The faith "of" Jesus Christ

Ephesians 2:8
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Grace is that we don't have to work at purifying ourselves by getting circumcised and sacrificing animals for their blood, etc (the works of the law/purification works).

We only have to have faith in Jesus' blood purifying us now---OF THE SINS WE REPENT OF DOING.

We still have to obey Jesus to get saved, we just don't have to get circumcised anymore.

Purified/sanctified/justified/righteous works in the old testament:

The Burnt Offering; The Grain Offering; The Fellowship Offering; The Sin Offering; The Guilt Offering; Dietary Laws; Purification After Childbirth; Cleansing From Infectious Skin Diseases; Cleansing From Mildew; Discharges Causing Uncleanness; The Day of Atonement; Rules for Priests; The Sabbath; Firstfruits; The Passover and Unleavened Bread; Feast of Weeks; Feast of Trumpets; Feast of Tabernacles; Oil and Bread Set Before The LORD; the Sabbath Year; The Year of Jubilee; Circumcision.

Purified/sanctified/justified/righteous works in the new testament:

Grace in that Jesus does all those works for us now.

How do we get saved now?

We get saved by doing what Jesus tells us to do to get saved.

We have to believe that we have to obey him.

He tells us to change like a little child ready to only do everything what God the Father says to do.

Have you done that?

That takes humbleness.

Jesus tells us we have to humble ourselves.

We have to know what are sins are and confess and repent of them.

We have to promise to die to the sins of the world---crucify ourselves to sin and live to please Jesus.

We are to call on Jesus to help us, to save us, to give us his Spirit, himself, to make his home in our heart, to live with us.
