There is a difference , you are right . What is authentic to God , and what is authentic to man.

Hebrew scripture ( the Old Testiment )has been around much longer . And it is the Word given to the Hebrews.

The Christian Bible is a little different , yet much of the Hebrew texts were included in the origional manuscripts .

But now , i guess , we are much wiser . And can discern all God has in mind for us.

As we know Bill, the New Testament was in Greek and Aramaic. At the time of our Lord even the Jews spoke Greek.

I think it funny , with the clarity on todays " wisdom, people dont know how to reach out to bring more into the church.

We don't bring people to church Bill, we bring them to Christ, He is the Head of the church.

Does it occur to anyone, try telling the young about the beauty of the Spirit. And let that Fire of the Holy Spirit out instead of being locked in

Christ is the Light for all saved souls Bill, the world likes its own bright and flashing lights, but they are temporary, they can be switched off, they flash in the darkness they are in,

The light of Christ cannot be switched off, the darkness hasn't and cannot over come it, but they are veiled from the light due to their sins.

If you understood the depth of the Gifts you would understand everything i have explained.

The problem is, most Christians rarely use the Gifts , and what is worse , Limit God by what they are taught.

Im sure many here would say there are only 7 gifts. How many times must i repeat the words of Jesus and the Apostles , not everything was written down. You can not limit what is unlimited.

Putting God in a box doesnt work.

Who now understands the depth of the Gifts. There is such great knowledge and Wisdom in Jesus . I pray you take time to hear me brother

25 And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. Amen

What is written in the Bible is sufficient for all Bill, all people, all generations. Although many other things were carried out by Jesus, we are to consider them as similar to items already recorded, may be this is what the pope's think or thought when they change scripture!
