I do understand what you are saying, but you cannot take one little line of a topic. and paste it on a "Bill Board" and claim summary. The English language and The Word of God is not like that. You said: I said this: "You are suppose to let the world know you do not love it" and then you attack that summary with a "Paragraph". You took a few words out of a "paragraph" that you can post and stick to convey a bias attack instead of a common debate. I am going to say this, in the power of the "Holy Spirit" of The Lord God Almighty". You took my words out of Biblical context as a whole. And i am going to take that little portion you exploded on me and put a "comma" on it. since you have took the freedom, to put a "supposition" on it and lead it down a "highway" of your choosing.
Daniel and his fellows in babylon must have been evil to disobey then. And first century christians often did things that were considered civil disobedience. What of them? Picking and choosing scripture to bolster your arguement? Was Jesus being evil when he whipped the money changers and overturned their tables? What a rabble rouser He was. Or... perhaps, we must submit ourselves to our leaders that are for peace and order, even if their burdens on us dont seem fair at the time, like being honest in paying your taxes, obeying traffic laws, and unfair practices like eminent domain which allows govt to take your land, business or both and only give you what "they" consider a fair market value. All things that can dealt with without civil disobedience.

If my memory serves me right Brad, Daniel and his friends were commanded to go against God at the risk of their lives and refused to do so, Jesus was cleaning out his fathers house and the early Christians were defending their faith, risking their lives to do it. The scripture I cited was a command from our apostle to honour the choice of God, carrying with it a warning, and the other scripture was calling us to pray for the authorities that God has established. Far from picking out scripture to win an argument, I was in fact pointing out a scripture that was relevant to the debate. If we can't do that what is the point of debate and what is the point of Talk Jesus.

Man has logic, that he interacts with scripture and so believes he has rightly divided scripture to attain wisdom from above. Dividing scripture is where it all goes wrong, that is part of man's logic, to divide and conquer. Put everything in its neat little box, to include God sometimes. Man's logic has NO place with God's logic. Scripture talks about this. Man's greatest wisdoms is God's foolishness. Have you ever considered that there is a good reason for this? The system of logic that man uses for EVERYTHING, to include God's word (especially in this age) leaves out the spiritual. Why was it wrong of Daniel to not follow the dictate that you spoke of ( Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. the authorities that exist have been established by God, Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgement on themselves) by refusing the dictate to begin with of not eating the rich diet the babylonians put before him. He was a slave and had not the right to refuse what they gave him to eat, but he wheeled and dealed and got to eat what he believed was better for him and his fellows. He worked within the system instead of simply obeying the edit (although written after him) of Romans 13, and God stood with him and blessed him, and you would pass off that simple thing as obeying God's will. It was a SPIRITUAL wisdom that daniel was in touch with, that guided him. Things he wrote about later (he didnt keep papyrus and a stencil with him at all times), people in centuries later would call his words on paper "inspired by the Holy Spirit". How was it that he was able to know when to obey and when not to blindly obey? Was there scripture he had memorized that told him how in every situation to act (mind you when they returned to Israel, they didnt know about the law and the prophets, it was only after some documents came to light that they feared what they had lost). I am trying to explain to a blind man that reads braille (metaphorically) how what he reads doesnt really explain things "fully" the world around him. Until you are completely immersed, completely and fully baptized in the Holy Spirit, breathing it in and out daily, can you see things, that now you must trust other learned men to tell you and hope they got it right. And this was in this one small incident with Daniel. If you cant see this, how can you see the whole spiritual world around you and when to step to the right and when to the left.
My My Brad, that was a caustic post. however, I'll try to respond in a less insulting way and calmly make my points again. Daniel wished to honour God, he was asked to eat food that his faith forbade him to eat. The Spirit gave him the wisdom to enable him to continue to remain in obedience. The enemy forced him eventually to publicly choose between God and the king. This also put the king on the spot because he cared for Daniel, however, Daniel had disobeyed the king and had to pay, so he was put in the lion's den, but because Daniel found favour with God because of his obedience God tamed the lions and Daniel found more favour with the king. Those who came against the man of God were destroyed. So, everything Daniel did, he did to honour God. God has called you to accept those he has chosen to be in authority, and he has called you to pray for them, but unlike Daniel, who would face lions rather than disobey 'his' Lord, you have more insight and 'wisdom' than Daniel and are willing to disobey 'yours'. And as a man who you believe is blind and reads braille (metaphorically), I'll have you know, my optician is quite happy with my eyes, I had them tested on Wednesday.

Our GOD Is great, He does what He likes, Just because He cast bread to "Dogs"still does not make them "Saints"!
We have come to the great era of the Great falling away, Falling away from what? Of true Christians Falling Away from the Love of "The Word of GOD!" We are sure not talking about sinners, falling away! How can you fall away from a place you never been! Sinners have never followed the Word of God, why, because they don't know Him. How can they follow a person they don't even know and never even heard His voice. True Christians Are falling away even those who have never mature. But always have been a bunch of "Rebellious teenagers', some as much as 40 years in that state.
Mercy and Grace is slowly coming to an end in this generation, time is running out. Jesus is coming back as "KING" and Judge" and a "Conqueror" with a "IRON ROD" "DANGER" DANGER" DANGER" is "Riding a white Horse" for some, hard times are approaching. The Restrainer is loosing bit by bit, a little there a little here, but mankind is getting worst and worst, The Word "REPENTANCE" is dying a slow and sure death, all across this land. Only the blind who cannot see this. and those who has given a blind eye to the truth.
We are called to warn people! We called to go into places, when we tell them the truth, they will kill us, we are called to call out to the "ELECT of GOD" they are the only ones who will hear, the rest wants to kill you! The Elect of God was Chosen before the Foundations of The World! and When you speak they hear the CHRIST that is in you! We love by giving the message, by doing good to those who mistreat us, we "heaps coals of fire upon their heads" upon the NON-elect! For it makes GOD the Father burns with THE FIRE of Vengeance!
