When it does come you will know it...the book of revelation is clear that men will be warned not to take the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Or worship the antichrist and his Idol, right down to Satan himself called the Dragon.
Rev 14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive [his] mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
Rev 14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
Rev 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
You will see both him and the mark and his image, pluse the false prophet...if there is a mark without these guys it will more than likely be a false mark.. they all go together. There is also the mark of God or name of God on the forehead, but that dont happen till after the resurrection. Unless you are a part of the 144000 Jews...who are sealed for protection from Gods wrath.

The questions is, is knowledge enough. The answer is NO.
Judas knew Jesus was the son of God, but it didnt stop him from bowing to the god of greed when it came time to make a choice.
If Jesus Christ isnt Lord of our life now, will it be any easier to choose Him as Lord when told to bow to the anti-christ or die. NO.
Do we bow to greed, spouses, boyfriends, sex, bosses, jobs, pressures etc now?
Something to think about.
If Jesus Christ is Lord of our life now, there is nothing to fear.

I have been taught and believe that if you are told you have to take the mark or you and all your loved ones will be killed , then you give up your life and that of those you love. I don't think people will be afraid to die if they truly believe in God , they will gladly give their lives , just as Jesus gave his life for us , we should give our lives for Him if thats what it takes.
I believe it is very likely that the micro chip or at least something simular to it will become the "mark".
Many assume that the antichrist will come on the scene all at once and that christianity will be openly opposed to him.
I don't believe that is the case.
I believe that the world and church will be and is all ready gradualy being gr deceived. The stage is being set as we speak. The mark is being perfected. Many who don't know or believe in Christ Jesus will take the mark with no concern.(As they already have begun to do). Others will be forced into taking it in temporary forms such as the ancle braclets currently used for tracking criminals today. Once it is common place many will accept it for convience or security reasons with no concern what so ever. It won't be until the antichrist comes on the scene that it will be forced.
Right now many animal shelters are routinely placing these micro chips in pets for identification of the animal and (owner information). How long before someone will start with our children????? or willing adults????
That chip already stores an ID number that can be referanced by computer and intigrated into data bases that provides all kinds of legal,financial, medical and personal data.
You want a scare??? Type your name in the search line. Or go to your local public records web site and type in your name.

No one knows what the mark of the beast will be, but a micro chip is already old technology, it could be an indelible and invisible mark to the naked eye. I've heard the technology is already here to do that, and it will only improve in the future. So instead of using a credit/debit card people will be using the mark of the beast. But it will not be for long, the beast's reign is very short.
The question is, how long will something like that take to set up? Much of the third world does not have the wealth, nor the technology to become part of such a scheme. I think there is probably a lot of prophecy to be fulfilled before we are any where near that stage of things.

Like all men he was inherently weak. It wasn't until He was spiritually regenerated – born again – and then filled with the Holy Spirit Acts 2:4 that he had the strength to stand.
A careful reading of the book of Revelation speaks of a great spiritual revival amongst the Jewish people. The two witnesses are said to pour oil into the lampstand. The lampstand is one of the symbols of Israel and the oil is the symbol of the Holy Spirit.
So you see God is able to make His people stand through His own supernatural power.

As I opened up my Bible this morning, the ink-pen I had in it was at Acts chapter 3. So, I read it. It's amazing that Peter went from denying our LORD, to healing (of course in JESUS name), and then preaching one of the best sermons, I know of. We can do nothing apart from the HOLY SPIRIT. Oh, to walk in the SPIRIT continually. I have so far to go.

I certainly do believe that it can be a chip implanted. The Bible, in Revelation, clearly states not to accept the 'mark of the beast " in your hands or forehead. So in time they may explect us to be scanned just like groceries and merchandise to day, in order to get through any line to buy or sell, as quoted in the bible. Our medical records could be placed on microfilm so all info about our life could be downloaded in an instant maybe even 'thoughts' who knows how far the mind of the, 'giants among men' will go. The 666 means the number of 'man' and man is trying to reach to the sky again like they tried building the 'tower of Babel' Also we have become as Sodom and Gomorrah in many ways, with our 'intelligence' we have become very ignorant to God, and are straying from His ways, and getting closer to the 'Mark Of The Beast' MAN, wants to 'BE GOD,,' and that is what happened to Lucifer. So certainly they could use a micro chip, but maybe a much more advanced type then we know of now,. ( probably working on it as they engineer, people and make mistakes along the way creating weird beings, people are stating to see.) WE have come too far, with our technology, and learnng, and so YES people are capable of any of this kind of tampering with people in such ways. Some of our advancment has been for the good, but much in the name of 'modernizing' we have gone backwards, and they ( the giants among men) will not admit to the fact nothing they have done is really working, and the microchip would be a big mistake ,also.

I agree withyou sister, infinite_8. I was skeptical at first of the micro-chip. I am so and so on this being the mark of the beast, but at the same time there is no denying how close to the end of times we are. Therefore, it goes well with the mark of the beast at the rate we're heading towards the end.
On the other hand, I think possibly the mark of the beast is a spiritual mark, not phsyical [chip]. I may be wrong. Just as we are sealed with the Holy Spirit, marking us children of GOD, I believe the unbelievers receive the mark of the beast [spiritually]. Then again, this is a complex issue and subject to discuss. As always, best thing to do with keep intact with the Word of GOD and in prayer constantly.
In the end, there is a sweet happening for us believers. It is eternal life in Heaven with our awesome GOD Jesus Christ!

I recall when we were heading for the cash-less society. We were told that it would be much safer. No cash. Less chance to be robbed. Where are we now in this cash-less society? We are in danger, not just of losing a few pounds/dollars that are upon our person, but of having our bank accounts emptied.
"Mark of the Beast".....I think that we have seen the system already to some degree. It is rampant with problems. Little wonder it will collapse after a short while.

If you think about it, the body [flesh] is temporary. What is eternal? Our spirit, our souls. So what use would the devil have (or impact on our eternal destiny) on any person by implanting a tangible device (chip) into a temporary body [flesh]? This is why I believe the mark to be spiritual, signifying one who denies/rejects GOD and Jesus Christ as Savior, Son of GOD.

I tend to gree with Chad. Since our physical bodies are temporary, why would Satan want to focus on them? Then again, could it be that the master of deceit is himself deceived? Could it be that he does not believe he is to be cast into the lake of fire and that therefore he will be victorious and take over God's throne?Chad said:
