The Myth of saying that God Loved all men in the world without exception !

If God Loved us !

2 Thess 2:16-17

16Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,

17Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.

If God Loved all men without exception as false religion says, then all men without exception should by God be given [not offered] everlasting consolation and good hope through Grace !

The basis of these gifts is the Love of God. Those God Loves He gives Eternal Comfort and Good Hope.5

Because as you well know that those God loves he also chastises and corrects.

For the LORD disciplines those he loves, and he punishes each one he accepts as his child." Heb 12:6 NLT

What about you? Are you able to determine whom God Loves without seeing the beginning or the end, and just the now?
Have you ever wondered why if God only loves His, why the Gospel is to be presented to all?

And then he told them, "Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. Mark 16:15-16 NLT

So, when it is all said and done, do you know one from the other and can be selective in whom you should love?

I'll be honest to you brother. I love them all, even though I may not like some very much! Why? Because my Lord died for them too. Which is what we share.

With the Love of Christ Jesus.

That's black and white thinking. It's saying that everybody goes to heaven (Universalism) or everybody goes to hell (Unilateral Condemnation) unless God decides to save an individual, and he only saves those he loves. This is backward thinking.

God does offer everlasting salvation (your "everlasting consolation and good hope through Grace"). But not all accept his offer.

AND YOU MIXED UP THE WORDS ... (AGAIN).

It's BY Grace THROUGH Faith.... not "through GRACE".

How come you people can't seem to read the words as they are actually written?

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
(Ephesians 2:8 KJV)

Egads.... If you can't read the words right, then you'll certainly mess up your understanding of them. And if you don't understand them, you shouldn't be preaching.

God's grace (his offer) YOUR FAITH (your acceptance).

Is this entire thread just about you trying to convince yourself that you're right, even though you know you're wrong?

As we bless our enemies,

If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
(Luke 11:11-13 KJV)

READ THE WORDS..... YOU have to ask.

Or do you think yourself so special that you don't have to ask? That you're better than the teachings of Jesus?

@Christ4Ever

Because as you well know that those God loves he also chastises and corrects.

Correct, and I mentioned that earlier in a post. Now scripture indicates some are not chastened but bastards, so are they loved by God still ? Heb 12:6-8

6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

7 ;If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

Notice, some be without chastisement !

Its scriptural, lining up scripture with scripture, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. So the fruit of Gods love is being given hope. Grace and consolation, all spiritual blessings 2 Thess 2:16

Want to answer the rest of the questions? :) No problem if you don't.
I understand that they don't all cover the gist of the topic, but they are probably more pertinent to who we are in Christ Jesus.
For they'll be the ones that either get us warm fuzzies (joy), or chastisement in Him.

Why do you add in words? The word salvation is not present in the verse. YOU had to ADD it. This lies at the very heart of your confusion - adding in words.

Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
(2 Thessalonians 2:16 KJV)

This passage was not speaking about Salvation but Endurance in the persecutions that come after one has been saved.

When you can't use the right words, it shouldn't be surprising when you don't find the right doctrines.

Its scriptural, lining up scripture with scripture, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
When one compares the wrong words, one arrives at wrong beliefs.

Your entire thread is riddled with this, like wormholes.

But I am grateful that you finally reveal yourself to be a follow of Paul, and not of Jesus. I posted the very words of Christ himself, and you chose to dismiss these with words from Paul - the least in the kingdom of the heavens.

Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
(Matthew 5:19 KJV)

If God Loves everyone without exception as it is falsely preached these days, what does His Love have to do with one being saved ? It would have nothing to do with it, since millions whom God Loved will be tormented forever and ever for their sins. To hear these false teachers tell it, God Loved eternally those, just as much as He did those who shall be Glorified with Him forever !

But scripture is clear that it is because of God's Great Love for His Elect that they are saved Eph 2:4-5

4But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

5Even when we were dead in sins
, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved )

Those who believe God Loved all men without exception, say this Great Love that saves is powerless to save all whom He Loved !

There is the whole of scripture that proves Yehovah loves every, single, person on this Earth and failing that being understood, there are living example right here on our personal home-fronts.

In mine, my only child rushed away from me in a mall parking lot and the driver stopped, just inches from hitting him.

He sinned against me and I tore his butt up with the palm of my hand. I still loved him but punished him. His mother divorced me when he was eight, and took up with a string of drunks and my son died a professional criminal. I despise criminals but I still love him. He will suffer eternally for his unrepented sin but I love and so does God.

I would have gone into the Lake in his place, but that is not possible. My wife just called me to the side of her bed to say she loves me and will see me on the other side. My heart aches Thank you for the intersession.

1 Jn 4:9-10

9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

If God Loved all men without exception as some falsely assert, then it is His Purpose that they live [spiritually] through Christ, because He was sent into the world to be a propitiation for their sins, so if all without exception do not live spiritually, but remain dead in sin, God in His Love has failed in that Purpose, there is simply no other conclusion ! 5

there is simply no other conclusion !
That probably would be the case if you believed that God did not give humanity free will.
God gave us the most precious of gifts in Christ Jesus. You are welcome to receive it or not.

For the wages of sin [is] death, but the gift of God [is] eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23 NKJV

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; [it is] the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 NKJV

Thanks [be] to God for His indescribable gift! 2 Corinthians 9:15 NKJV

You placing freewill over the Love of God and Death purposes of Christ, thats exalting the will of man over Gods will

Not at all. It's because God loves us that we have free will, to choose to be His or not.
You see it as it must be this one or that one, with freewill over the Love of God and Death, which I do not. I see it as another aspect of how great His Love is for His Creation.

Yes at all. You elevate man over God. You may want to leave it alone. You believe the lie that God loves all mankind, now you elevating mans will over the mighty purposes of God.
