There is an old joke about a man in a flood.
He is on the roof of his house, asking God to send help.
A boat comes by, but he declines, saying God is going to send help.
A bigger boat comes by, again he declines, saying God will send help.
Finally a helicopter lands on his roof, and again he declines, saying God will send help.
Finally the water is so deep, he can no longer touch his roof anymore, he is just about to drown
when a rescue boat pulls him out of the water. He asks God, why didn't you send help?
God says I sent two boats and a helicopter, why didn't you use them?
If a war comes... and it likely will, some people will be standing there expecting God to send help.
Sometimes, you are the boat.
Almost always ( over 99% of the time in the Bible ) God uses people to accomplish His will.
David killed Goliath. Jael killed Sisera, 300 left-handed warriors, defeated thousands of Midianites.
Samson killed 3,000 Philistines in a temple.
Sometimes, you are expected to the be the warrior that overcomes.
