My bestie sent me that article link via email. She titled it, Asian Carp is racist!

I thought she was kidding.
I really wish she had been.

What's next? I know. A movement to rename highways surface materials. Because Blacktop could lead someone to think black people are like roads.

The reason makes it a lie. To say Asian, Mexican food is not racist it is simply descriptive . Am I to believe I am racist because I like Swedish meat balls over Italian ones .. the reasons we dumb people do things matters.

Only a Few will be saved, not half a few. Not some, FEW! and Many will not! MANY! It is scary and frightening, friends, love ones, neighbors, fellow workers, for many will not make it. That hurts! it HURTS! They will know why, we sounded the alarm so hard.

The kafuffle over the renaming of a fish is irrelevant to the wrongdoings of what passes for the church in the West these days.
A great many deny water baptism and the spiritual necessity for it.
A great many believe in give your heart to Jesus. A sinner's prayer.
Most Christians are not born from above and are not spiritually in the Kingdom of God.
A great majority Christians deny Mark 16 and speaking in tongues, the signs that follow a true believer and the gifts of the Spirit.
Many foolishly uphold the false doctrine of OSAS.
Homosexual priests, pastors and bishops are ordained. Women are allowed to have authority over their husbands and men.
The word of God has been replaced by praise and worship music and feel good gospels.
Worse is that so many Christians have been lied to about a rapture that will come before any great tribulation.

When the wrath of God is poured out without restraint upon this world - and it will be violent - then there will be a similar miracle equivalent to the time of Moses when the children of Israel
residing in Goshen were spared the latter plagues.
The body of Christ will be spared the worse of what is to come, but those that God considers not to be in the church of God will suffer with all the worldly peoples as well.

Baptism by immersion is done as a testimony to others as to the decision that has already been made in the person's heart. The heart belief has already taken place. It's usually the first step a born again believer takes After their salvation. And sometimes a person Can't be baptized by immersion. People who accept Christ as their personal Savior on their death bed. Some kids or teens who accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. If their parents are of a belief system that believes sprinkling is enough -- have been told by the parent that they can be baptized when they turn 18 if they want to be. And that Did happen with the granddaughter of friends of ours many years ago. Yet, she was very 'saved'.

The Mark 16 passage - - the context is important -- vs 14 Jesus Christ appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table, and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen.
He told them, specifically -- that in His Name they would do those following things. That only applied to those 11 -- many people who are born again don't speak in tongues -- nor do they pick up snakes nor drink deadly things without getting hurt. , etc. That was setting them apart. At that particular time.

OSAS -- is Not a false doctrine

You -- the group you worship with are misapplying Scripture -- to be saved -- look at 1 Corinthians 15: 1-4 and Romans 10:9-10 for 'to be saved'.

Speaking in tongues is one of many spiritual gifts -- in fact Paul suggests that it's more edifying to speak a language that all will understand than speak in a way that Isn't edifying the group.

There has Always been tribulation -- but it's the coming 7 yrs tribulation that is questioned so much as to when the rapture will take place. And, yes, the rapture will take place Prior to those 7 yrs.

A person is considered to be the Bride of Christ / the Church when they accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

But then.... are they really "Christians"? If Christian means following Christ, and they aren't really following Christ, then....

It is interesting that a great many churches, push non-baptism almost to the point where they teach God doesn't want you be baptized.
These same churches preach against good works almost to the point where they believe God doesn't want you to do any good works.
Many of these churches don't practice the baptism of the Holy Spirit and deny the gifts of the Holy Spirit. You don't see any of these gifts active in their churches today, some even claim God doesn't do this anymore.
OSAS is just straight up bad doctrine of course.
Some large churches have turned their music ministry into false doctrines, mix partial verses, and turn the love of God into some romantic thing where we hug and kiss God.
We have plenty of people here on TalkJesus that follow these teachings, and the whole time claim to be following the Bible. When you point things out, they suddenly get passive-agressive and say you are judging them.
But then tomorrow they are right back, where they left off.
