Countless things are beyond our understanding in this.
Disagree. God has given us the same knowledge of good and evil that He has Gen 3:22 as well us the ability for us to understand and grasp it Psalm 8:5, Heb 2:7.
Scripture is crystal clear that the devil will be punished ''in front'' of the angels in heaven Rev 14:10. Why if they cannot grasp it? it is beyond them as you say? You are not meditating on scripture.
Be careful of making statements like this. It can imply that God has an evil side to Him, as we cannot fully grasp Him. That is 100% heretical teaching. Scripture is crystal clear that God does not have a dark side. 1 John 1:5 God is light with no darkness in Him AT ALL.
The human mind can NOT understand Heaven or Hell. God face to face.
Disagree. Scripture is clear that God gives us visions of heaven and God. God gave this to Isaiah, John and Paul.
God operates with mankind on our level. Scripture mentions things in heaven that we can understand. Gates, roads, horse, mansions, banquet.
How God is three but three as one.
Sure, God Himself is hard to understand. Where does He come from, nobody can grasp that.
Fire represents many thing and in the Bible, purification for example.
IMO and experience in learning:
Hell is fire and damnation. The soul and and does experience pain and physical needs.
Luke 16:24 "And he called out, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus to dip the end of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am in anguish in this flame.’
Luke 16:21 Laazarus and the rich man
Luke 16:22-23 Lazarus and the rich man in Hades
"“So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.”
24-26 "The rich man's plea. "“Then he cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.’ But Abraham said, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented. And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.’”
Whatever form the non-Heaven afterlife IS and has been, pain and suffering and torment are part of it.
You say fire represents many things and then quote only Luke 16?
Glad to see you have read Luke 16. Now please stop teaching falsely. Note the fact that NOWHERE in Luke 16 is the rich man SCREAMING, having HIS FLESH BURNED, being EATEN by worms, being TORTURED by demons. If any teach these things they are adding to scripture what is NOT there and need to be TERRIFIED of standing ALONE before God of the universe and having to explain to Him as to why they taught the lost that He loves and died for that He sit atop a list of the most evil beings to ever live, just because they read the word '''fire''' many times in scripture. Imagine that.
