If God says the Earth and mankind will be around when He returns, is there anything we can do to circumvent this?
Eventually God is going to make a new heavens and a new Earth anyway.

Matt 24:8; But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.
Luke 21:9; “When you hear of wars and disturbances, do not be terrified; for these things must take place first, but the end does not follow immediately.”
Luke 21:10; Then He continued by saying to them, “Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom,
Luke 21:11; and there will be great earthquakes, and in various places plagues and famines; and there will be terrors and great signs from heaven
So how does a "christian" is supposed to react. His house is on fire, the trees behind his house is on flames, His sheep and cows are on fire, his horses his crops His way of living for his family, his tractor, his barn, their auto mobiles are gone, Grown men are crying like babies, they have nothing left with babies in their arms, there is no water , the roads around him and his wife and children walking while the flames of fire are all around them, no food , no water running among the flames feeling the heat of 130 -140 degrees Fahrenheit. you cannot hide.
Even the "SECULAR WORLD" IS saying there has been nothing like this, upon the earth for over 1,000's of years. Not 1 thousand, but 1,000's of years.
But 'christians" oh this is not nothing, "your homes are burning up" you do not know where your children are at your parents are at the flames, that is ok,
But yet you "love'. I may not love this world, but i do "LOVE" people and my love for people is not the "EMILY POST" Style. i have worked tor "FEMA" in great "Hurricanes" disasters zones. people. It is different when no help is coming, You do not miss your water until it is gone,
No rescue boats, in the floods snakes and vipers in the flooded waters, The father has a child on each shoulder going where. roads are destroyed planes and all communications are out. Ashes from "Volcano's" smothering the air no water no food. Parents cannot locate children, Children cannot locate or communicate with elderly parents, cell towers are out, telephones lines have been destroyed, Power plants has been destroy, The rescuers have their own family to rescue. and Covid 19 is still alive.
Know tell me if you please, "WHAT GOOD are THOSE pieces of Scripture is going to help those who are in despair while the flames of fire is swallowing them up? Their Children are dying in their arms, from starvation, dying from "thirst of water" Literally dying in "ASIA" in Africa and many more parts of the world, People dying in wars, being bomb, children blown to pieces disease stricken helpless people, and many are christians throughout the World suffering!
Tell me, and all of us how good are those partials of "Scriptures" are doing them. Should they hold up their arms in prayer and give thanks for the things they are receiving and give GLORY to GOD for HIs blesseness in their lives? tell how good are the Words you have copied. Bring them comfort or those who sense their pain?
Not one time i have notice that you have called all of us to pray for our brothers and sister who are Christ; AND that The LORD would COME quickly for they are in DESPAIR! .....And that their FAITH is being tried, and we are "Petitioning" you "FATHER" in "THE name of JESUS" "ABBA FATHER"
And many on here i believe , they think, that GOD the FATHER is more satisfied with them arguing about "TONGUES" and the different kinds of "WATER Baptism" and what their "church" is doing and how their church do it, than He cares how
we feel about His True children who are suffering around the world.

We must endure many hardships to enter the kingdom of God," they said."
How can you do it, You Petition Your FATHER in the NAME of JESUS to STRENGTHEN them to endure "The TASK" that has been set before them.
That is the kind of POWER you got!!
You can go to THE FATHER! On Their behalf! "Only if You are A TRUE CHILD of GOD"!
