Isa 11:5; Also righteousness will be the belt about His loins, And faithfulness the belt about His waist.
Isa 11:6; And the
wolf will dwell with the lamb, And the leopard will lie down with the young goat, And the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; And a little boy will lead them.
Isa 11:7; Also the
cow and the bear will graze, Their young will lie down together, And the lion will eat straw like the ox.
Isa 11:8; The
nursing child will play by the hole of the cobra, And the weaned child will put his hand on the viper's den.
Isa 11:9; They will not hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain, For the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD As the waters cover the sea.
But when, where?
Isa 65:17; "For behold, I create
new heavens and a new earth; And the former things will not be remembered or come to mind.
Isa 65:18; "But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create; For behold, I
create Jerusalem for rejoicing And her people for gladness.
Isa 65:19 "I will also rejoice in Jerusalem and be glad in My people; And there will no longer be heard in her The voice of weeping and the sound of crying.
Isa 65:20 "No longer will there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, Or an old man who does not live out his days; For the youth will die at the age of one hundred And the one who does not reach the age of one hundred Will be thought accursed.
Isa 65:21 "They will build houses and inhabit them; They will also plant vineyards and eat their fruit.
Isa 65:22 "They will not build and another inhabit, They will not plant and another eat; For as the lifetime of a tree, so will be the days of My people, And My chosen ones will wear out the work of their hands.
Isa 65:23 "They will not labor in vain, Or bear children for calamity; For they are the offspring of those blessed by the LORD, And their descendants with them.
Isa 65:24 "It will also come to pass that before they call, I will answer; and while they are still speaking, I will hear.
Isa 65:25 "
The wolf and the lamb will graze together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox; and dust will be the serpent's food. They will do no evil or harm in all My holy mountain," says the LORD.
I suspect this will be on the New Jerusalem or New earth, not the New Heaven, but it's hard to quantify it specifically.
But, this does have very little to do with taking every thought captive.
2Cor 10:3; For though we walk in the flesh,
we do not war according to the flesh,
2Cor 10:4; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.
2Cor 10:5;
We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are
taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ,
2Cor 10:6; and
we are ready to punish all disobedience, whenever your obedience is complete.
2Cor 10:7; You are looking at things as they are outwardly. If anyone is confident in himself that he is Christ's, let him consider this again within himself, that just as he is Christ's, so also are we.
To me, this is about your thoughts, where your mind is...
What do you spend your time thinking about? Sex, drugs, making money, or Jesus, God, and loving your neighbor?
It's a serious question, what do you spend most of your time thinking about?
Are you taking the wrong thoughts captive, and tossing them out the window, or are you holding on to them, spending time entertaining those thoughts?
Eph 4:17; Therefore, I say this and testify in the Lord: You should no longer walk as the Gentiles do, in the futility of
their thoughts.
