Just something I stumbled upon while studying one day.

The root word from in which we derive the word pornography is found in the Bible. Revelation 17:5 where it says "MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH," the word "harlots" is the greek word πόρνη pornē. And God calls us to come out of Babylon in Revelation 18:1-4.

These are just some thoughts that you can maybe share with individuals who might think that pornography is okay.

Absolutely Prodigal. That's a good point. I think sex is a huge weapon that Satan uses against believers. Porn is a hook that he tries to get into you, so that you will become addicted to HIS system. For most people it's money or security. For others it may be respectability or luxury, or drugs, or porn, but one thing is for sure, Satan is working hard to make sure that the whole human race is enslaved one way or another, so that when the AC rises to power we will all have something tying us to him.
So yeah, what you said Prodigal, makes a lot of sense to me, and it makes sense that we should be doing what we can to free ourselves from the cares and worries of this life, but that is a lot easier said, than done!
