I am sorry we have not achieved the level of maturity you have. Forgive us where we have failed you. Most of those who post here have serious hurts, illness's and emotional issues. Some are not christians, some are so hurt that they that all they can do is be critical and make harsh judgements, and threaten the form to leave. I am not a moderator, but I can see that you are a hurting lady that needs ministering too rather than trying to reach out to be a ministering servant. Perhaps if you could share where you are hurting we might be able to undergerd you in prayer and encourage you with Scripture. By leaving you only hurt yourself, why not reconsider?

I am sorry farout if I sounded like I was saying I am more mature than others.far from it.

I am just sad by attitudes and what seems to be digs made at people continually.

And even more dissillusioned thta one of my posts here was removed by a mod saying it was undermining. That was not true I didn't undermine or name anybody.

I stick my neck out here and say Talk Jesus is a great place but it needs some trimming from the top downwards. Some people seem to rule the house and chop people down. And because of there position the. Then goodthreads loose there initial meaning cos they are turned into. A joke or argument.

I too worried to report posts because of who I would be reporting.

This is what I see the problem is.

I realize Talk Jesus is free although the idea of it being a privilege seems to be tainted with a hint of superiority and unequal biased and being not who you are in Christ but who you are buddies with at times it must take a lot of work to keep Talk Jesus as clean as it is in respect to the many profane elements in this world and on the internet

There is a level of tension here as well as a select few who do sway things their way and get away with it and from what mackem lady says to which I agree to report such posts or members is scary and does not leave you at peace
posting here for example what I am writing is probably viewed by those who can not be questioned as contentious and trouble making but I do not agree that mackem lady is being so minded and I know that I am not wanting this BUT at the same time how can members like me and mackem lady and others ever state their case in a way that is transparent to all in this online community and what will be done ever to change any of it

I received a very nasty pm for example from a longtime moderator

most moderators are kind and helpful but I feel threatened and to top it off I have been forced to change my style of being me and conform to normal formatting as I am trying to do here and I seriously am concerned that not only am I sticking my neck and head out too much now but that if I do not conform to a standard type of formatting then I will be duly and abruptly banned
while Talk Jesus is a free online community and is generally a nice place to have online fellowship it will attract people like me and the thousands of others it has but it is very transitory and few ever stay around for long and I honestly think that mackem lady has hit the nail on the head with her thread here and that it does become either saddening to see the bullying and patronizing by a few or a sickening feeling when you see that people have been snubbed in such a way that the snubber(s) gets away with it the same one usually all the time and what is more sad from a Christian point of view is that a person who posts things that are misleading and subtle like the serpent in the garden is protected by the very people who are meant to be keeping everyone safe here
and this is only part of what can be seen here

yes I stick my head out with mackem lady and even further so that it all falls on me instead of her if it falls sharply at all BUT how else can we members say anything and how can others who feel the same agree or comment or do anything helpful like some of the repliers to this post who have offered kind words and excuses

sorry if my post is getting too long and if I am slipping back into being the me that I am instead of sticking strictly to the rules but can you see that not everyone sticks to the rules always and that there IS a schism here and there is one or two members who seem totally untouchable and that it is pointless to name them either publicly or in pm to the administrator @ Chad because of the connections that have formed here are stronger and the allegiance to friends is stronger than the allegiance to Christ and His members Whose members we all are

I used his post as an example of the subtle biased seen here and I do ask that this place might be open enough to all who trust it to be a safe place that bot only will posts and threads like these be acknowledged honestly but that we as a community can feel at peace to be able to raise concerns without having to go behind closed doors

am I to be snuffed out because I agree with a valid point
or because I warned some about a universalist who has been posting universalism bits but most do not see it because they don't know what unversalism is about and also because of a longtime contribution policy where you can be indemnified more than others (which is what it appears to the outsider)
or because I format my posts in a different manner and am disrespectful to who knows who for doing so (on that note I have to ask - how many read a center reference Bible the ones that have a line down the middle of the page forcing the reader to read down more than across?) surely it would be very very difficult to read it?

Everyones Not walking in the same Light !That does not make them less in His body and church ! also some are not saved and the LORD leads them here to reveal truth to them , they might be saved or have SEEDS of Truth planted within them . They might come to the Lord Later ?

some are growing in truth ! but many here plant seeds of truth even to each other ! we can learn from others here ! Many here Love the LORD and only want to share , expecting nothing in return , not even LOVE !

Sometimes reports take time to deal with. Sometimes they are warning a user. I don't believe they make it public when a user is warned.
I suggest being patient and prayerful. The moderators have real lives outside of this forum and as they said they truly care about the state of this forum. If it is an issue of bad theology and twisting the word of God, then they are probably going to deal with that sooner than a report of someone being rude.

WE are Guests on this site! Kind of like being in another persons home ! They have people working here and judging what is posted ! These people will decide if things are ok or NOT ! if not they tell other posters what they did wrong ! If they count it ok ! Then they do nothing ! We not goingb to control others ourselves !

These judging here are pretty Good at what there job is ! I found no problem with them and i been coming here a long time ! Not saying they judge perfectly always ! But i like it here Fine!



I have been called into Question here before ! I have no problem with that i rebuked a person once i precieved was trying to lead people astray ! They were saying that there was another way for salvation ,other than though my LORD JESUS and i believed they knew the truth and yet was serving satan !

i guess in all the years i preached on the net , only a few timnes have i gotten upset and rebuked others i knew at least thought they were serving satan on purpose ! Some say things they think is truth ! i do not mind , unless i am sure they want to trick others on purpose ! satan has his kids just as our LORD DOES ! Many just are doing the best they can ! This site helps many who do not know the truth !There are many here who really LOVE our LORD and try there best to help others with Truth out of LOVE ! I would yeild to them always ! And put my self aside willingly ! Pretty Good teachers are this site i believe !

I have just joined this site. Hearing all of these negative comments is so unfortunate. Talk Jesus is the heading of this website and so isn't supposed to be about, love, understanding, fellowship, and one of the most important, wisdom? Hearing other peoples comments and learning from some of the things they talk about helps keep our faith growing stronger. All you need to do is just ignore the negative comments, and keep your positive thoughts and testimonies pouring into this site. There may be a lost soul out there that might read it, and change their life completely over to Jesus. Wouldn't that be such a blessing? God Bless You Abundantly.

Hi Richard. This is a pretty cool place, so not let this discourage you. There will always be some disagreement whenever two or more human beings are gathered together. It is all in the way you see it, see others, and how much grace you are willing to give.

TalkJesus has been a tremendous blessing to a lot of people, I for one can testify how much joy it has brought me, comfort, fellowship, friendship, encouragement - this to me is TalkJesus. And yes it is sad to see that arguments brings this place down. We are from different places & races, but we are all here because of Jesus. I agree I think we should look for peace rather than a fight.

But even Jesus called certain people hypocrites, vipers, snakes, and sons of hell. Even God said he hated certain people and certain things.

We need to beware of pleasing men or pleasing God.

Gal 1:10; For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ.

Again, I can't speak for those who run this board, but I sympathize with them.
On one hand I think certain people refuse to listen to the Bible, they feel most of it doesn't apply to them anyway. My personal opinion is...

Prov 22:10 Drive out the scoffer, and contention will go out, Even strife and dishonor will cease.
1 Cor 5:13 But those who are outside, God judges. REMOVE THE WICKED MAN FROM AMONG YOURSELVES.

I'm not talking about unbelievers searching for answers, or Christians struggling with sin.

So the problem becomes, who are these people. The left side of the room is pointing to the right, and the right side of the room is pointing to the left.
I sometimes try to avoid certain threads and certain people, but sometimes I feel like I am being stalked in every thread for every post.
I think it's OK for people to disagree and have their say. I don't think it's OK to keep allowing unbiblical teachings.
I try not to take these things personal, I try not to even defend myself. But I do try to defend the Gospel.
