@ PloughBoy -- so it sounds like you equate being a Christian as being a 'world's view' but being the sons/ daughters of God as being Godly.
The term 'Christian' was at first used to ridicule those who followed Jesus Christ in the New Testament. But it 'took' as a Positive way of referring to those who were following Christ's way of living. A Christian being Christ-like.
I think you misspoke when you said "I know what I am better than anyone else" -- what you probably meant is that "I know that I'm not better than anyone else".
Our heavenly Father knows exactly who each one of us is. He knows who everyone is who Isn't one of His sons/ daughters.
Every one has a view and words of their own self, disposition, Then we have others who try to define them by their own words. For this is the way of the world it seems. I have no solid opinion of others, but many i do know, they are not like me. I am no better that others, if my speech seems harsh, it is because I am " a sinner" but saved under grace. Not by my choice, but chosen of GOD! But I know there are others who tries to define my Life and tell me who i am,
"For who among men knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of the man, which is in him? even so the things of God none knoweth, save the Spirit of God. But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is from God; that we might know the things that were freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not
in words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Spirit teacheth; combining spiritual things with spiritual words .
"Now the
natural man receiveth
not the things of the Spirit of God: for t
hey are foolishness unto him; and
he cannot know them, because they are spiritually judged. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, and
he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ."
PS. you miss read that because I didn't punctuated it right. sorry. We must read everything in context, my syntax is not always correct, I am no editor for sure. Post "7
"I know what i am, better than anyone else" The comma was missing. meaning "i know me better than anyone else" My bad.
