I really like Jeremy Camp, Phillips Craig and Dean, Casting Crowns and Mercy Me. Some songs are a little to metal for me but the majority of their music is awesome.

Older Christian Alternative and Rock, Seventy Sevens, The Choir, Charlie Peacock, Larry Norman, Adam Again, The Violet Burning, music which is spritual but which makes me think as well. Steve Scott is very amazing but hard to find. Like blues and reaggae as well. Bob Dylan's, Slow Train Coming was a Christian classic, going to see him in two weeks!!

I just love Praise and Worship. Maybe it's because just after I was born again I got involved with the Praise and Worship ministry in church. My mum listened to Jimmy Swaggart and Jim Reeves alot but I did not care much for them.

I picked other as I like all different styles of Christian music as I did before I was saved I liked all different styles of music. I steer away from Metal but like Petra...I suppose they are more Rock, but like Vineyard Worship and other Worshipful songs As well as Amazing Grace and many other hymns!!!

Different people could be brought to the Lord with diffrent types of music. My "awakening" was with Christian Rap. I was floored and felt angry, as though our Father was being mocked, when I heard that there was Christian rap, but when I thought about it, it didn't really take me long at all to realize what the good in it was.

Those who love rap to listen to are not going to open their ears to gospel, praise and worship, country, whatever. My next thought, after I acknowledged that it can be done, was, "How do you mention Jesus in a rap song???" I felt puzzled. I then heard a Christian rap song. SOLD!
That is why, Miracle27, what you say makes all the sense in the world.
