Can we hear your unreserved condemnation of the Russian decision to invade Ukraine and the destruction and loss of life that has resulted from this?

There's no evidence on this thread of you concerned for the people who have lost homes, family members, been injured already in the war. Nor is there any sign after all these posts that you are praying for peace.

I hope that's not the case in reality, but the impression given is that you are enjoying just stirring up controversy around this deadly conflict.

I can't speak for andyindauk, but I think that is at the heart of what has disturbed him. It certainly disturbs me.

Sure along with my unreserved condemnation of the U.S.A. and NATO and Australia and all who do war.
As Spirit-filled Christians we have the discernment that all worldly people are under sin. Violence and bloodshed and especially war are gross behaviours of those that scripture portray as brutish beasts.

This thread is not about doctrine and salvation - ye must be born from above by water and Spirit - this thread is about Russia invading Ukraine which is part of The Buzz > News Stand.
Alas there are some here on TalkJesus who are foolishly thinking in natural terms as to who is good and who is evil.
Whatever claim the Christian West may of had to moral decency and a Biblical based legal system that is long gone. The West has fallen and is evil and un-Godly with every wickedness under the Sun.
On the other hand Putin's Russia is enjoying a momentous Christian Orthodox revival which unashamedly preaches Christian civilization and is solidly anti woke and anti neoliberal.
Putin and the Russian church talk openly of defending and promoting Christian civilization and defending Russia from the moral decay and decadence of the West.
There is no homosexual marriage and adoption of children by same-sex couples in Russia. But in the West celebrates and defends this abomination.
I believe that God has raised up Russia from the broken and un-Godly atheistic society it was under the Bolsheviks to become the instrument of God's will to bring the West to judgement.
Is Russia an evil agent and the collective West are not?? Not so. All are evil and belong to the prince of this world.
In the end the great sin is war itself and all are guilty of such - war and violence is the history of the world.

Dear Brethren,
To those who look to Jesus Christ the purveyor of our Salvation.

From informational to personal. Regardless of the position you hold you'll not be justified in attacking each other in the belief you have done right by the killing of brethren who are on both sides of this devastating war in Ukraine.

My hope is that the amount of time you spend on this thread, and the time to research what justifies the position you hold is out done by the time spent on your knees praying for your brethren on both sides, and especially for those who don't know our Savior Jesus Christ who have no hope.

I'm closing this thread for a day or two and hopefully when it reopens it can go back to informational, instead of personal.
