Yep, when news reports are most likely more one sided in war reports, it has the smell of “propaganda” big time.
Another form of trying to win a war, like throwing a rock then hiding your hand.
And we know what side of the west is on!

For many of countries now and have been suffering from genocide and warlords and lack of water and food. Now even. They ain’t going to get 500 million dollars in aid.

We cannot get good health care and a hospital bed for a over night stay, we cannot afford the food bill to stay there over night.

A couple of years ago my wife who worked for the state, with state health care was in the hospital over night, call me up the next day and told me to hurry and come pick her up, before they serve “Lunch” because lunch there was high as a dog it had the prices on the menu! In the hospital bed

Sadly, it's this current Administration that is doing nothing, but watching, and are basically incompetent when they do decide to do something!
Example is that this Administration gave Intelligence that they had on Russia showing they were going to attack the Ukraine to China back in November in the hope that they could convince Russia not to attack the Ukraine. Of course, you know what happened...China gave Russia the intel the US gave to them and did nothing else!!!

My heart goes out to the poor people of Ukraine who've done nothing wrong and yet find themselves on the receiving end of missiles, bombs and indiscriminate gunfire aimed at anything that moves, civilians, even children sent by a power crazy who thinks that Russia isn't big enough. Can we please all pray for our lovely brothers and sisters who are right in the middle of it all? It's a tragedy that's unfolding by the day.

I don't normally comment on other countries politicians but I have to say I'm hearing very little from Joe Biden other than hand wringing in righteous indignation which is probably preferable to his predecessor who'd probably be sending aid and weapons to Russia were he still in power.

Today's Ukraine is a product of a "pro-Western" coup d'état orchestrated by Obama, John McLain and Victoria Nuland in 2013/14 that ousted the pro-Russian government and replaced this with a sponsored anti-Russian government.
Then came the neo-Nazis - the ultra-nationalistic Ukrainians that formed para military units and entered politics. All extremely anti-Russian and willing to destroy Ukraine's industrial economy in order to pursue
the hope of E.U. and NATO membership.
This new government started off by prohibiting the Russian and Hungarian languages in schools and government services, etc. That is a denial of the culture and history of some 30% of Ukrainians.
In response to the anti-Russian policies of the new coup d'état regime in Kiev Russian speaking people in the eastern Donbas region formed two self proclaimed republics - Donetsk and Luhansk.
The Azov Battalion, a white supremist Nazi army complete with SS insignia, have been shelling and sniping these two breakaway regions with some 15,000 Russian speaking Ukrainians killed since 2014.
For eight years the Ukrainians have snubbed their noses at the negotiated Minsk Agreements that could bring peace to this war and help reintegrate the Donetsk and the Luhansk with Ukraine.
The Minsk Agreements were brokered by Germany, France, Russia and Ukraine. But over the last eight years Germany and France did nothing to urge Ukraine to desist from continuing the war in the eastern Ukraine.
The Western mainstream media also gave no coverage or promoted any concern for the indiscriminate attacks on civilian populations in the Donetsk and the Luhansk. Some 15,000 people have been killed by the Ukrainians.
Where are the tears from those in the West??

Ukraine is merely a pawn to be used by the U.S.A., NATO and the E.U. to conduct a proxy war against Russia who threatens to continuation of the globalist unipolar financial and political world order.
The West lied to Ukraine about NATO membership.
They knew it was a red line for Putin since 2007 and one he reiterated many times over since then. But empires do not heed those viewed as not having equivalent power.

Putin won a landslide victory with a pitifully low turn out in his last election having spent the previous 5 years locking up and assassinating all his rivals and opposition.

My post is not about this prototype anti-Christ, Putin, it's about the poor innocent citizens of a country that are currently being bombed by multiple missile launchers and jet fighters and shot at by tanks and infantry. My post also highlighted that a good proportion of those citizens are our brothers and sisters in Christ.

How you can come into a Christian forum as an apologist for and justifying war crimes beggars belief.

Let's keep it civil in our discussions on this thread and be praying for our Brothers & Sisters in Christ Jesus in both countries and elsewhere.

Do we rejoice if any of our brethren die be they in Russia or Ukraine? I hope not. Because our allegiance is not to these earthly governments we live in, but for God's Kingdom, who we are Ambassadors of!

Also, don't think that the populace in Russia likes this war either, but when do our national leaders every listen to what their people really want? They're mostly care about themselves, and whatever agendas they have in the works that again will benefit themselves first and foremost.

I agree that racial hatred is a problem right through Europe and it's a bigger problem right through Eastern Europe and those countries do little to address it, a good example is the racist chants in Champions League football matches which more often than not are swept under the carpet. The further east you go, the worse it gets.

In the UK just calling someone the N word will have you hauled up in the magistrates court. Both political parties are committed to stamping out racism but it's a shame that that doesn't stretch to the enforcers of the law, the police. The Metropolitan Police commissioner has just been forced to resign following a high level report that concluded that racism is rife in the force which covers the whole of London. Typically black murder victims are assumed to be drug dealers and black victims of crime generally are too often fobbed off and I doubt that is a problem unique to London.

I read too many news articles from over the pond where police assume innocent black citizens are assumed to be armed criminals and shot fist, ask questions later. Lately though there is a groundswell of protest following such incidents and after long delays the perpetrators are eventually charged and found guilty, possibly due to social media pressure whereas 10 - 20 years ago it got swept under the carpet.

I also understand that white supremacy is a major and growing problem in the US. So back to your point, there is nowhere on plant Earth where people live where racism isn't an issue because racism is a sin and sin is endemic in mankind.

No, I am saying, bias and propaganda is played in war on both sides. Ukrainian people was well informed what was to come! They should have been long gone. God would never in The New Covenant would ever have any die for a piece of dirt! Jesus has never told us to die for a country that HE will destroy!
