I have a question there was a time when I spoke to Muslim they claim that there peace but at the same time people saying that there not but it make since that I read there book of all kinds of things about them but again they said Christian made the world bad not Muslim but im confuse with this part and trying to find out something about a war between Muslims and Christian saying that we had peace with them and then started the drama???? But was this all started by the Catholics in France or something like that???? I just want to no that’s all.

The muslims began the war by invading Chrisitian lands and slaughtering Christians and Jews who called that land their home (Mohammed was an invander who used his tribal god 'Allah' (the moon god) to force people to obey him. Notice the crecent moon on the flags of muslim nations. That's the symbol of allah, their pagan god). Because of this slaughter of innocents, the Catholic churches, in response, called for the Crusades (muslims still occupy those once-Christian lands to this day). Several scholars hold that Muhammad’s ideas developed gradually: Some traditions were taken from the Bible (some apocryphal) and included in the Qur’an in order to win over followers from Christianity and Judaism.
In Islamic law (sharia), the consensus view is that a male apostate must be put to death unless he suffers from a mental disorder or converted under duress, for example, due to an imminent danger of being killed. A female apostate must be either executed, according to Shafi'i, Maliki, and Hanbali schools of Sunni Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh), or imprisoned until she reverts to Islam as advocated by the Sunni Hanafi school and by Shi'a scholars.[9]
Most Islamic scholars agree that the appropriate punishment for apostasy is beheading. However, according to hadith, apostates sometimes were tortured to death. The caliph Umar II had apostates tied to a post and a lance thrust into their hearts. Mamluk sultan Baybars II also practiced torture of apostates. A case is recorded when a woman who had apostatised was led through the streets of Cairo on an ***, then strangled in a boat in the middle of the Nile and thrown into the river. In modern times, followers of the Ahmadiyya sect in Afghanistan were stoned to death. The execution for apostasy was abolished in most Muslim lands in the 19th century either through European pressure or through the direct European rule; however, cases of imprisonment and deportation of apostates still occurred. Nevertheless, even nowadays renegades are not sure of their lives, as their Muslim relatives frequently try to kill them.[9]
Ideally, the one performing the execution of an apostate must be an imam.[9] At the same time, all schools of Islamic jurisprudence agree that any Muslim can kill an apostate without punishment

The trial is thought to be the first of its kind in Afghanistan and highlights a struggle between religious conservatives and reformists over what shape Islam will take four years after the fall of the Taliban.
Abdul Rahman, 41, was arrested last month after his family accused him of becoming a Christian, Judge Ansarullah Mawlavezada told Associated Press. The accused was charged with rejecting Islam.
During the one-day hearing on Thursday, the defendant allegedly confessed to converting to Christianity 16 years ago while working as a medical aid worker for an international Christian group helping Afghan refugees in the Pakistani city of Peshawar, Judge Mawlavezada said.
"We are not against any particular religion in the world. But in Afghanistan, this sort of thing is against the law," the judge said. "It is an attack on Islam." He will rule on the case within two months.

Dosent this contradict the teachings of Mosses! 6th commandment: You shall not murder! Which Muslums except as one of there Prophets.
Its hard to look at the teachings of Islam with an open mind when so much violence sufaces from what is suppoesd to be the true teachings of God. I have been in many chat rooms and debaits with Muslums over our differences and have not been convinced that Islamic teachings are of Gods words. I tried to understand Islam and am still trying too, but I will not give up the true teachings of Christ for a religion that justifies killing through God. Johns teachings are as plain as day.
John 5,22: For not even the father judges anyone, but he has given all judgment to the son.
John 5,23: So that all will honor the son even as they honor the father. He who does not honor the son does not honor the father who sent him.
John 5,24: Truly, I say to you, he who hears my word, and believes him who sent me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

There are versions of Muhammad's life favoring different traditions within Islam. There are also significant differences between Sunni versions of Muhammad's life and Shi'a versions. Bernard Lewis states that "the collection and scrutiny of Hadiths didn't take place until several generations" after Muhammad's death and that "during that period the opportunities and motives for falsification were almost unlimited." In addition to the problem of oral transmission for over a hundred years, there existed motives for deliberate distortion. The Muslims themselves at an early date realized that many Hadiths were fabricated and thus developed a whole science of criticism to distinguish between genuine Hadiths and pious or impious frauds.
I know where I stand now and am very gratful to God that he chose me to be of true faith as a follower of Christ.

Justin, what you posted about Islam (including honor killings) is extremely sad yet true. Thanks for the great post. Muslem and Christian
There are a lot of issues concerning about the faith of muslems. Especially of the claimed Christains. I always seem to run into the issue of different ideas from Christian brothers/sisters. Regarding what they believe. I want to put in this little encounter I had with muslems one day. How I started to study more on the muslem faith. I knew little, but I knew also what Jesus taught. As a Christian. I was sitting outside of a ministry thrift shop claiming the Christian faith and 2 muslem women came out with thier children and they started shouting at me.(I'm just sitting there, outside on a nice sunny day. I didn't even know who they they were or I them.) They coming out of the store yelling, "You worship 3 gods! Theres only one! Jesus is our brother! You Christains worship 3 gods, theres'only One God, Allah!" So I replied and I said, "Your right. There is only one God, Jesus is my brother, I am a Christian, and God is Allah. I said but I don't worship 3 gods. Christians only worship one God. Theres only one Creator." They seemed to become confused. They put their kids in the car slammed their trunk down and left. So eventually I went and bought a qaran. To understand their faith more. Because I think it kinda confused me, so I explored more.
Allah is an eqivalent word for the word God. which God or Allah is not Gods name, but identity of diety. Allah is Arabic for the word"God." -aslo used in hebrew and aramaic- (If I were Arabic and never heard of God. and missionary Christians came and minstered to me,and someone translated.I would not say God I would say Allah, which is the Arabic word for God.) Muslems believe in A God; the creator of the universe.
I find many people seeming to target the muslem faith based on the terrorists and attacks to other people and Christians. We must remember we as if we claim to be Christian. Are not to bear false witness even if you claim a people to be your enemy or of another faith. But if people desire a change of people. You can't start with the lie of a people of a faith. And the only power to fight against, dark principalities. Is the WORD of Truth.

Why do you think they do not want their women to read. Not all Muslims practice this. This is the same concept that was used in the times of American slavery. That's why they were kept illiterate. Because many would filter the bible. Its all about control and power.
What is a true Christian but only one who submits to the will of God. Not an organization of some society. But the submission of the heart. Not to man, but to God.

I believe it to be a gathering of information from many different sects of beliefs by the journey of Mohammad from what he understood and recived from teaching of different Jewish sects, Christians and the ones who called themselves gnostics. He did obtain some true knowledge about the prophets, some knwoeldge seems to be distorted. He did not seem to understand what the Son of God meant. But He did accept that Jesus spoke the will of God even though some of the teachings of distorted. Mohammad wound up fighting in a war. Which mind you. He took out a whole city Mecca that worshiped 300 false gods. Trying to convert them, acknowledging there is only one God. These were a people who killed their own children. He wound up getting into politics and such... I can't write all about it. But mind you. There are many practices of people claiming to be Christain. That has as much of a distorted believe as they claim the Muslems do. There are over 300 different beliefs claiming a Christian faith in America alone. What it all comes down to is. In your heart, seek the will of God. Thats what Jesus taught.

PUNISHING SINNERS WHO WERE WILLING TO REPENT

From John 8:2-11 At dawn He (Jesus) appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group and said to Jesus, "Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?" They were using this question as a trap in order to have a basis to accuse Him. But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with His finger. When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her." Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground. At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. Jesus straightened up and asked her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?" "No one sir", she said. "Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin."
MUHAMMAD
From the Hadith of Abu Dawud, #4428 "Buraidah said: "A woman of Ghamid came to the Prophet and said: "I have committed fornication", He said: "Go back". She returned and on the next day she came to him again, and said: "Perhaps you want to send me back as you did to Maiz b. Malik. I swear by Allah, I am pregnant." He said to her: "Go back". She then returned and came to him the next day. He said to her: "Go back until you give birth to the child." She then returned. When she gave birth to the child she brought the child to him, and said: "Here it is! I have given birth to it." He said: "Go back, and suckle him until you wean him." When she had weaned him, she brought him to him with something in his hand which he was eating. The boy was then given to a certain man of the Muslims and he (the prophet) commanded regarding her. So a pit was dug for her, and he gave orders about her and she was stoned to death. Khalid was one of those who were throwing stones at her. He threw a stone at her. When a drop of blood fell on his cheek, he abused her. The prophet said to him: "Gently, Khalid. By Him in Whose hand my soul is, she has repented to such an extent that if one who wrongfully takes an extra tax were to repent to a like extent, he would be forgiven". Then giving command regarding her, prayed over her and she was buried.""
Here is a stark contrast between the two men. When Jesus dealt with the adulterous woman, He did not condemn her. He commanded her to go and sin no more. He gave her a chance for redemption – the very model of mercy. Jesus offered this chance to the woman. Under the law, the Jews could have stoned the woman to death, but Christ's love and compassion was much greater.
Muhammad’s approach was much different. At first, he tried to dismiss the adulterous woman. She confessed her sin to him, but he refused to hear her and deal with it. Instead, he told her to go back. MUHAMMAD: commanded his male followers to beat their disobedient wives. He gave men the right to beat their wives who persistently disobeyed them. Sura 4:34 "As those you fear may be rebellious admonish, banish them to their couches, and beat them." At first Muhammad said to her "Get even with him", but then added 'Wait until I think about it". Later on the above verse was revealed, and Muhammad added, 'We (He and the woman) wanted one thing, Allah wanted another.

By putting these two Hadith together, we find that Muhammad said that women were the minority in Paradise, and the majority in hell. Therefore it is not a statistical ratio due to the possibility that there are more women than men. Muhammad viewed women as more sinful than men. And the reason more women are in hell is because the women were ungrateful to their husbands Muhammad also declared that women are less intelligent than men:

"...Then he (Muhammad) passed by the women and said, "O women, give alms as I have seen that the majority of the dwellers of Hell-fire were you (women)." they asked, "Why is it so O Allah's messenger?" When a drop of blood fell on his cheek, he abused her. The prophet said to him: "Gently, Khalid. By Him in Whose hand my soul is, she has repented to such an extent that if one who wrongfully takes an extra tax were to repent to a like extent, he would be forgiven". Thanks for bringing that topic up I didn't know that the mohammed religion brought about so much evil and hatred for their believers which without knowing has answered my question why they are still so many wars in the world today if you teach war, hate and encourage them what do you expect? If small children instead of playing and their innocence is violated with their bringing up using revolvers and know already how to kill and manipulate a person what do you expect?
Jesus always teaches love and not hate, Jesus never hate those who oppose him and never said to kill anyone who oppose him he ended up in crucifiction for our sins to save us. He always give us a chance to repent back and he keeps waiting for us to return to him. That is the teaching of love
I don't hate the momens I just pray for them and want them to see what their religion is doing to them and maybe they will realise what they are teaching their children to do. How can you possibly be happy to know that you ended up someone's life? do you have that right to do so ? do you wonder why today there is so much evil even from a young age? do you wonder why a 8 to 9 year old boy end up killing other children and beat them to death instead of playing with toys or playstation like other children of his age do ? Instead we end up saying that the child is evil and should be punished and the real problem is not sought but if the child is brought up with the mentality that killing those who oppose you is good do you wonder why these incidents happen in today's world? How possibly a religion be a true religion it teaches things similiar to what I mentioned even from a young age when the child is still learning what is right and what is wrong?

I don't hate the momens I just pray for them and want them to see what their religion is doing to them and maybe they will realise what they are teaching their children to do. How can you possibly be happy to know that you ended up someone's life? do you have that right to do so ? do you wonder why today there is so much evil even from a young age? do you wonder why a 8 to 9 year old boy end up killing other children and beat them to death instead of playing with toys or playstation like other children of his age do ? Instead we end up saying that the child is evil and should be punished and the real problem is not sought but if the child is brought up with the mentality that killing those who oppose you is good do you wonder why these incidents happen in today's world? How possibly a religion be a true religion it teaches things similiar to what I mentioned even from a young age when the child is still learning what is right and what is wrong?

You make a lot of comparitve statements concerning Mohammad and Jesus. And noting how he contrdicts and then noting the contradiction about him and Jesus. Not that I at all praise Mohammad. Because I don't, and I clearly recognize him as a false prophet. Jesus is truely a true prophet; the Messiah. And not because I am taught to say this. But because of his teachings. And understanding of the truth. I also have to say, there are a lot of contradictions in life. I even contrdict myslef, but both standing points can be true. I have been to many churches and seen many people calling themsleves Christain using the bible. Telling people they are in pain and confused because God did it to them because the Scripture says. And this is gods punishement. This is an abuse of the bible. As they open the bible and say thats what god says .Thats what the Word says. It doesn't work that way and its more complex than that. Suffering, captivity, and imprisonment was also done to many prophets. As Jeuss spoke against. There are many people who came as Chriatin leaders in these denomintions. Jim Jones caused 900 people to commit suicide. All thinking they are Christian. The thing is .They can also use the same thing and say the same about the So called Christians. Maybe people need to ask what a Christian is anyway. He read from the bible.
Maybe you have a point in some statements but sorry to say Jesus never said to kill those who you oppose you or to talk only to believers and to kill the unbelievers, in contrary he said to preach to all the world the good news and pray for those who don't believe. he said that the world teaches you to love only those who love you back but Jesus said to love your enemies and to love you neighbour as yourself and then the world will know that you are my children so you have to love also those who don't believe and those who continually persucute you because if HIM which absolutely contradics with our way of thinking. Is this kind of teaching included in the Mohammed Religion? I follow the message of Jesus Christ, his teachings, the way he taught about things and how things should be done. I sometimes doubt myself if the catholics and christians have the same bible but they both have the same message that Jesus Christ preaches love in everything that we do and totally trust in HiM to do things and that's the important thing for me that He died on the Cross for our sins and that he risen from the dead which means that HE has the final say and that's the important thing for me

Well, I never said Jesus taught to kill. His purpose for what "he" was sent for was to teach the kingdom of God. And though it is taught today, amongst some calling themselves Muslem and just practice this. Has the idea all distorted anyway. and sorry to say probably interpret the quran the same way many people of today interpret the bible in past times did. You also have to rememeber. Like I am going to say again, I do not hold the things of Mohammad and the following so called prophets of the Quran to be athoritative. The thing is like the bible and how it was used to promote slaverey and other things. The quran is used this same way ..In areas considering killings and such In the quaran was in relation to them being in a war. The truth is Mohammad did not know much about Jesus. I have to say .As a true Christian and a follower of Jesus teachings , though he said we do not war against the flesh. Which he wanted to emphasize on the power of the word of Truth and its importance to the kingdom of God. I myself would...If it was the time of the hulocoust. Would have no problem if I encoutered Hitler and his practice to all those people. Bulldosing those starved abused bodies into holes. Many people calling themselves Christians are teaching only to talk to Christians. Which is not really Christian. But they say this and all they wind up doing is just encountering their own likeness which exsposes their own sefl righteuosness. Because a true Christain has become a sanctifier with the Message of God. To be sanctifyers in the world, but not of the world. So thats actually whats being taught in the churches of man today. Well, This is not a muhammad chat. And anyone can go on line to see peoples story about Mohammad. Umm. your camparative statement to the wars in the old testamanet. comapred to the pupose of Jesus. Is not based on the same purpose Jesus presented. To prove Mohammad as a prophet I can certainly prove you wrong. But I am not going to take up 5 spaces to do so. I have`nt read all your posts, only the first, which attempts to prove Mohamad was sent by God.
If that one statement, which your whole proposal rests upon were indeed Truth, then Mohamad would have believed in the One whom God sent, that is Gods own conclusion to the whole matter.
