sees the culmination of His dealings with them, as recorded in His Word. Those are my thoughts, but you must do what you think best,

I had forgotten that the song of Moses was recorded also in Exodus 15:1-19, so thank you for referring me to the song of Miriam which is in the same chapter. In Revelation 15:3 it is referred to with another, 'The song of the Lamb':-

'saying,
"Great and marvellous are Thy works,
O Lord God, the Almighty:
Righteous and true are Thy ways,
Thou King of the nations.
Who would not fear O Lord,
And glorify Thy name?
Because Thou only art holy:
Because all the nations shall come and worship before Thee:
Because Thy righteous judgments were manifested"
(Revelation 15:3-4)

The whole book of Song of Solomon is one song that God sings along with us His new born again creation .Songs of great joy that go beyond what the eyes see .they can cause us to leap and skip (a metaphor for salvation)

Zephaniah 3:17 The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

Song of Solomon 2:8 The voice of my beloved! behold, he cometh leaping upon the mountains, skipping upon the hills.

He never missing a note .

Complete there is no push, travel in a way, that is comfortable for you, It is alright. we have come a long way. We got a lot done together. And we went beyond our Goal, We went into "Overtime" but we reach the goal. And now it is all extra credit, we made the grade. I am going, so slow in "The Valley of the Kings" this time. for I like to remember all of the stories by heart. and i am reading all, lot of more parts of The bible too. Where The Spirit Leads you, you are free in Christ. Go for it. and relax and enjoy your read. I will keep the course I laid out and finish it. But I am reading other books of the Bible too. And I will keep everyone updated where i am at, on "The Revelation Trail" I figure I will finish "The Valley Of The Kings" around "Christmas Day".

1 Samuel 20:30 (MSB)
"Saul exploded in anger at Jonathan: "YOU son of a s-lut ! Don't you think I know that you are ...ff."
And then in the "NLT":
New Living Translation
"Saul boiled with rage at Jonathan. “You stupid son of a w-hore!” he swore at him. “Do you think I don’t know that you want him to be king in your place, shaming yourself and your mother?"

I normally read in mutiply's translations while reading the Bible at one time. "ASV", "KJV". "NIV84", and maybe a couple of "paraphrases" at one time
I have 2 computers and One" I Pad" and A Iphone and that is a downsize from running 3 full size computers.

When I was reading In the character of "King Saul" I didn't look for that surprise, but I should have known, From How the real "Manuscripts" are.

You see when people be saying, this is what the greek says. The "amateurs" that quote Greek, do not realize they are Translating The English translations into Greek, Instead of translating The Greek Text into The english. And they have no idea what they have done. They say the greek says. And no way, they know not what they are doing, And it is nearly impossible for you to explain what they have done. it is a lost cause. So you let them run in error. they are not going to understand, it is useless. Now if they have taken up a hard Language class, they kind of understand. And the internet feeds them this. They post and stick. like these Biblical languages are word for word and match words. Most of The Original Manuscript have no words whatsoever in other languages. That is why "William Tyndale" had to create words for The English, He just made the words up. and created phrases, "my brothers keeper" "ShowBread" "Atonement"there are no such words or phrases in "The Original Manuscript" words had to be made up! to convey a thought. And these things are hard to convey to the average bible student. That is why , leave the greek alone and the Hebrew words alone, If you are not trained how to use them. And we know many still do not understand what i am saying. so we just leave it alone and the word of God is spreading with errors delivered by the "laymen' at "Mach 9 speed". when they venture into that area.

PS. I heard one say as if, Like "The bible copied the "Shakespearean" language. But "Shakespeare" copy The English Language of The Bible. "William Tyndale" is considered The "Father" of the English Language, the beauty. Shakespeare copied the flavor and style of "William Tyndale'. The words we read in the Bible of most all translations is The Created Style of "Willian Tyndale"/ The KJV is the words of "WILLIAM TYNDALE" that is why it's language is so beautiful with systematic rhythm and Style colorful and beauty. I am also a student of "William Tyndale". He spent some time also with "JOHN CALVIN". in Geneva. and guess who footnotes are in "The Geneva Bible" and Who's flavor and translations words and style is also in "The GENEVA and The Bishop Bible"? "Thy Kingdom COME".

In the 1500’s an englishman named William Tyndale was talking with a friend about the need for everyone to be able to know God on their own. At that time it was illegal to own a copy of the Bible in the English language. Bibles were only allowed in Latin to make sure only the highly educated could read the Bible. Tyndale’s friend wasn’t sure ordinary folks needed to know the Scriptures. He thought it might be good enough for the Pope to know the Bible in Latin and then tell all the English speakers what it says.
To this Tyndale replied, “I defy the Pope and all his laws, if God spare my life, I will make a boy that driveth the plough know more of the Scripture than thou dost.”
On September 6th, 1536 Wiliam Tyndale was killed and then burned at the stake for his passion to see every person, even a plough boy, have access to all of God’s truth.
Plough Boy Resources, Inc. exists to carry on the heart of Tyndale’s prophetic idea. All people, even farm boys, should have as much access to the depths of our God as any well-educated, well-financed and well-connected intellectual.
