New Bible for Gay Community

I have had discussions with alot of gay people on the forums, while there is hope for some of them, there is a sector that have no regard for truth of any kind, Biblical or otherwise. The only thing that they care about is legitimizing their life styles, regardless of how it effects anyone else.

The fact is there are sheep and goats and the goats destined for destruction. The goats are satan's servants in this world and they actively seek to promote his agenda and spread his kingdom, either wittingly or unwittingly.

Through the spread of the kingdom of God it is possible to throw back the kingdom of darkness. But I believe this a spiritual battle that has to be fought in the heavenlies first. Ephesians 6:2 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Which brings me back to the question of spiritual renewal or revival. I remember one case where a man who was defiantly one the devils seed came to our church.
In those days this church was a place where the presence of God could be felt strongly. In the Sunday morning meeting this man was so effected by the Holy Spirit that he could do nothing. He could not speak to anyone, he could not move of his chair or interfere with the meeting in anyway whatsoever.
On another occasion he came to an Evening meeting and he was exposed as a goat by prophetic ministry and the spiritual discernment of the Lord's people. Needless to say he never showed up again.

What I'm trying to say is these people, the goats and satan can be stopped. 2 Chronicles 7:14. if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. It's humble themselves and seek My face that is the key here. To see the glory of the Lord and to make Him our main focus in this life will enable us to deal with the other issues almost as a byproduct of seeking Him.

Blessings,
Tony

The Sheep and the Goats

The Sheep and the Goats

Matthew 25:31-46

31"When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. 32All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

34"Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'

37"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'

40"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'

41"Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.'

44"They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?'

45"He will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.'

46"Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."

Right on Time

I can't say I'm surprised these "bibles" are showing up.

Jesus told us we would see screwy people claiming to be Him or have messages from Him...in the last days.

The sin of homosexuality was forgiven along with every other sin that was laid upon the back of our Lord. However, the nature of homosexuality as a sin has not changed. All of the wishing and heretical writings of all of the perverts on earth won't change that.

Just as a murderer who accepts Christ is expected to never murder anyone else, so too a homosexual who accepts Christ is expected to lay his (or her) sin aside and repent unto the Lord.

Yes Jannette, you are absolutely right.

I believe you are talking about the Antichrist. The word is used by the apostle John. Referring to false teachers, he says (1 John 2:18, 22; 4:3; 2 John 7), "Even now are there many antichrists."

It has been applied also to the "false Christs" spoken of by our Lord (Matt. 24: 5, 23, 24).

This name has been applied to the "little horn" of the "king of fierce countenance" (Dan. 7:24, 25; 8:23-25).

To the "man of sin" described by Paul (2 Thess. 2:3, 4, 8-10).

And to the "beast from the sea" (Rev. 13:1; 17:1-18).

If however you have risen with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, enthroned at God's right hand.
Give your minds to the things that are above, not to the things that are on the earth.
For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
When Christ appears - He is our true Life - then you also will appear with Him in glory.
Therefore put to death your earthward inclinations - fornication, impurity, sensual passion, unholy desire, and all greed, for that is a form of idolatry.
It is on account of these very sins that God's anger is coming, and (some of) you also were once addicted to them, while you were living under their power.

But now you must rid yourselves of every kind of sin - angry and passionate outbreaks, ill-will, evil speaking, foul-mouthed abuse - so that these may never soil your lips.

Do not speak falsehoods to one another, for you have stripped off the old self with its doings, and have clothed yourselves with the new self which is being remoulded into full knowledge so as to become like Him who created it.
In that new creation there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free man, but Christ is everything and is in all of us.

Clothe yourselves therefore, as God's own people holy and dearly loved, with tender-heartedness, kindness, lowliness of mind, meekness, long-suffering; bearing with one another and readily forgiving each other, if any one has a grievance against another. Just as the Lord has forgiven you, you also must forgive.

And over all these put on love, which is the perfect bond of union; and let the peace which Christ gives settle all questionings in your hearts, to which peace indeed you were called as belonging to His one Body; and be thankful.
Let the teaching concerning Christ remain as a rich treasure in your hearts. In all wisdom teach and admonish one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, and sing with grace in your hearts to God.
And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, and let it be through Him that you give thanks to God the Father.

Married women, be submissive to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.
Married men, be affectionate to your wives, and do not treat them harshly.
Children be obedient to your parents in everything; for that is right for Christians.
Fathers, do not fret and harass your children, or you may make them sullen and morose.
Slaves, be obedient in everything to your earthly masters; not in acts of eye service, as aiming only to please men, but with simplicity of purpose, because you fear the Lord.

Whatever you are doing, let your hearts be in your work, as a thing done for the Lord and not for men.
For you know that it is from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. Christ is the Master whose bondservants you are.
The man who perpetrates a wrong will find the wrong repaid to him; and with God there are no merely earthly distinctions.

Colossians 3:1-25

:shock:Werid. I dunno what to say. Only that We're in the end of days..

But know this, that in the last days dangerous times will come:

People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-discipline, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power.

And from such people turn away!

For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith;

but they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also was.

But you have carefully followed my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, perseverance, persecutions, afflictions, which happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra what persecutions I endured. And out of them all the Lord delivered me.

Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.

But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.

But as for you, continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

2 Timothy 3:1-17

Not every one that saith unto me,Lord,Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven: Matthew 7:21

Not every one that saith unto me,Lord,Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven: Matthew 7:21

You are absolutely right;

Matthew 7:21-29
21. "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven.
22. "Many will say to Me on that day, `Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?'
23. "And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.'

The Two Foundations
24. "Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine, and acts upon them, may be compared to a wise man, who built his house upon the rock.
25. "And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and burst against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded upon the rock.
26. "And everyone who hears these words of Mine, and does not act upon them, will be like a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand.
27. "And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and burst against that house; and it fell, and great was its fall."
28. The result was that when Jesus had finished these words, the multitudes were amazed at His teaching;
29. for He was teaching them as one having authority, and not as their scribes.

John 14:15
"If you love Me, you will keep My commandments."

John 14:23-24
23. Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him, and make Our abode with him.
24. "He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father's who sent Me.

Ezekiel 33:11
11. "Say to them, `As I live!' declares the Lord God, `I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn back, turn back from your evil ways! Why then will you die, O house of Israel?'

Doctrine of demons

I am convinced that this is a doctrine from the pits of hell seeking to confuse and pull christians who could be compromising or struggling to break away from their past.

Am at shock as to how a publishing house could actually publish such garbage. May the Lord forgive us.

hey look you all. the lord does offer salvation to all sinners. no matter what the sin is. as for us we are not to hate the sinner but the sin and love the sinner. this is why we are to teach repentance and baptism.

but you see once again we stand in our own places and bad mouth the homosexual. yet we never tell them to repent or what the word of God states concerning their condition. in this we are just as wrong as they are for what they are printing and doing.

I'm not picking on the homosexual. Sharing GOD'S word with everyone here in this forum is all I am doing.

I did not bring up the subject 'New Bible for Gay Community'

I only replied to it, only to keep it clear what The Bible says about it.

You are absolutely right, GOD does forgive all sinners, providing we turn away from our wicked desires & stick to HIS Word & the teachings of HIS Son Christ Jesus.

And no I have never went up to a homosexual & ask him/her to repent, but if & when one ever comes into my life I will most definitely ask him if he/she believes in GOD & start there as a conversation peace.

Until then I can only pray for them, asking GOD to open up their eyes & heart so that they may know what HE wants from us all, in living according to HIS Rules & Regulations. And what it means to be forgiving.

If I have offended you & anyone else, I give you & them my sincere apologies. I ask for your forgiveness.

Ezekiel 33:11-20
(New International Version)

11 Say to them, 'As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! Why will you die, O house of Israel?'

12 "Therefore, son of man, say to your countrymen, 'The righteousness of the righteous man will not save him when he disobeys, and the wickedness of the wicked man will not cause him to fall when he turns from it. The righteous man, if he sins, will not be allowed to live because of his former righteousness.'

13 If I tell the righteous man that he will surely live, but then he trusts in his righteousness and does evil, none of the righteous things he has done will be remembered; he will die for the evil he has done.

14 And if I say to the wicked man, 'You will surely die,' but he then turns away from his sin and does what is just and right-

15 if he gives back what he took in pledge for a loan, returns what he has stolen, follows the decrees that give life, and does no evil, he will surely live; he will not die.

16 None of the sins he has committed will be remembered against him. He has done what is just and right; he will surely live.

17 "Yet your countrymen say, 'The way of the Lord is not just.' But it is their way that is not just.

18 If a righteous man turns from his righteousness and does evil, he will die for it.

19 And if a wicked man turns away from his wickedness and does what is just and right, he will live by doing so.

20 Yet, O house of Israel, you say, 'The way of the Lord is not just.' But I will judge each of you according to his own ways."

Your right, but no one here has condemned homosexuals, otherwise they would have been publicly rebuked and possibly had their accounts closed for showing hatred towards others. We are to be Christ like always, no matter who we deal with.

I agree. The major problem is not always those who are deceived, but those who purposely (like atheists) try to sway around GOD's Scripture and create their own version. This is obviously the case with this "gay bible" version. They modify it to their liking and call it holy.

It's not about judgement....

I don't think anyone is saying that homosexuality prevents Salvation. If God can clear the slate of the murderer, the rapist, the thief, the adulterer, and so on, then homosexuality should be just one more sin wiped clean by the blood of the Lamb.

However...it's one thing to teach (correctly) that a homosexual person can be Saved.

It's quite another thing to rewrite the Bible so that homosexuality is no longer considered a sinful practice.

Yes, Jesus came to collect us sinners -- but what did He come to collect us *for* ??

From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. (Matt 4:17)

But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.(Matt 9:13)

(Mark 1:15 )The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. (Mark 2:17)

I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. (Luke 5:32)

As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. (Revelations 3:19)

----

Homosexuality is now and always has been a sin. The first time a homosexual gets on his or her knees to the Lord to confess their sins, this sin should top the list for them. They need to ask God to free them of their inappropriate desires and they need to *want* to give those desires up. There are cured homosexuals all over the world who can and do testify that the Lord healed them of their unnatural desires.

I myself know former homosexuals and bisexuals who have given up their ungodly desires for the Lord. Much like recovering alcoholics, they speak in terms of a condition over which they must be ever vigilant and of which they could not have escaped without the help of God. But they *did* escape.

Even if the liberal doctors and such were correct that homosexual desire is something one is born with, that does not in any way preclude God from being able to cure it.

In any case, we shouldn't pretend homosexuality isn't wrong -- that will not only cause confusion, but it may keep some homosexuals who *could* have found God from actually being saved. Their blood will be on the hands of those who taught them wrongly.

Janette

chad i agree with you very much.

thank you for the awesome post janette.

as i agree very much with all of you i have got to tell you all that i keep seeing threads like this and like that but the one thing i also see, is the fact that very few brothers and sisters go and talk to the homosexual community in the love of the spirit.

the word of god states to love the sinner and hate the sin. not in those exact words. but i am sure you all see what i am saying. i hate homosexuality but i do love the person. not because i am gay but because i want their souls in heaven.

but they all need to be shown that it is a sin against the lord and the lord will not tolerate it.

Regarding the KJV, many homosexuals prefer this text because of a line in Luke that states...

Luke 17:34
I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.

I have always believed to love the sinner and not the sin, however when trying to tell a homosexual that he was sinning against the Lord, I was given the above verse as an excuse for his actions against the Lord. I was then called "homophobic".

Perhaps I am "homophobic", because I do not believe that homosexuality will exist in God's Kingdom. Like others though, I believe that this sin if repented, is just the same as any other sin. I am not to judge the repented, but to discern right from wrong.

I believe too, that we are at end times. I just hope that there exists many Christians when Jesus returns. I sure would like to see Him happy about those that stayed in His Word.

Apology

In my last post, I might have left the reader thinking that I was against the KJV version. Many times I have used it as reference. I believe that the gay community takes Luke 17:34 out of context. I don't think that the translators meant it to reference homosexuality.

Anyway, my apologies.

Pixie:love::sun:

Sister pixie, I've come across some homosexuals who are unfortunately just arrogant and stubborn. Anyone can be this way, homosexual or not but from my personal experience some just try their very best to defend their gay lifestyle and sway around the truth. For example in your case, you were insulted and you were given a verse taken out of context. How anyone in their right mind could take that verse out of context is beyond me. It clearly expresses the end of times when the Rapture will take place (one left behind).

Its a shame, but GOD gives everyone the change to repent and accepted Jesus Christ. If they do not accept the preaching, move on to the next. Then again, it does not hurt to continue praying for that same person. Prayer is powerful, how much more would it be if we prayed more often selflessly?

the word of god states to love the sinner and hate the sin. not in those exact words. but i am sure you all see what i am saying. i hate homosexuality but i do love the person. not because i am gay but because i want their souls in heaven.

I hear your words, Brother & respect them totally.
I feel GOD speeking through you.

It warms my heart to know there are still some out there understanding that we need to reach out those who are blind & do not understand GOD or may not even know HE even exist.

You're right, they all need to realize that homosexuality is a sin, therefore GOD is against it!

And at the same time we are to love them as a person but despise their actions.

May GOD Bless you,

Hi Pixie, I didn't read it like that, but I just want to correct that scripture you quoted, because I read from the KJV (Italics Version) So if any homosexuals do come here, they can see that error.

Also note there are a few version to KJ, as you will see below:

The words, which are in italics, have been added by men and are not in the original scriptures. I also did a cross reference in a Hebrew and Greek interlinear Bible too, just to double check, and “men” and “women” in the next scripture is not there. They have been added.

Which are in bold and italics, for clarification purposes.

Luk 17:34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
Luk 17:35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Luk 17:36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Here are those same scriptures, without the added words of men that were placed in italics.

Luk 17:34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
Luk 17:35 Two shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Luk 17:36 Two shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

By doing this, one can get the true words and meaning from of our Creator. And as you can see, God said there shall be two in one bed. And He did not state two of one sex.

Like you said Pixie, these people can be healed, and they can get deliverance from this, but first they just need to acknowledge what they are doing is wrong. But this is half the battle, because the world tells them otherwise. God loves these people, but like us all, we need to walk away and abide in His law and not our own. Most of us are going through similar kinds of battles, because we have been brainwashed to this world.

Deliverance is there for all, if one wants it, but one needs to seek and ask for it themselves.

pixie, you are right they will use that verse to try to justify themselves. i dont think that anyone took what you wrote as being against the kjv. you simply shared exactly what it says. but i think that verse is talking about 2 men being in the same bed not as lovers but as homless or brothers or something to that nature. so i agree and think they took it out of context aswell. thank you for sharing. here are some verses that you can share if they ever tell you that again. ok

leviticus 20:13

1 corinthians 6:9-10

there is a couple for now. i am out of time so i will write more later.
