Mr. Lev,I have read through all of your posting as well as the responses, as well as your responses. When I was your tender young age,i did not care much about others,let alone for others. A notch on my belt for every girl,and a dart for every male. This was at that time my mind set. Later in life,I would feel guilty and condemned as you are right now. I looked to make light of this to others,because I could not show weakness!! I went on like this for many years,when I learned that john 5:17 meant I stop working and started believing( john 6:28-29) my only work!
I found out that God's own word became more of a comfort, then a work for me to achieve. It takes time to believe.( phil 1:6) And sometimes even longer to face ones own reality.I know!! lol My peace and comfort came Mr. levi by believing what Jesus has already done for me,( 2 peter 1:3-11)and not what I have to do to gain this! For the truth is I could never even hope to attain something from the Lord unless I first learned to believe in the Lord, and in all he spoke to me! This is indeed the hard part! The reason this is the hard part,at least for me was because now I have to be, and stay accountable,I have no more excuses I can use!!( rom 1:20)
It is easy to wear a mask for the outside world,the problem is looking to have a mask for and from our own self! Because we truly already know the truth about our self! And even worse we know that we can never put one over on the Lord. The lie we live we live according to our belief of that lie! The enemy looks to steal truth from us at first( john 10:10) then lie about how it was taken!!( john 8:44) We buy into to this for a while,but then we know better! We cannot help others bro until we first help our self,and we cannot help our self until we realize we are no longer willing to play games with our self! This bro consider as I did,because this helped me greatly to mature,as I know you wish to do yourself.My prayers are with you,just do not wait to long,for we never know what tomorrow can bring!( rom 13:11-14) I hope this was not to long winded for you!! LOL
