Think I'm going to hell?

So then by your logic it's God who lets people die in unbelief.
  • It is not my logic, it is the Bible.
  • Maybe God does, I have no credentials to say what God does or what he does not do.
  • If you are saying, that I am saying that God makes you believe...you are wrong.
  • What I am saying is that humans don't make belief, God does....whether you accept it is up to you!
  • Revelation 3:20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.
  • The key here is if anyone hears and opens

I disagree with your logic. (Im sorry, but i have you at a disadvantage) God doesnt create people to go to hell. Anyone who loves from thier heart has God in them already.

Have you never read. "For those who know the Law will be judged by the Law. And for those who do not know the Law they will be judged by the Law written in thier hearts."

Some people just can't convince themselves that they are saved.
Yes, and there are others who take it to the other extreem. That because they are saved they can sin continually. And it is ok, because they are saved. Ive heard it preached.

Greetings all,

may i remind all present posters that this thread is originally about the OP?

I can see that it might get back there and all the round about talk may prove useful but please keep your replies prayerful and peaceful, to the glory of God and for the help and benefit of all other readers especially in this case the Member who started this thread.

Perhaps pop back to the 1st post and refresh your memories?

That is so odd, I keep hearing this from a few people, " I can sin all I want" theology, yet in all my years, I have never heard someone say this, much less preach it. If you have, your're hanging out with the wrong people!

Hey Brother, I was in a face book group called Basic theology and they never came out and said that, but they suggested it, for example they said when it says in the bible nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. that the bible is not speaking of salvation but only rewards, they teach that fruit inspecting is a no no you can never know the fruit of someone. I left this group, but they basically suggested we are all sinners and there is no difference in practicing sin and stumbling in sin. They also preached NO repentance is required for salvation.

O yea they also said NO CHANGE is needed or will be noticed

I dont hang out at those churches. But i do go where the Lord tells me to go. When at churches like these, i will talk to the preacher. Sometimes the Spirit is like a fire in me, i have to interupt the service. In those cases, scripture poors through my mind, and preach. I consider the ministers who preach this thinking as poison to thier parishioners.

A preacher gave me a book to read. It is titled 'Done'. The auther teaches the same. You dont have to do anything to be saved. Not only does the book contradict the scripture, but it contradicts itself to.

I later asked the preacher if he had ever read it. He said no. He soley took it from a friend and at his word passed them out.

I told the preacher it is false teaching.

I also wrote the auther of the book. He didnt like my rebuttal and rejection of his book.

Hebrews 10:26 Dear friends, if we deliberately continue sinning after we have received knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice that will cover these sins.
  • I think the above verse is a definitive answer to those false acclamation's.
  • For those who preach this, this verse comes to mind: Matthew 7:21 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

Some like to use the example of the thief on the cross as saying he didnt do anything and still went to Paradise.

The fact of the matter about the thief on the cross, he did four things. He repented (told the world he was a thief), showed faith, he had compassion (a form of selfless love) and he recieved Jesus.

Right on. I love that verse. Matt. 7:21

Yes that was a moto they would always say something like "salvation equals faith plus nothing" or something along those lines, I got into it with the moderators often and finally left the group when I saw they would not change

I was on another chat before coming here. Infact someone that was fed up with that chat told me of this sight.

He also warned me of how thier thinking wasnt about God as it was more about themselves.

After writing some articles, i felt like i was going in circles and quit. But the Lord sent me back. I really didnt want to be there, but the Lord had me write serveral posts. I was honestly amazed at some of the responces. I was appalled by what some said. When i was finished writing the articles. The Lord said to me, they are unteachable. And i left.

I want to apologize about coming off rudely at your question as to when i was saved. I honestly dont know when. Ever since i was young, 3 or so i can remember being very close to Jesus. He has always been in my heart. Even as a child i has many mystical experiences with Jesus and with Angels.

I studied for a number of yrs to be a minister.

While in college. I physically heard God speak to me. There was no doubts in my mind who it was. That would have been Christmas '78. On July 13, 1979 i had an experience i will never forget. I was living in an apartment at the time. It was about 2pm. I was reading the bible. The room suddenly got very cold. I could see my breath. A presence came into the room. I knew it was Satan. I dont know how i knew, but i knew it. He asked me a question, he showed me all he would give me if i just bow down and follow him. It was like a video in my mind. I said to him "no way, get away from me Satan. Protect me Jesus". Immediately he was gone.

Then i felt a second presence. I knew immediately it was the Lord. I could feel His love for me, His warmth. He asked me a question, and as before i saw everything like a video.

I said yes..

After the Lord left i began having all sorts of visions. Day and night.

Since that time i refer to this path im on now as my spirit walk with God.

Im married, have 5 children and 2 grandchildren. My wife is very familiar with Gods work in me. And im thankfull the Lord brought her into my life. She has experienced a few things to.

Sincerely, Bill
