Thinking this b the place for this

Are you kidding? Jesus says if you don't forgive then YOU WON'T be forgiven by his Father.

Does that scare you at all?
@Bill

Those that have trouble forgiving others ; Jesus can help, but if they prefer not to but hold unto that grudge, then they risk being left behind from the Marriage Supper in Heaven because if thy enemy is there, that means Christ has forgiven him as He did you and so it is best to forgive now knowing it is for this point that we suffer because Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners.

And believe it or not, those saints left behind are still sons for why God the Father is still the Father to them but they will get a scourging ( a whipping ) per Hebrews 12:1-11 & Luke 12:40-49 for not forgiving others as well as for not resisting sin by giving the devil a place by their anger to commit sin when allowing the sun to go down on their wrath for which that wrath is actually giving the devil place per your anger.

James 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

Ephesians 4:25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
27 Neither give place to the devil.

28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Actually no difference at all. NO "UNREGENERATE" human "Knows God". and what a person believes (mental assent) isn't important. however when God DRAWS a person to Christ (conviction of SIN and of judgement), then it's Decision time for the person, and all their "Mental arguments / beliefs" don't mean spit.
But the regenerate can wind up engaging in dead works i.e. iniquity that deny Him for why they will be denied by Him when He comes as the Bridegroom.

Titus 1:15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

This is why we call those who profess Him to depart from iniquity so they too can be received by Him as vessels unto honor in His House and not be denied by Him for why they are called vessels unto dishonor in His House, and so the unrepentant regenerate can find themselves left behind, but He still abides even informer believers as vessels of wood & earth testifying to the power of God in salvation even for those that just believed in His name at one time.

2 Timothy 2:10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:
12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

2 Timothy 2:
18 Who concerning the truth have erred
, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.
19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour,
sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

I thought about this some more . The answer, definately not.

Jesus spoke to everyone using stories , versus do this or you are going to hell.

In scripture it tell us not to belittle others , just because thier faith is weak . That we are to build up people.

We all have responcibilities when it comes to teaching. You dont tell a child about reproduction until they are at an appropriate age.

Same is true in teaching about heavenly things . If a person has no thinking of angels , then sharing experiences about them can only be limited.

It is written , he shall not break the bending reed nor put out the flickering flame
Ya I didn't think one does but when I spoke to my son about the situations he said well if she didn't want the bandaid ripped of she shouldn't of started to pull it

So I was just really stuck over the situation
I see his point
I just don't think it is right to do that to any person
Idk

Greetings @Twistie

I see you wrote "Idk" which translates to "I don't know".

May I encourage you about this?

Sometimes we do not know, but that is not where it ends.

The Lord does know and we can ask Him to know, also.
We do have the Bible and we do have quickened lives whereby we can know those things that the Lord would have us to know.

I write this because I think hat you can know and encourage you to 'make up your mind' and stay strong, even if you do not know the whole 'outcome'. There are principle that we can access and decide by.

Some might go more on principals, as the letter of the law and less on the principles that Christ Jesus revealed to those who would listen.

I encourage you to be a listener... a hearer.... and then a doing person with what you hear.

Gods Peace and Mercy and Grace in Jesus Christ be with you

Bless you ....><>
