Your heart seems to be in the right place my friend, but you may not find much mercy here unless you indicate a willingness to change in the direction of those applying the pressure. I am not suggesting that you do. I do however recommend growing and overcoming to you and to myself and to everyone else. We really do serve a glorious God who deserves more and better than any of us are able to give. Praise His name!

As far as using "kick the dust from my feet". Have you not been welcomed? Have you not been heard? Are you so persecuted that you could not find, not even 10 with the Love of Christ in them, that you would desire such condemnation on anyone here at Talk Jesus?

What part of "you are not God" is not understood. If you have a problem with me asking for Prayers from the Mother of God (Jesus) to that I say I am not going against what the Bible teaches. I follow Jesus my Lord and savior but I also realize that everyone has a role Jesus was Salvation, Mary brought Jesus(salvation) into the world through allowing herself to be the handmaiden of the Lord through the Holy Spirt. God planned that in the fall when Eve and then Adam brought Sin into the world by believing Satan. Mary did the opposite Under Threat of Death she believed and trusted God.

Actually, I've been admiring your valiant efforts as you waded through the negative replies of some.here.
Nowhere does the Gospel of Jesus does invite Christians to pray to and/or for the dead ... including Mary.
The Bible nowhere encourages, or even mentions, believers asking individuals in heaven for their prayers.
Neither Mary nor the host of other 'Catholic Saints' act as "intercessors" before God.
To believe that 'Catholic Saint' has more "direct access" to God than we Christians do, is entirely unsupported by Scripture ... the concept is blatantly non-Biblical.
After all, Hebrews 4:16 tells us that we, believers here on earth, can "approach the throne of grace with confidence."
"For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus", (1Timothy 2:5). There is no one else that can mediate with God for us. Since Jesus is clearly the ONLY mediator, this indicates that Mary cannot be a mediator.
Further, the Bible tells us that Jesus Christ Himself is interceding for us before the Father: "Therefore He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, because He always lives to intercede for them", (Hebrews 7:25). With Jesus Himself interceding for us, why would we need Mary or the saints to intercede for us?
I ask you 'King1' : Whom would God listen to more closely than His Son?, (Romans 8:26-27); what possible need could there be to have Mary or the saints interceding for us?

I see and understand your concern and agree to a certain degree, but the part I believe you are not realizing is that that when Terms such as "harlot church" and other derogatory terms are used and saying what I belive when I do not believe it is my duty as a follower of Jesus Christ. I must tell you that first you are hurting yourself you cause separation from God. I am Catholic and do not know the exact scriptural reference but the mouth overflows from the heart we are online so the words from our mouth are in written form but are they not still overflowing from the heart.

As far talking only Jesus if that is the rule then should we not mention peter or paul or any other. To tell the full story of Salvation (Jesus Christ) do we not have to mention all the players that God has set out for us. I am not asking anyone to convert to Catholicism or to pray to Mary, I only ask is that when we mention our objections we do them in Truth and Love. I do not believe in good concision that claim be made honestly.

If we do need to "kick the dust from our] feet", we probably don't need to say anything to anyone about it. We simply do it. For some people there may be not hope because of what they have already done, or in the case others it may simply be that it is not our job to get into that battle. God always knows. If we are paying attention and it pertains to us, He will advise.

No need to ask for forgiveness, but I readily accept the gesture and the good intention. To the extent that I am able, I forgive you. Give God the glory!

The rcc teaches that muslims and catholics have the same god....(per vatican.va) now the muslims deny Jesus is the Christ... messiah and scripture tells us that anyone who denys Christ is an antichrist and a liar..... and scripture also teaches that you cannot have the Father without the Son as they are a package..... so if the rcc has the same god as muslims who deny Christ then how could they be your brothers?

The rcc teaches purgatory which is to say No Christ needed...... hindus and muslims all have a place in heaven thru purgatory...(vatican.va)
