Scholar Kenneth Wuest point out that "The Satan" signifies the leader of evil. This verse tells us that even the heavenly hosts of evil report to God and give account of themselves before God.

But I could also be wrong! When I weigh the evidence from Scripture, which is little, I'm inclined to believe the context of that particular Scripture decides who the Sons of God may be. With that in mind, I choose to believe that both believers and angels are the Sons of God.

Getting back to the original post, if you delve into it,Goliath was 6 feet 7 inches tall. According to Josephus.

Delve into it and you'll find Goliath was 6 cubits and a span tall...That comes to 9feet 6 inches tall. Not many men that tall today. Delve into the Book

Although I read that a cubit is about 18 inches, thats a guess, it actually is the distance between the tip of the elbow to the tip of the middle finger. For me, thats 20 inches. Apparently for lentz, its 12 inches, some wierd fore arms you got there lentz.

The point was,the discrepancy towards the measurements.
Some theologians believe a cubit to be so many inches,others something else.
Josephus and others of the time close to Christ,say Goliath was 6’7”. I feel they would come closer to knowing than you or I.

I use the Complete Jewish Bible a lot, one of my favorites Genesis 6:4 The N’filim were on the earth in those days, and also afterwards, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them; these were the ancient heroes, men of renown. King James uses Greek in translating...Not wrong, just different view
