I do not think that @Curtis was supporting the existence of unidentified flying objects but was posting to clarify some Scripture regarding angels as angels were mentioned in the thread? (I could be mistaken... I was once before)

As for the topic at hand, like other topics that are and have been and will be discussed, here and elsewhere, we do well to remember our first love and our commitment to Him Who we love; communicating with each other in peace and longsuffering.

One helpful place to enter a discussion such as this is to remind ourselves that discussions such as this thread can become divisive and cause issues between those who partake... and to determine to resist wholeheartedly the flesh because we know that such topics can become as battlegrounds.

I have witnessed, too often, some who pick verses and while building a form of doctrine, go about attempting to get everyone else to submit to their pseudo wisdom and resulting warped teaching. Such, usually are so bent and sold out (forgetting they have been bought with a price and have no place to become sold out) that any amount of opposition to their thoughts whether given kindly or not, is not only a fruitless attempt but can result in hostilities and/or division.

I have to scratch my head a bit when it comes to whether or whether not there are such things as..... UFO's (you can't believe everything you see and hear, can you?* ) because if they are either unidentified or unidentifiable, how can any say for sure that they have seen one? By whose identifying do we base our claim to have seen one?

As far as I have seen, there is no definitive Scripture that clearly let's the reader or hearer know without doubt that UFO's exist or that there is any other place in Creation where there are living beings, besides Earth (as it is called by men) and with God.

Speculation abounds. My Bible gives me no instruction to engage in speculation.

The mormon teaching gives place to other places, planets and solar systems, complete with all manner of fleshy desire and perversion. There are probably other cults that teach and believe likewise or similar error and falsehood.

The world is seething with extra-t... extra-teachings that many like to believe and sadly, many innocent folk have encountered something alien to truth and are convinced that all that they experience is proof.

I make it a point not to assume things that I am unsure of. Angels, both good and bad, are indeed aliens to this earth, and could account for some sightings. As to their being non angelic intelligent life forms on other planets, dont know, but.... if needed, I believe God would find a way to give all his created beings more chances to recover from sin in a trillion trillion ways if needed. Is there some limit to God that I am unaware of?

I would think a person would first have to believe in what some call "angels" as some sort of secret creation. . . not spoken of in the Bible. Creatures that have no form (created means having form) let there be. . . In that way nothing changes nothing.

The question is why did mankind develop a fake word "angel"? Coined in the 15th century much after the closing of the book of prophecy the bible with the last prophet John .

The true english translation from the Greek "angelos" is "messenger" How beautiful are the feet of the apostles shod with the gospel of peace.

it as a "invisible angel" would leave room for the imaginations of the heart leading to praying to a legion of disembodied gods . Like today that some call patron saints .

Having its foundation in the Old as a negative form of necromancy a hebrew word "darsh"
