And the US Government came back and retracted what he said. Both about regime change, and troops going to the Ukraine. Sadly, the US President, is getting up there in age, and many believe has difficulty mentally processing information given to him. Happens at times to the best of us. If you were to ask my wife, she'd probably tell you I do as well!!!

576,000 children were killed by these sanctions. (The New York Times, 12-1-1995)

The 60 Minutes interviewer, Leslie Stahl, asked Albright: "We have heard that half a million children have died. I mean, that's more children than died in Hiroshima. And, you know, is the price worth it?"

Former Secretary of State, Madeleine Albright, replied: "I think this is a very hard choice. But the price – we think the price is worth it." (May, 1996)
