I think that people have been trying to figure out Revelations ever since the day it was written.

Unless the Lord is specifically told you something, more than likely you will not know anything. Because you just plainly don't know when it starts. There are so many different interpretations of the very first seal for instance, that it makes it difficult to figure things out.

But I will put my two cents worth in, if you read the very last line of the six seal. You will see that people realize, that when that day comes, they will know it is the Great Day of the Lord

Things didn't happen the way they thought at His first advent, and I'm pretty sure things won't happen the way we think at His second.

I think the point of it all is to be ready. There will be nothing we can do when that ball starts rolling.

Whether you believe we will be here for the great tribulation or not, we all need to be ready. That is what we all share in common.

There is a lot of truth to that.

It also helps when you can figure out the point of origin for the horsemen. To go south , west and east , they have to start from somewhere.

Yes. I took a fast look in the posts of this topic, and I perceived the discussion was very squeezed around the fig tree, I mean Israel, as if it were now again full of leaves as my Lord JESUS found it, and even thinking that the fig tree now may even have fruit to offer. Will be it?

We know that in the beginning our Omnipotent GOD planted the tree of life in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

The vine was/is the tree of life. JESUS said: I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing-John 15:5. JESUS is the true vine, in JESUS was life; and the life was the light of men-John 1:4.

My first thought, ( my eyes are rolling) Abraham's seed - children, is there a difference.

I find Christians in this websight way too picky. As if God never gave us a brain to understand.

Kind of like using Sunday as the "only" day we worship Him. How retarded is that. Isn't it true, God created all 7 days in the week. So what if a person uses Saturday or Wednesday or Monday. We should be praising God that a person worships God on any day of the week.

So i refer to the offspring of Abraham as his seed. They are also his offspring, his children. And we can not make that claim. But scripture declares us as the adopted children.
